Political Correctness Political Correctness (PC) is much, much more than a few silly folk insisting on this or that way of doing things. It is a worldwide movement designed to obliterate free speech and Christianity. Even those paid to think freely – university professors – are prevented from doing so, and this is causing much panic in academic circles, where freedom to speak is linked with the ability of academics to publish and debate their work…a vital part of their earning potential (and progression of ideas). This is already well advanced in the USA. The link between ‘PC’ and homosexuality cannot be disputed and is part of the same downward trend in society. Even the police are caught up in the whole sorry mess. PC also affects research, which is often slanted toward PC answers, as the most recent research into abortion proves. PC ‘rights’ people are trying their best to play-down the results of this, the most comprehensive research ever done on the subject. The findings will not surprise Christians – that those who have an abortion often go on to experience mental health problems. Throughout the westernised world, amazingly PC councils are removing their national flags, “just in case people of other nationalities are offended”! Can you believe it? They can fly their flags in their country, but we can’t do so in our own! In the UK, Registrar’s Offices have dutifully removed signs with the word ‘marriage’ on them. They are replaced by the word ‘ceremony’. Why? So as not to offend gays! That is, less than 1% of all the population are dictating to the other 99%. It does not matter if the rest of us are offended, so long as a very small pretend ‘minority’, whose lifestyle is based solely on a sexually questionable choice, can have its own way! Don’t accept these things – complain! Those who have no argument resort to law and regulations. There is such a paucity of genuine support, they cannot face an opponent fairly to ‘slug it out’ intellectually! The whole matter of dissident speech has been dumbed-down by PC people too scared to face the truth. PC automatically means loss of freedom of speech. The position must be reversed. The Gay Horse! Sam Brown, an Oxford student, got a bit drunk after finishing his exams last year. He asked a mounted policeman “Do you know your horse is gay?” A few minutes later, along came two police cars and Sam was arrested for ‘hate speech – homophobia!’ No, it’s not April Fool’s day - a policeman actually arrested him for it! We know that every policeman has discretionary powers in minor incidents. He can take things further or just caution. But what was this all about? It certainly wasn’t an ‘homophobic incident’ – it was just a young man saying something he thought was funny. Anyone in his right mind would just say “Move along, sonny”. A UK lawyer says that police are ‘making examples’ of people so as to please the gay crowd and their superiors. Oh so sad! The charges were later dropped by the court. In which way can a joke about a horse be construed as ‘hate speech’? How is it ‘homophobia’? For goodness sake – this is just one big farce! ! By all means arrest the student for drunken behaviour – but homophobia??? How can such draconian measures be taken, based on an invented word – ‘homophobia’? What is the exact meaning of this daft word according to the police? In what way is it ‘hatred’ to tell the public the facts about homosexuality? None of the legal and official pressure is based on truth! No doubt police will now go on to wire-up our brains and imprison us if our thought-induced electrical impulses suggest we are thinking against homosexuality! No – that isn’t a joke…it is closer to reality than anyone realises. The police are used like pawns in the gay agenda game. We must speak out as often as we can, before we all are set-up to be prosecuted! Gay Agenda The ‘gay agenda’ exists and is active throughout the world. It is literally changing society, and that is why all Christians must be aware of its methods. That is why I will be disseminating information widely throughout the world. In the UK – have you noticed a sudden spate of homosexual advertisements? I can think of three straight away – one with replica ‘Village People’ singing ‘YMCA’ and another, with Australian toughies singing to an ad for women’s motor insurance. The third, by a credit card company, is about two ‘gay’ guinea pigs. The three use humour, but the aim is hard-core gay. One of the gay agenda aims is to swamp society with as many advertisements as possible, all depicting gay scenes and people as ‘normal’. It begins with humour (but not anything that denigrates homosexuality) and builds up from there. It will lead on to much more serious scenes. It is all part of ‘softening up’ society to receive the ‘real bad stuff’…and these facts are all quoted from gay sources, who are quite open about it all. We can expect to see many more pro-gay ads. Don’t laugh with those ads. Don’t sing-along. Tell everyone what it is all about and keep telling them what is really happening. Now we have a film, ‘Brokeback Mountain’. It is blatantly gay, but the posters don’t tell us that. The blurb says it is about ‘love’. In reality it is about two cowboys who indulge in a biologically perverse sex act, and who break up a marriage. There’s nothing much about ‘love’ in that! By using excellent music, superb acting and mood-inducing scenes, the aim of the film is simple – to make homosexuality seem acceptable. By saying it is a ‘love’ film, and omitting the word ‘gay’ it makes out that ‘love’ is the same no matter if it is homosexual or heterosexual. Clever strategy! Fantastic though it might sound, but the originators of the ‘gay agenda’ base their methods on Red-Chinese brainwashing techniques. No kidding! This is all deadly-serious for gay activists. Exploding Chestnuts I think my next book might be called ‘Exploding Chestnuts’. It will tell readers not to walk away when heating chestnuts in the oven! I put some into the oven on a tray – it would only take 10 minutes to heat them up. Then the skins would split and I could enjoy the hot proceeds. That is, so long as I don’t walk away… Typically, I went back to my study to do some more work on articles. By the time I entered the study I had already forgotten about the chestnuts. Next thing I heard (half an hour later) was a loud bang! My wife got there first – opened the oven and found a layer of burst nuts all over the inside, like a furry coat. Not quite pleased she accused me of “Doing it again!” (The second time with chestnuts). I always put stuff on or in the cooker and forget to go back…don’t know how many pots and pans I’ve ruined like that. So, if putting chestnuts in the oven, stay with them until they are done! (Once, over 20 years ago, I did the same thing with bananas and chocolate sauce in a saucepan – they ended up all over the kitchen walls and ceiling. But, that’s another story!). They are fake and nothing at all to do with us. We get them, too!! Thanks! Thanks to those of you who so kindly sent gifts, I am still afloat! This includes ‘S.W.’ who has been instrumental in keeping me sane! We seem to have sufficient for each coming week so far… Thanks again. Last week we were reduced to literally the coin-change in my pocket and this got us some bread and potatoes. Then we remembered we had a very large bottle (a huge whiskey bottle someone gave us from a closed pub or something!), in which we kept small coins…must be for the past five years. It was emptied and my son took it to a supermarket, where a change-machine counts it and gives back notes. Anyway, it came to £59 and a bit. Today, we went to the shops to get some food with this windfall. We didn’t bother to carefully calculate what we bought – we just kept it to a minimum. But, guess what the bill came to? Yes - £59 and a bit! The exact amount in the bottle! Go on cynics – try to tell me God does not exist, or His provisions are not exact! Nevertheless, please pray that the £1600 we need every month like clockwork will be met. This is required for the payments we have to meet, none of which are frivolous, and some of which are the left-over effects from gay attacks way back in 1986 which gave us crippling debts! Why Won’t I Just Shut Up? Some suggest that my current position is my own fault. They say if I had only kept my mouth shut, I would be okay. Therefore, why should they help? I must get on with it best as I can! Just like Paul, who had to run for his life from cities for preaching the truth; or like Jesus Himself, for answering Pilate when he asked “What is truth?”, and for opposing the Pharisees. Why did I not just shut up? My friends, I have said it before, I am called to be a watchman. A watchman shouts the alarm when danger comes near. He is likely to be the first to be killed at the wall when it is over-run as the inhabitants sleep. But he sticks his ground. I’ve always found it very hard to run away from responsibility, even if I get hurt in the process. I find it even harder if others are being harmed, including my enemies! As for being intimidated – well, I will fight back, hard! I have had no choice in the things I have been called to defend or to oppose. If God tells me to do this or that, then I do it, regardless of the cost. Yes, it scares the life out of me, but it has to be done. Why me? Frankly, if one group is being persecuted, it might as well be me being persecuted. If I don't think that way, then I run the risk of falling into the trap described by Martin Niemoeller; he put it in a very powerful way: “In Germany they came first for the Communists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me, and by that time no one was left to speak up.” See the point? If you have children, then beware…gays (and lesbians) want them as recruits. This is what they say themselves, and they are proud of it. As for free speech – if you think my present plight is my own fault, then you will not notice your loss of free speech until you need to exercise it…because you’ve been hiding from the truth for too long. By then it will be too late. You see, none of this is really about sexual immorality itself – it is about a very small group of vicious people wanting to silence everyone else. I am no-one special, and I am just as scared as you of attracting attention to myself – but it must be done! Even when I know I will be attacked. Each time I have to oppose those who are sinful and vile, my legs turn to water and my stomach turns somersaults. I want to just run! But I can’t! I cannot turn my back on what God wants me to do. Others might hide, but I can’t. Simple as that. And the strange thing is this – though I have been savaged by gays and lesbians, I don’t hate them! That’s the truth. I feel an intense sorrow, and sometimes anger – but no hatred. They are just ordinary men and women caught in an unfortunate sexual lifestyle. Any of us could be similarly bound. It is worth continuing my opposition, because it can also save the lives of these men and women who are ‘gay’ and ‘lesbian’! They need much help. But, at the same time, they must also be opposed. Not to oppose them is to condone what they do, place our own families in moral danger, and let down those who need to hear the real Gospel. On thing I know for sure – gays and lesbians do not enjoy their lives. They shout loudly that they do, but it is all a sham. Naughty Gene Researchers everywhere are taking public funding in a vain attempt to find a ‘gene’ that will affect almost any behaviour you can think of, from excessive shopping to gambling…and, of course, homosexuality. Cardiff University will not be left out – its researchers are trying to find a gene that causes children and teenagers to be naughty! (Ref: Dept Psychological Medicine, School of Medicine, Cardiff University). Perhaps they might see this as impertinent, but can these intrepid folk tell me exactly how they can manage to prove a link between a gene - any gene, take your pick – and human behaviour? I mean a proven link, not just a supposition. What proven mechanism is there to translate a genetic characteristic into an outward action? One can prove the structure of a gene and anything physical it may exhibit. But, how can any scientist prove that this or that gene causes certain behaviour? I know that our Cardiff researchers cannot answer me, because no such mechanism exists, nor can it. A scientist can claim anything he wishes as a result of the existence of a gene, or because of its structure, etc. But, he cannot, even given an eternity, prove that the gene has anything at all to do with behaviour! It is impossible, because choices are determinants! In all genetic research suggesting a link with behaviour, you will find key words used. For example, Prof Anita Thapar says “It’s complex, and the gene increases only the possibility of anti-social behaviour”. In other words, with respect, it is all guesswork! Every scientist in this field of work says it is “complex”. What they really mean is they have no proof! The gene, ‘COMT’, is “linked with the brain’s prefrontal lobes; these seem to determine traits such as honesty, impulsivity and self-control. Environmental factors, such as poor nutrition in the womb, may determine if the gene begins to affect people’s behaviour.” Most folk are not scientifically aware, but let me break-down the plain truth: Firstly, researchers use words like ‘linked’, ‘seem to’, ‘may’, etc. These are not scientific terms but are used by scientists who have no proof. They are guessing. The guesses might indeed be highly educated, but they remain guesses. It is true that anything affecting the prefrontal lobes can cause loss of self-control. For example, bringing about impulsive acts. But the same cannot be said of something as nebulous as ‘honesty’! Poor womb nutrition and low birth rate do not give the best of starts to a person, either. This is true. But the fact remains – a gene can’t cause a person to do something he does not wish to do. My eldest son had a low birth rate; he didn’t become anti-social! What causes anti-social behaviour and the naughtiness in so many children today? Sin! Or, if you prefer non-Christian language – a person has to choose to be naughty or anti-social. I can only think that the researchers are middle class, from good backgrounds. How many anti-social children and teenagers do they know? We lived in a very rough neighbourhood for many years and saw first-hand what makes these anti-social youngsters tick (and were often the unfortunate recipients of their sin). They get gang-land kudos from being as vicious and as bad as they can be. That includes the smallest of children. They know, too, that the worse they get the more their parents will give-in to shut them up. And, of course, do-gooders reject the use of law and simple parental discipline. The baddies are bad because they want to be. Their genes are irrelevant. In the past my wife and I have known years of poverty. But we did not go out and steal, or mug old ladies, or lash out easily. That’s because we were disciplined inwardly. Researchers who indulge in these flights of fantasy are robbing true research of money. They are basing their beliefs not on science but on the mythical hypothesis of evolution…where men and women are forced along their path by unseen and cold ‘nature’. I have also been involved in dealing with murderers and the most vicious adults in society. I have been at the receiving end of their wish to inflict damage. And I can tell the researchers that no gene produced their vile actions. All it took was the desire to be vicious! They enjoyed doing damage and killing. If the researchers don’t understand this awful predilection of unsaved people, they may as well give up being researchers! Not very scientific language, I know – but closer to the facts than an elusive and mythical ‘gene’ causing anti-social behaviour. I have every respect for serious research, but not for research that takes funding without holding out a promise of any genuine result. So, what happens if a gene can be found that predisposes someone to be ‘naughty’? Surgery to remove something? Drugs to eliminate the predisposition? There is no practical outcome to this research, so why do it? There is no possible practical outcome because there is no mechanism by which the physical properties of a gene can be shown to cause behaviour of any kind. And for Christians – if a gene can cause badness, then it is genes that cause our goodness, not God. No doubt researchers would like to ‘prove’ that, too, so as to eliminate God altogether! The Thai circus was going full-swing, when the tiny dwarf clown slipped off a balancing wire. Unfortunately for him, a hippo was below, yawning. The dwarf fell headlong into the hippo’s mouth and its swallow action automatically enacted. So, the hippo had an early lunch and the dwarf didn’t see a thing. That’s a true story. Sorry for the dwarf, but maybe there’s a moral in it somewhere…one second you’re on a high, and the next you’re gone? One-Way Freedom… There has always been a stubborn refusal to allow Creation any kind of freedom in schools and elsewhere. Freedom goes only one-way, and it is okay to teach evolution. A judge in California ruled that it was ‘unconstitutional’ to teach creation, because there is separation between church and state. The problem is not really the subject itself, but is about freedom of speech and freedom to advance theories and statements that are not acceptable. It is my belief at this time that Christians should not push hard on Creation until they have obtained freedom of speech. This is how gays have secured their rights! Once we establish our right to speak, then we can start to talk about our beliefs. We must all learn to be more crafty. Put the enemy off guard and then lunge in with the real point. We are fighting spiritual battles, not purely educational ones. Schools will be an important battle-front…let’s stay in the fight! Remember – unbelievers of every hue are already seducing our children. We must fight to get rid of this very real danger by entering the battle!
