Self-Burial The UK, once a bastion of free speech and liberty, is becoming the world’s graveyard. On 5th June the Sexual Orientation Regulations 2006 continued on its journey to become law. It means gays will be able to use every opportunity to find ‘offence’ with all providers of goods and services in the UK, even if they are free. It will be against the law to only offer goods and services to people with a particular sexual orientation. So for example if a church refuses to offer marriage services to gays or baptism to people who have not repented of their homosexual behaviour that would be against the law. It is happening anyway, even before the bill becomes active! The bill spells the death knell for freedom of speech, not just for Christians, but for anyone who will not accept homosexuality as normal or good. That goes for Muslims, Roman Catholics, and…well, anyone, with religious beliefs or none. ‘Ordinary’ homosexuals are not usually a part of this idiocy. The driving force is a very small number of homosexual activists, whose aim is very simple – to crush all opposition in any way possible. They are especially hateful toward Christians. This activity is being expanded by a lesbian couple coming to the UK specifically to cause mischief, by demanding their Canadian ‘marriage’ is accepted as legal in the UK. I find this kind of pressure galling. It is the usual way of homosexuals – to apply maximum pressure, even if it is against the law (see the riot in Moscow? Caused by gays who led a ‘gay pride’ march even though the authorities banned it. Then they cried crocodile tears when they were manhandled!!). In the USA, gays claimed special protection in law because they claimed they were constantly being attacked. But, when research was done, it was found that the number of gays attacked because they were gay was actually so low as to be of no consequence! As researchers said, “If we go by the facts and figures, it isn’t gays who need protecting, it’s heterosexuals!” The same goes for the UK. Though claiming all kinds of terrible attacks and abuse being conducted against them, the number of so-called ‘homophobic’ attacks are extremely low, if not almost non-existent. Yet, whole laws are drafted on the basis of gay propaganda! What credible MP will insist on laws based on such ridiculous foundations? Where are the actual facts to support gay claims? They are invented! So, why draft laws to protect what does not exist? What is the aim of gay activists? It is not about being homosexual, because they will do this anyway, as they have done for a very long time. They want nothing less than total sexual freedom, including the ‘liberation’ of children into their hands, and the total eradication of Christianity. On the way to achieving both of these aims they want total repression of ideas and suppression of opposition, even to the point of what we think! As we keep warning, this is fascism in action. There is no point in gay activists screaming abuse at people for saying it, when their techniques are the same as those used in Nazi Germany! The law is putting gays above all other sections of society, even though gays never rise to more than about 1% of the population (figure after adjustment, based on the fact that all gays change back to heterosexuality at least once in their gay lifetime)! Thank God, some countries shun gay propaganda and tell the truth. But the UK is the EU’s lapdog and rushes to comply with every law it passes, to the detriment of everybody. What we are seeing today makes no sense! It is beyond rationality and reason. Why are governments actually making laws to preserve the ‘rights’ of people who do society harm? Homosexuality is sterile. This is a very obvious fact. If gays remained gays and everyone was gay, the whole world would die out in just one generation! So, in what way is the lifestyle ‘natural’? It cannot even sustain human life! We keep saying, time and again, that our own aim is NOT to oppose homosexuals themselves (because this sin will always be with us: We loathe it, but cannot stop it). Our aim is to stop gay activists from removing our freedom of speech. They only want freedom of speech for themselves, not others. The techniques of gay activists and those who energetically frame laws and policies are…fascist. Of this there is no doubt. For two decades, gay activists have openly ridiculed, taunted and said vile things about Christians and Christianity. Yet, the government let’s them get away with it! We say one word they don’t like, and the law comes into play! This is fascism, and it is an increasing feature of our Labour government, which readily mixes communist-type dictatorship with fascist methods. There is a sister bill to this Sexual Orientation bill – ‘Religious Beliefs’. Though wording is virtually the same, we predict that the same rigour will NOT be applied to its formation as law! Watch for proof! The bill will NOT receive much attention, whether in work or out, because if both are in existence, each would cancel the other out! But this won’t happen – because emphasis will be placed on homosexuality, not religious beliefs. If YOU don’t fight this, you will become a part of making this country a graveyard. Contact your MP and your Anglican bishop (not because they have spiritual energy but because they are part of the law-making process). Tell them what you think. Remember – it is freedom of speech that is the real issue right now. But don’t expect much from Anglican bishops, who have splendidly sat on the fence. One of their statements is that ‘interpretation’ of texts against homosexuality is open to different views! In terms of interpretation this is bunkum! The texts are very clear…but most Anglicans do not want to fight the cause of Christ. They have flunked the test of faith. Even so, write and make your views known. This opening article is of vital importance, because even if the issue does not affect you right now, it will. It affects every single person in the UK. There WILL come a day when you will want to be free in your speech, but you will be denied it. Furthermore, if these bills continue to take a grip, we further predict that the next sin to demand freedom will be paedophilia. All the known facts lead us to say that. Even if the bill is made law (because people are afraid to speak out) we can reverse it by constant and heavy pressure. After all, that is what gay activists are applying! The only difference is that we have the truth (medically, scientifically and morally), whereas they only have propaganda based on lies and deception. The Reformers fought tooth and nail for freedom of speech. Don’t just lose it because gays shout louder! Additional Note: A reader sent us a note that supports our warning… An openly gay man started work with him and his colleagues. Within just a week he was freely talking about his gay ‘partner’ and their life together. Of course, everyone else had to shut up. Then, on seeing a young man and woman walking past holding hands, he plainly said that it was “disgusting”. Now, if our reader had said that about HIM, he would have called in the police! That, friends, is fascism!! If we don’t stop it now, everyone will become a victim. In my places of work whenever a gay started to talk of his or her life with their partners, or about any gay issue, I simple left the room. At least then you don’t have to listen to things you believe to be immoral. If you are prompted by a gay (or their sympathisers, the thought police who are ready to report you) to make comments, just say “No comment” and walk away. IMPORTANT Remember this: Heterosexuality is not a ‘choice’ or an ‘orientation’ – it is natural and inbuilt. Homosexuality IS a choice, because it bucks what is inbuilt. Is It Really Global Warming? A feature of Marxist-style government is to make everything appear to be a disaster. Then, when folk are running around bewildered and in despair, along come the ‘saviours’ of their situation with exactly the right answers! Some Christian observers have wondered for years whether or not there truly is global warming, or if it is just a governmentally-inspired ruse to get people to obey their ‘green’ policies. (Every policy put out by governments tend to boost their own power). Way back in 1883, Krakatoa erupted with immense force. The explosion was so loud, it not only burst the eardrums of inhabitants, it could be heard 3,000 miles away! Atmospheric shock waves circled the whole earth seven times and were felt for five days. Although this disaster happened in 1883, it had long-lasting effects on the entire world. Weather was affected everywhere for a long time, and world temperature was lowered, to about the middle of the 1900’s according to latest research. (In 1893 Edvard Munch painted his famous ‘The Scream’. It had a blood-red sky, and experts say it was an accurate portrayal of the sky over Norway at that time). So, my question is this…since then we have had major events, such as mount Helena and the awful Indonesian tsunami. Is our ‘global warming’ caused by their activities, and not by anything else? Could it be that in time temperatures will again go back to normal? Whatever the cause and real effects, Christians must not lose heart. Yes, scripture reveals some terrible things ahead for the last days, but it also offers hope for all who are in Christ. The world will NOT end as scientists predict! A meteor will NOT smash us to smithereens. The ozone layer will NOT cause us to be suffocated and over-heated by the sun’s rays. The entire creation will end at the precise time in God’s mind. It will not be some insidious creeping disaster, but one swift destruction by fire, ordered by God’s word. Sudden and universal! That means we will know nothing about it. The ‘Krakatoa principle’ may well be the case today, and many more disasters will come along before the last days…but don’t keep your eyes on the skies - keep them on the pages of scripture! Give Blame, Not Platitudes! An eleven year old is pregnant after getting drunk in Edinburgh. Social workers are calling her a ‘young woman’ and are talking about all the help she will need, etc. What’s really needed is a legal review of her parents’ ability to control and bring up their kids! They must be blamed for allowing such a young girl to be out late, and to get drunk. It is ridiculous to call her a ‘young woman’! She is just a kid out of control. As such she needs to be roundly blamed for what she has done, as should the 15 year old boy who carefully took advantage of the situation. Sadly, our society recoils in horror at the idea of using the birch and other capital punishments even though they should be used according to scripture. Yet, they readily allow murderers, paedophiles and other sexual deviants to take over the nations! We will do nothing with our society whilst we refuse to allocate blame to those who require it, no matter how young. In the area I live in I see posters in many windows calling for a 20 mph speed restriction on our local streets. Why? Because a young girl was killed last year on the road where she lived. Because of this locals are calling for vehicle restrictions. To my mind this is absurd. They want to penalise every driver because parents could not be bothered to keep their own children away from danger! It is a terrible tragedy, but the blame must be placed on the shoulders of the parents who allowed such a young child to play on a busy main road! Children do not think as adults, and they dash out suddenly between cars. I was not allowed out on my own until the age of 14!! And then I could only stay on the pavement on my own side of the road. Before that I was only allowed to play in my own garden, or in a park watched by my parents. We went nowhere on our own and never played on the road. Today, youngsters can be seen roaming the streets far from their homes, and many can be seen late at night. If anything happens to them, we must blame the parents!! Tragedy strikes because they cannot be bothered to be good parents! Don’t blame hapless drivers who will have to live with horrific nightmares for the rest of their lives. Parents - YOU are to blame…look after your kids properly! Another Example… …of fascism in the UK…an elderly man kept sending photos and leaflets against abortion to his local hospital. Naturally, being thoroughly modern and therefore morally mindless, they hated him for it. He now needs hip replacements, but guess what has happened? The hospital has refused to let him have the necessary treatment! This is a direct result of voicing an adverse opinion. What is this? Go on, have a guess! There is a special word for it! The response by the hospital is fascist!! That is, they are penalising an old man because he holds an opinion they don’t like. The founder of this ministry, and similar Christians who speak out, know a lot about such attitudes!! We will continue to warn fellow Christians, that fascism is alive and well. Another feature of this fact is that, like their wartime German citizens, some of your neighbours are only too willing to inform on you for being so moral. Your local council is certainly willing to obliterate you if you step out of line, courtesy of the National Guard, the modern ‘Brown Shirts’ - homosexual activists. Before the war, when everyone was pretending Hitler was a wonderful guy, Charlie Chaplin made a film at his own expense, ‘The Great War’, in which he parodied the dictator. His aim was to show Hitler for what he really was through comedy, and he succeeded. The important point is that alone, when everyone else pretended it was okay, he stood against Hitler and his Nazi regime, which had already done immense damage to Germany and Jews. The same kind of damage is now being done by homosexual and pro-homosexual legislation, local councils, police and politicians. We need someone with the same clout as a Chaplin to stand against this inexplicable mayhem, before gas ovens again become a fashion accessory, this time to burn Christians. Talking of Which… Those homosexuals who have treated me with hatred in the past three years, and especially recently, are not hated by me. I have come to think of Joseph’s words. When his brothers realised that the all-powerful Egyptian pontiff was actually their own brother, they had great fear. Surely, they thought, he would now put them to death? But what did Joseph say to them? He told them that though they indeed did him immense harm, it was God, and not they, Who masterminded the whole thing, so that Joseph could reach Egypt and save thousands if not millions from starvation. It is my view that whilst homosexuals have done their best to destroy me over the past 20 years, they were only doing the bidding of Satan…and he was allowed to do what he did by God. Thus, those who did me harm are just pawns…scripture tells us that people who do evil cannot help what they do, because they are obeying their ‘father’, the devil. It is God Who caused them to do what they did, for His greater glory! The reason will become evident later. I may not be used to save millions from starvation, but whatever I have been moved from my previous links for, it will be in God’s will and will effect a far greater good. Hannibal My brother-in-law, John Rowlands, and I, were discussing the military campaigns of Hannibal. We talked about his brilliance as a field marshal. Then, I said I was perplexed about his Italian wars. Hannibal came through the Alps with 70,000 less men, because of disease and hunger. Yet, with only 20,000 tired, hungry soldiers, he completely obliterated any Roman legion sent against him. Yet, what seemed to me to be very odd, he rejected his generals’ urgent advice to carry on and take Rome. He just refused! As I was musing this odd failure, I said that it did not fit his previous character and fearlessness. It certainly led to the collapse of his prowess, and to his final failure and death by suicide. Then John, with clarity, said “But I knew instantly why Hannibal didn’t follow up his successes – God stopped him.” He said, “Think about it. If Hannibal had won, it would have changed the course of history! And the Romans would not have taken Israel. And if the Romans didn’t have an iron-grip on Israel, Jesus would not have been crucified. And if that hadn’t happened, there would be no Christian faith today!” Well, that put me in my place! He is perfectly correct. What makes this interesting (I am sure John won’t mind me saying this) is that John has not attended church for many years, because of past examples of sin by Christian pastors. But, he had a far better grasp of this issue than I did. Good for him! (It shows, though, that once a man has known the favour of God, he will never lose it). Gays might think they do what they do against me because they feel like doing it. Not so! Yes, they hate me, but it is Satan who drives them, like cattle, to do what they do. They have no choice but to act as they do, whereas Believers choose good or evil, and can stop doing what is wrong. There is the difference. Even so… Watch events unfold! Homosexuals are gathering false information together and making themselves, once again, ‘victims’ of those terrible ogres – Christians! And Anglican bishops are helping them to do damage. As a Christian I am not fighting against homosexuality per se, because this sexual sin will always be with us. No, what I fight (though it might seem hazy at times) is the way homosexuals are trying to force the world to do their bidding. It is their fascism I am opposing, not their lifestyle. If they wish to live in a sinful and dangerous way, let them! But, they have no right whatever to force the rest of us to accept it. (Note: Once again ‘experts’ are gathering to discuss how to stop AIDS. The answer was given 20 years ago by those with wisdom…you stop AIDS by stopping the activities that cause it! That is, homosexuality and sexual promiscuity. Eliminate these and you will stop AIDS in its tracks (and every other sexual disease). Though this is a self-evident truth no-one will say it! So, ‘expert’s get their free trip to a conference and they still get their salaries, researching in vain for some other answer! A Degree of Gullibility Some time ago I related the story of a man I knew who actively asked local churches if he could preach! I very much doubt if he was even a Christian. His forte was to take along a ventriloquist dummy! His ‘gospel’ was a mess, a theological hotch-potch. He sent pleas to places offering respite to pastors, and got weeks away for free! Perhaps it shows the spiritual paucity of churches, but he actually built up a ‘clientele’ and managed to get paid for it (because he asked for money)! Then, he bought the title ‘Reverend’ from the USA. I would like to say that anyone with an ounce of sense would have seen through the man…but they didn’t, at least not in those churches that only wanted someone in the pulpit. I thought of this man when I started getting lots of emails recently from businesses offering degrees (right up to doctorates) within two weeks, without doing any work. Obviously, gullible folk pay thousands of pounds to get them. My friends, it might seem great to have such a degree, but don’t be like that stupid man who bought himself the title ‘Reverend’. No-one with knowledge would give you any kind of credence and you would just be made to look very silly. Genuine degrees take a lot of very hard work. I have studied all my life and know what it takes. There are so-called colleges that accept life-experiences, and nothing, else as entry…so long as you have the money. When I did my post-graduate degrees (MA and PhD) I provided life-experience testimonials, one being from a former college principle. But, these were only to support my application. Alone, they did not give me a degree! I also had to have first degrees and post-graduate study experience at a higher level (with solid proof). A degree must be worked for, make no mistake. You must cover all the knowledge a full-time student must cover. It is possible for some of your experience to cover a part of it, but such experience would have to be rigorously supported by fact and testimonials. For example, when I started on my PhD in theology, I provided life-experience testimonials, but I had already studied at doctorate level for ten years previously. This included actual PhD studies for several years, plus other certificate courses and 30 years preaching, Bible-study and teaching and lecturing experience. All had to be verified and tested. Then, I had to complete a dissertation at doctoral level. Don’t get caught! If I am receiving these silly offers (many of whose agents cannot even spell properly) then I am sure many others are, too. (I also receive emails trying to persuade me to buy all kinds of drugs via the internet. Maybe I’m being picky, but I lack confidence in the one that says “We cure all deseases”!! Sunday Studies There are Christians who no longer attend a local church, for a variety of sound reasons that reflect the bad state of gatherings. Those who, by God’s grace, attend genuine churches cannot understand this predicament and even suggest that Christians who do not attend a local church must be backsliding! At BTM we have plenty of experience behind us! We also left what we came to call ‘the system’ after many trials, humiliations and downright heretical teachings. We started our own meetings and, in solid, scriptural manner we referred to ourselves as a local church. At the time we were over 20 in number. This number has reduced but we continue to meet together, knowing that we are the church in this particular place. In the past no formal Christian church has bothered with us, sought us out, offered help or spiritual sustenance. They think we have gone off the rails and prefer to avoid us. In the street and in shops, etc., they smile suitably and enter into small-talk, but they never ask about our spiritual state! We find this very sad, but, after 20 years we are no longer perturbed by it. If that’s how our brethren prefer to act, it is up to them. We can only say that with 20 years of intensive Bible study under our belts we are no longer interested in mere tradition or bad teaching and would prefer to be alone than to enter the portals of dead or fake churches. Some who have done a similar thing now no longer attend even a house gathering (No, I am not talking about the charismatic ‘house church’ movement). Our own small church meets in my home. Such gatherings have a favourable New Testament history! And, as I have been called by God to my role, I have no problems with it. It’s a pity that others, with more formal minds and hearts, cannot accept this. If they examined me, they would not find a heretic but one whose aim is to teach scripture as it is written. I am not a ‘fundamentalist’ with weird ideas; I am not cavalier, reading and teaching fanciful or silly fables. Our studies are systematic and truthful, based solely on what God’s word says. Increasingly, Christians, experienced and mature in their faith, tell me their own small house group has stopped meeting. In one recent letter I was told that a particular group’s pastor died, aged about 80, and others could not take over. Because there are no sound local churches, the lady who wrote to me said she no longer attends them and so she stays at home. This kind of thing is widespread. For this reason we send out weekly studies every Sunday (free) by email. They are the written summaries of our own Sunday meeting studies. Their presentation varies according to the subject matter, but all are based on true interpretation, in context, examining texts from the Greek or the Hebrew. This can mean, literally, a word-for-word study, or a phrase-by-phrase study, or something broader at times. That is, as the teacher I remain within scripture and never ‘spiritualise’ as so many do. (No, I do not claim supremacy!). Normally, the studies are sent out by email as soon as I complete them, usually some time on Sunday. Some chapters are longer than others. They are all written (I hope) in easy to understand format. I do not pretend to be a ‘stand-in’ pastor, but there are many out there who need communion with the saints, with sound teaching.
