GAY PRIDE, GAY SHAME

Gay Pride marches and carnivals are not new. Homosexual men and women strut their stuff in front of thousands as they promote their perverted life styles.

Gay Pride is another term for Gay Shame, as a small number of the population boast about their sin and evil sexual trade…homosexuality might now be ‘legal’ but it remains immoral.

Now that same shame has touched scripture. The New Oxford Annotated Bible (NRSV) has been amended to accommodate a pro - homosexual stance, to the utter discredit and shame of its editors, who feel able to overturn God’s word with their own theories.

It must be well received, because the editors were praised by the head of the awful Metropolitan Community Churches (USA) – homosexual and proud of it.

These churches filled with men and women who wrongly assume that God loves them as they are, have been trying to get the true interpretation of scripture rewritten so as to show homosexuality in a good light.

So far, they are pleased that the homosexual cause has been pushed to the forefront of many church’s agendas. Now, they are over the moon because a Bible version has been published containing notes that support homosexuals in their vile lifestyles.

The spokesman for the MCC, Troy Perry, said that “Now comes one of the most significant theological breakthroughs in my 33 years of ministry with the MCC”. He is referring to the third edition of the New Oxford Annotated Bible.

I always warn Christians who buy such versions that the footnotes and other notes in them are merely the views of other men and may not correctly reflect scriptural meanings, because many translators and version editors are unsaved people. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that this new version is a parody of the truth, giving to readers a slanted and unscriptural theology.

Gays now say that the scholars who edited the new version are outstanding – they certainly are…but in their sin, not in their academic achievements. One of these ‘scholars’ wrote and thanked Perry for his ‘ministry’ which “helped to shape the scholarship of this edition”. Thus, this new version is a dead work of iniquity foisted on the public as truth!!

How can saved men adopt the many evil twisted views of scripture taught by gays who simply wish to justify and rationalise their sin? The answer is very easy to give – they are not saved at all.

The scholar who praised Perry and his group of homosexual sin-bins called ‘churches’ added that “There is no Biblical condemnation of homosexuality – only prohibitions against its misuse…”!!

Some years ago I heard a ‘scholar’ – maybe the same one – discussing his view of anti-gay scriptures. I was so appalled by his outright bad scholarship that I wrote down what he said, and later gave my theological response, which is in our current Publications List. The same evil views are now to be found in this new version, which, though used widely, is of no use whatever to serious and genuine Christians. It is the Bible of evil men and women, not of Believers.

The old chestnut is rolled-out, that the real charge against Sodom was not its sodomy, but its abuse of the rules of hospitality!!

The famous passage in Romans 1 has been reduced to saying that what is condemned is not homosexuality itself, but only ‘immoderate indulgence’ in it!!

Thus men who are called ‘scholars’ demean their academic minds and spread lies and dishonour. Their theology is not just suspect – it is outrageous and very bad exegesis, the stuff of fools and liars, condemned doubly by our holy God. They have played with God’s word, but He will not be mocked. He must exact justice for this blatant public mockery of His word.

Again, we advise that homosexuality in any form is evil, condemned by God as worthy of death and hell. For reasons see our articles…and note the strongly pro-homosexual beliefs of the new Anglican Archbishop, who will further plunge his failing church into greater darkness.

There are Many Pinocchios

When the Toronto Blessing arose from the pit like a dragon of destruction, I likened the people who followed its false teachings to Pinocchio, the little boy made of wood whose indiscretion and folly led him to think the fun-fair was a great place to be. But, the scales fell from his eyes and he saw it for what it truly was – a place of wrongdoing and misery. Sadly, only the first part applies to charismatics, who refuse to let the scales drop from their eyes, though they experience things that go bump in the night.

After Toronto had supplied the false needs of searchers from around the world, other locations were said to contain God and His spiritual gifts, such as Pensacola amongst many others. Each time a new place was found thousands flocked like wooden-headed Pinocchios to ‘get’ the ‘blessing’, though it is all an illusion given by Satan.

Today the new location is Lagos, Nigeria (which is also a happy-hunting ground for the charismatic, Bonnke). The man of the moment, another deceiver, is a ‘prophet’ named T. B. Joshua. Needless to say thousands will now fly to meet the new speaker for God, only to find a broken cistern. These people are not hungry for God as so many charismatics claim – they are hungry to fill their bellies with lies.

NO THANKS

On 27th September we were invited to appear on the Kilroy show, to be shown on 1st October. We were asked to present our views on homosexuality on a programme entitled “Discovering your child is gay”. I declined to appear, but we said the show could quote our material if it so wished.

I must admit that some in our church do not understand why I decline such invitations. Surely it is a way of getting the message across? My answer is ‘No’.

The Kilroy show is an example of one of those many chat shows without purpose. It offers many viewpoints without any real conclusion and I have seen too many Christians publicly slaughtered on the show just in order to satisfy the ratings. Also, such shows always contain a high number of pro-homosexuals.

I can guarantee that this particular show will contain an imbalance, with many pro-gays and parents who have ‘accepted’ their children’s homosexuality, giving volatile and emotionally labile responses. Can you imagine the way we would be treated? I see no advantage in being held up for ridicule if there is no clear reason to do so and if our words would be deliberately marginalized…which they would. It is my personal task to tell-forth what God says, not to argue the case against homosexuals in a debate. And that is the way I see it.

Koran & Bible Made Equal

For the first time, the Koran has been made equal to the Bible in a parliamentary oath. Though making an oath on scripture is not acceptable, at least those who make it are basing their ideas loosely on the truth.

Ashraf Choudhary, a new Muslim member of the New Zealand parliament, was allowed to be sworn-in using the Koran. Other members objected on the grounds that it was ‘traditional’ to use the Bible. This is not a good sign, for it replaces the Bible with the book of a cult.

That same cult says that we should drink camel urine, and that Satan gets into our noses at night, so we must sniff water up them before saying prayers! It says that our eyes will be grabbed out of our heads if we lift them skyward during prayer, and that non-Muslims have seven intestines. Also, if someone falls asleep during prayers, Satan will come along and urinate in his ear! Bet you didn’t know that important stuff! Oh yes, and the prayers of a man who has eaten garlic or onions will not be heard, either. So, this same Koran is equal to scripture?

The Evolution of Unbelief

Evolution, as I have pointed out many times, is not a fact. Nor is it a theory. It is not even an hypothesis. It is a very bad idea with nowhere to go. Thinking themselves clever, thousands of intelligent people believe in this anti-science idea. They oppose Creation because, simply, it would be ‘unacceptable’ to believe in God, even though there are no proofs whatever for evolution! Yet, the argument goes on and on, a testimony to the unbelief of evolutionists.

For this reason we will be opening up the matter on our website. We will approach the top Creationist scientists and ask them to publicly discuss evolution and creation on the Internet. Some years ago Dr Gish of the Creation Research Institute accepted this challenge, but the evolutionist backed off and refused to take part! Says a lot, doesn’t it?

There will be very simple rules of engagement…the discussion must be conducted on scientific grounds alone and each must answer the objections or statements of the other until the matter has been exhausted. I look forward to it!!

There are many Christians who believe in evolution. That is why I intend to rewrite and present my long treatise on Genesis One, which, I insist, is 100% historical without a shred of figurative language. This account proves that the days in Genesis One are literal 24 hour days. For the Christian that ought to be sufficient proof to discount evolution.

How can they say, without laughing, that evolution is true, when it says that, say, a leg became a wing, without even the tiniest scrap of evidence? Or that a fish suddenly was able to breathe on land to become something else with lungs? Their credulity is beyond belief!

More of this proposal in the Beacon after we have formalised everything. Do not underestimate the importance of this matter, for a belief in evolution is a vote for humanism and unbelief. It is not fertile ground for Christians.

Paedophile Danger

It has been revealed that thousands of paedophiles are concentrated in or near housing areas containing large numbers of children. And these sex-criminals usually band together when outside prison. One group of paedophiles even started a Sunday School!

They scour advertisements to find out who are single mothers with young children, and they provide baby-sitting services! Rapists also do similar things, in order to get closer to prime targets.

I have yet to learn of a paedophile who turns his/her life around and recants of their awful desires. There are many myths surrounding such people. One is that a ‘flasher’ never goes on to do anything else. But this is a fable, for many flashers go on to commit rape and kill. Most paedophiles begin by looking at child pornography. They then mull over what they see and read and search for even more material, nowadays over the Internet. They gather like societies and spread their evil desires even wider, swapping foul photos and addresses of children susceptible to their evils. It is then a short step to kidnapping, assaulting and killing children. Where are the true judges, eh?
