Turning the Tables?

I loathe violence, but sometimes there is a poetic justice in what people get up to. It has been reported that up to one in ten people in Scotland have suffered some kind of sectarian abuse (The Universe, 120).

According to a survey (always something to be wary of because conclusions are based on very small numbers, which are then projected onto the whole population), Catholics are four times more likely to be victims of sectarianism as Protestants.

I may not like violence – but is this the turning of the tables? For centuries the RCC persecuted and killed thousands of Christians because they believed scripture more than they believed the cult heresies of Rome.

Another Newman?

Cardinal Newman was a turncoat, who espoused Romanism. He was not a Christian who turned against Christ, but was an unsaved man with Christian pretensions. Even so, as all unsaved people ought to do, he lived by Christian values…until he turned to the whore of Babylon, Rome.

Now, ex-archbishop Carey is to follow in Newman’s footsteps. He need not actually become Catholic, for his actions speak louder than words…he is to teach a course on ecumenism at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome! (The Universe 119). Like Newman he has become a papal lapdog, proving his true calling and rejecting the holy purity of God’s word.

Ecumenism Broadens Its Scope

The Vatican is calling on all ‘priests and lay people’ to bring Muslims and Christians ‘closer together’. (The Universe 119). This move by Rome is not unusual. Note how it gets along quite happily in areas built upon occultism. The aim is to bring Islam under the influence of Rome and so increase the span of ecumenism.

There is nothing wrong with being neighbourly with Muslims, but no Christian can draw closer without letting his neighbour know that he cannot accept his false faith. Nor can Christians ‘respect’ Islam, or what it stands for. Islam is opposed to the God of scripture. But, so is Rome, so they will make great bedfellows!

“Dem Bones, Dem Bones, Dem Dry Bones…”

So the old Negro spiritual song goes. It seems that Irish police say that Dublin will ‘come to s standstill’ when the supposed relics of St Anthony are taken there ‘for a visit’. (The Universe 118).

It seems incredible that people in our modern day still pander to suspicion and medieval beliefs. The relics of so-called ‘saints’ are cherished and given magical powers, hence adherents will kiss the toes of statues, etc. As I noted in my recent visit to Malta, the statues and environment of many Catholic churches are sumptuous, far beyond any riches achieved by ordinary Catholics.

They are like the photos in devotee magazines such as ‘Hello’, which publish images and stories of lifestyles never to be lived by its readers, who think the lives of the rich and famous are to be copied, or yearned for.

Dublin folk will line the streets and stay off work when a box of old bones trundles past their faithful thousands. The bones will be dry and useless, evidence that death has reaped another man in the past. They are of no use to man nor beast, not even to flavour soup!! Yet, men and women will bow down to them, though they would never bow to the Saviour or show Him even equal respect and devotion.

Mess of Mass

A senior Vatican cardinal recently celebrated traditional Latin mass, for the first time since 1970 when modernisation gripped its heretical walls. (The Universe 118).

This has to be with the approval of his headship the pope…not bad for a man whose rulings are law. Popes do change their minds, but such incidents are not, of course, proof of ‘mistakes’ or a change in Rome’s policies. Oh no – the faithful will just accept it all as they have done in the past. Catholicism is just like any other blind and brainwashed cult…such as charismaticism and, to a lesser degree, reformationism. Any group that rests its theology on the theories of men and refuses to rethink its invented beliefs is cultic.

Not On Our Turf!

Ireland’s RC ‘Family and Life’ organisation has complained to the Irish Medicines Board because it has allowed the ‘morning after’ pill to be sold in the Republic. (The Universe 117).

For Ireland this is a body-blow, as the country is still staunchly Catholic, even if only nominally. (The Catholicity of Ireland is taken for granted, but it has been Catholic for a relatively short period, as a study of history would show!).

Really, it is all such a farce, because Irish girls have travelled to Britain for decades now, to get abortions. Then they return to Ireland as good little Catholics, again bowing and praying to idols. So long as these things don’t happen on Irish turf, it is okay!

Ah well…

Graham Norton is a ‘mincing’ homosexual, as anyone can see on TV. He recently decided to pose naked on a magazine cover, with a picture of the pope covering his genitals.

The Advertising Standards Agency decided that it was “not offensive to Catholics”. Ah well! Personally I think the photo was juxtaposed in good company, as even RC prelates admit that most of its priests are homosexual, or latently so!

Why??

Why is the RCC so desperate to get the huge debts of countries wiped out by the world’s banks? Rome is at the forefront of trying to get rid of vast amounts owed by nations, even if their leaders are despots, using the cash for their own grandiose lifestyles. Why?

Let me hazard an educated guess…if they are seen to be supporting these countries, who owe money not just to banks, but to the people who bank with them – you and me – it will mean banks will pass on the debt to us! It will also mean that Rome’s priests will do their usual infiltration trick. Once they have their feet under the table they will begin to fleece the country themselves, giving the cash to Rome!

Rome does not give away its own hoarded wealth. Instead, it tries to force banks to just forget debts founded on our hard-earned money! Then it rakes in the available money from the poor in particularly. So, the people of the countries affected will still be paying out their small incomes, but this time to Rome direct. The leaders will continue to be rich despots, so very little has changed – except that instead of the cash going to the banks, it will go straight into the Vatican! Clever stuff, eh?

Dementia in Rome?

The Vatican is trying to say that the “phenomenon of dissent (within its own ranks)” by theologians, is “something unprecedented in the history of Christianity”. (The Universe 114).

Has dementia set in, with its consequent forgetfulness? What on earth do they think the Reformation was? After all, Rome burned enough of their own kind! The Reformation was not led by ‘free’ churchmen, but by loyal Catholics! It would be nice to muse that those Catholic theologians who now dissent will lead another Reformation, but I don’t think it will happen. Rather, apostasy will become rife, as it almost is right now.

EU Not Catholic Lackey?

Europhiles think that talk of the EU being a lackey of Rome is false. A recent report, however, spills the beans…

A top European official, condemning lack of freedom for the Catholic church in Turkey, warned that continued opposition to Catholicism could “impede the country’s future EU membership”. (The Universe 113).

What was that about the EU not being ruled by Rome? Turkey wants to become strict Muslim, but it also wants to join the EU for the financial benefits it perceives will come. Which will win? I think the EU will win…watch the news!

Rome is described well in The Revelation. It will grow in power, but will one day be toppled by God for ever. Before that will come fervent global ecumenism.
