M.R.S.A. You’ve all heard about the ‘superbug’ that is merrily killing off pensioners and babies alike in hospital wards. The actual number is kept hidden from the public, but as a nurse I know just how prevalent it really is. Nursing and medical staff call it ‘MRSA’ (methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus). In the run-up to the general election some parties have made exaggerated claims about deaths caused by MRSA…but don’t be misled! The claims may be wrong in actual numbers, but the threat is very real. Make no mistake about it, MRSA is a killer. Everybody usually carries about 10 different types of staphylococcus bacteria on their skin every day. You’ve got them and so have I. It is said that anyone who works in a nursing home probably has MRSA anyway, because of the people who enter the place. At any one time a large number of our Residents have MRSA., preventing their wounds getting better. I can tell roughly when a person starts to die when he or she has wounds that stop responding to treatment and get worse. Of course, they are not taken for post-mortems if they are frail and suffering from a deadly illness anyway. So, the MRSA goes undetected and unreported. But, most of us will be okay so long as we don’t get a wound – a cut can do it, or a gum ulcer, etc. Then, the MRSA bug gets into the body and makes matters worse. For anyone who is frail – whether a baby or a pensioner – it can be fatal, as news reports indicate. Often, we see TV and film celebrities getting it and, if they are fortunate, they come out alive, but after much suffering and maybe operations to put things right. Most ‘Staph’ bugs respond to antibiotics – but MRSA does not. Hence the problem. And, let it be known, that the present government has not only done nothing to combat it, but it has actually had the answer all along and refuse to put things right! The relevant government department knows of a staggering 69 products that kill MRSA…but refuses to use any one of them! That’s right – there are 69 products out there that are proven killers of MRSA…but, instead of using them, they allow MRSA to kill people instead. One must ask why! Being cynical, I wonder if they will announce with triumph that they have found a miracle cure at last…in time to get votes! Maybe not. But it still stands that the answer to the problem is out there, clear as day. The same products are already in use everywhere in the world – but not in the UK. In many larger countries the products have been proven to be safe, but our government is still fooling about with supposed tests and safeguards. Try using that excuse with families who have lost babies or adults through MRSA! One company in Kent, UK, has sold enormous numbers of an air-cleaning machine that guarantees to kill 99.9% of airborne MRSA…to Russia and other countries. But almost none to the UK. Meanwhile over 5,000 die every year of MRSA…and that number is only the number who were tested and found to have the bug! I would much rather suffer a temporary skin reaction than die of MRSA…so what’s the government waiting for? Within 12 months, while the departments responsible ignore all the clearances pronounced for products by other countries, a lot more than another 5000 will die. Will you or I be one of them? If this is not an election issue, I don’t know what is! MRSA has arisen as a serious threat ever since our government brought in private contractors, whose workers have no genuine loyalty to a ward or department. The old-style hospital-employed staff took pride in ‘their’ ward and department, often showing a friendly rivalry by way of spotless environments. By cutting costs we have raised the stakes, causing thousands to die every year. Aquinas Articles Some might wonder why Barry Napier has written a criticism of the work of Thomas Aquinas, the leading Catholic theologian, instead of concentrating on Bible studies. The answer is simple – the articles are about predestination, and the matter of the election of souls is vital for all who preach the Gospel. Roman Catholic theology drives its preaching, and its beliefs on this topic explain to everyone just why Rome is heretical and why it is a cult. That is why Aquinas has been tackled. Readers ought to note that all serious preaching is based on theology – how men think about God’s word. Sadly, Aquinas began with philosophy and mixed it with theology, hence his errors. As we have said elsewhere, the articles are not easy reading, but would bear much fruit if anyone takes the trouble to persevere. After reviewing a sample list of the articles (there are 9 in total), an ex-Roman Catholic seminarian, taught by Jesuits, and now a saved man, has this to say: “They are quite academic and very well done. I am amazed at the scholarship that you have produced. I know of Molinism from my years of study in the Catholic seminary and later in Rome. But, so few would be aware of this attempt to reconcile both free will and God’s free grace that was developed by Luis De Molina. These articles really need to be made known…I thank the Lord for your scholarship and devotion to truth.” Readers ought to be aware, too, that charismaticism, another Arminian-type theology, is a mirror-image of Catholic teaching. Don’t hit out at shadows – here is the real, nitty-gritty, stuff behind all those errors and heresies! (Not easy to read but vital information). It is reported, by the way, that the last pope was buried with a ‘twisted cross’. For information on the ‘bent cross’ read our RC News. The Other side You have no doubt read the horror stories about nursing homes…but have you thought whether they are true or not, or if maybe there is another angle to it all? Whenever I watch the news or read the latest story I can offer an alternative angle, because I’ve been there and done that! I can assure you that the horror stories are just as awful to my staff as they are to TV viewers. The latest story referred to a Home owner charged with ‘cruelty’ by placing a table in front of a dementia resident and tying the table to the legs of the chair. On the surface it sounds terrible – but not to those of us who work with such folk. The alternative is this – the resident has dementia and is known to get up and walk…or totter…when staff are nowhere near. He or she then falls down, and the relatives and inspectors come along and accuse the staff of neglect! On many occasions I wish I could tie some of our dementia residents down to make them safe!! (I don’t). Three nights ago one new resident in a nursing home almost blew herself (and the entire floor) up by smoking whilst still attached to an oxygen set!! The tubing blasted off, leaving her face intact but melting the tubes and burning the brand new carpet. The next night she ignored a carer’s words to stay put until she could come along with a second carer, to put her to bed. As a result she fell and was sent to hospital. The family are now thinking of charging the Home with neglect! Sadly, in our own Home, we have to put up with this kind of nonsense every single day! The system is grossly unfair, for Homes cannot put over their side of the story, which is usually innocent and genuine. Many folk are litigation conscious and the slightest thing will send them to their lawyers! And then everyone will be examined through a microscope and made to look like criminals. All we do is to offer the best care possible, but others want nothing but revenge and a good pay-out. About two years ago a short-stay resident in a nursing home literally threw herself onto the floor. She was examined by two nurses, neither of whom found any problems or injuries. A week later, the inspectors arrived at the Home…the husband, after taking his wife home, said that both her ankles were swollen. He took her to hospital - two weeks later! - and found them both to be fractured. He blamed it all on the Home! (He was known to abuse his wife at home). The investigation is ongoing, though the Home is completely blameless. The husband was observed to guide his wife into their car on discharge, a few days after the fall. There was no swelling or even bruising of her ankles on discharge. And she walked the few steps to the car and got in okay. Strange, eh? The cause of his charges? Money! In another Home, a lady was admitted for a supposed two weeks respite. She was trussed up like a turkey by her husband, in a kind of boiler suit, taped at wrists and ankles. These were undone and when she was put into bed the staff found, to their horror, the biggest area of raw flesh they had ever witnessed! She was raw and bleeding, with no skin at all, from her shoulders right down her back to the back of her knees, and along the sides of her legs! The district nurses had ‘dressed’ the wounds with sticky pads that stuck to the raw flesh. Over six weeks the nursing staff managed to get that flesh covered with fresh skin and she was almost healed completely. On average a total of about two hours, twice a day, was spent by nurses and two carers on the dressings, inventing their own type of dressings because there was nothing large enough to cover the entire area. Other staff spent time trying to get her to eat and drink. The input by staff was enormous and meticulous, because they felt so sorry for the lady. Sadly, she died a few weeks after returning home…and guess what? Yes, the husband (who admitted to tying his poor wife to the bed to stop her scratching her flesh) attempted to sue the Home for negligence!! Fortunately the Home’s documentation system, and witness testimonies, were exceptional and no fault was found, yet, it had to endure yet another investigation. My friends, my job, and the jobs of most nursing home nurses, are on the line daily. We are constantly under threat from litigation when all we have done is to work honestly and professionally. Think about it next time you hear a supposed horror story, from a media who have no idea what truly happens in a nursing home! Nor do they care, so long as they get a good story. Roy Clements This alleged Christian who ‘came out’ as an homosexual, still runs his ‘Christian’ website, struggling to maintain a pseudo-Christian ‘ministry’. He does not understand that his slide down into sodomy has cast him out from genuine Christian fellowship and obliterates any claim he continues to make to being a ‘minister’, let alone a ‘Christian’. In his sad attempts at this, he writes pseudo-Christian literature, with pseudo-Christian meanings and interpretations. Of course, he is supported by…yes, other homosexual groups, also claiming to be ‘Christian’. My opposition to him and those like him is that they have all been counselled and have refused help. Such help MUST turn the man or woman back to God, and this involves a total repudiation of their sin. The sin is sodomy, or misuse of the woman’s or man’s body, for lust or gain. There must be repentance and a turning away from their lust and improper objects of sexual gratification. Not because I say so, but because God says so. These folk insist that they cannot help it. What drivel! There is a deliberate choice of sinful and abhorred practices, hated by God. This is scripture speaking, not me! Yet, Roy and others like him whimper about such measures being ‘oppressive’ and ‘prejudiced’ and the famous (ungrammatical) word coined by sodomists to support their own cause, ‘homophobic’!! In reality, these are people whose lives are sodden in sin, like rags buried in a cess-pit. In return, God says that He has given them over to their lusts. They choose their evil ways and so forfeit God’s active presence and peace. (Yes, all sin does this – but here we are looking at homosexuality). Of course, they all claim to have wonderful lives, fulfilled and complete. What lies! No man or woman who constantly lives by a sinful creed can know these things. They are deluded by their chosen sins and cannot act as rational holy beings. I invite you to look at Roy’s website…and there you will find the usual excuses, abused theology, and completely distorted interpretations of scripture. You will find a news report of a ‘transsexual’ (despite objections, this is just a covered-up homosexuality), with the woeful idea that a man can be ‘trapped’ inside a woman’s body and vice versa! For goodness sake! This is not scientific or medical – it is psychological! It is about a man or woman having sinful thoughts causing him or her to dress inappropriately and maybe then to go on to having surgery, gaining (or losing) bits of anatomy and replacing them with bits of plastic! And they then claim it is normal! With sympathy like that, who needs Satan? Any so-called ‘scientific’ reports that suggest homosexuals are somehow different in their genetic structure are inevitably shot-down in flames by genuine scientists…so don’t be fooled. And don’t be fooled by Roy’s claim that more and more folk are accepting homosexuality. It is a deception based on very limited surveys. The only people I come across who do accept it, are those who claim to be ‘Christian’ and yet deny large chunks of scripture! (This can be done outwardly or by offering wrong interpretations). Roy claims that those who oppose homosexuality are in the wrong…when it is God Who condemns homosexuality! Really, he has a clever mind – but it is now stuck in the mire of the pit that houses homosexuality. He cannot see anything else but his own homosexual desires. That’s why he supports the idea of legally prosecuting Christians who ‘hate’ homosexuals…’hate’ being defined as anything that opposes them! In other words, Roy is acting like a fascist, who wishes to stop folk by using the law. As some of you know, gay groups ruined my college career and ruined me financially. Now they expect me to praise them for being sinful! Please! Frankly, after their disgraceful threats of violence and their hate campaign, I could not care less if they dislike what I have to say. God calls their activities abhorrent, and that is what I say. The fact that I know homosexuals who are ‘nice’ makes no difference to this appraisal. But, Roy can’t take this on the chin, because he must, at all costs, maintain his declared evil. Why? Because he simply enjoys his sin. A phobia is an irrational fear. That’s it. But, of course, homosexuals have to extend the meaning and add bits of their own. So, the ridiculous ‘homophobia’ is now said to mean “an irrational hatred, disapproval, or fear of homosexuality…” Oh dear! What a blunder! It does not describe a phobia at all, but the mind of the homosexual, who wants, at all costs, to shut up all who stand in their way. There is nothing ‘irrational’ in telling people what God says about this particular sin. Nor is it irrational to loathe the often hidden results of homosexuality – AIDS and HIV, and other sexually transmitted diseases that affect the whole population in some way or another, and cost us taxpayers plenty, as well as ruining society. Nor is there any blame on Christians when homosexuals commit suicide or have depression. Both activities are the result of their own sins. There is no doubt that sexual diseases are not restricted to homosexuals – but it is proven fact that, initially, HIV and AIDS in the UK were wholly found in homosexuals. (Proof is in the official government statistics of the time). Well, that’s enough for now. Roy cannot be counted amongst the brethren because of his own sinful adherence to something God calls an abomination. Scripture says that if a sinful person continues in his sin despite many warnings, then we must treat him as an heathen. That is exactly how I now see Roy. He will, of course, shout and argue expertly – but it does not alter his condition one iota. The Jesuit Oath Friends of this ministry have told us that the Jesuit Oath does not truly exist. When ex-Jesuits say the same thing, it makes me wonder. Initially I had a knee-jerk reaction and asked James Waddell to remove it from our website. But, he reminded me that Jesuits are renowned for giving out disinformation! So, whilst our friends are genuine in their belief, are they right? I have looked again at this matter and have produced a paper on it. It is possible that only Jesuits who reach a particular level in the hierarchy have to use the Oath. (In which case the ex-Jesuits are being truthful by saying they know nothing of it). I see from my own studies in Romanism that every level and every different office keeps secrets from every other level and office (see, for example, the secrecy between the various ‘Congregations’, led by cardinals). So, we will, after all, maintain the article, but with a disclaimer. The only ones who really know the truth are those who are in an elevated Romanist position, and they are known for lying to achieve their goals!! For a brief article on this, see RC/008. Tinkers… Guess what some of our local governments are about to do? They are going to give tinkers who grab land illegally, portable toilets and rubbish collection – free. Free to them, that is. Guess who will have to pay for it? That’s right – you and me through our taxes! Local councils think it is the only way they can keep illegal camps clean…but, wait a minute – they are illegal camps! Why not just kick them off the land? In Leeds, UK, they kicked out tinkers and it cost them over £100,000 to put things right again! So, they think it is cheaper to collect the rubbish weekly!! Tinkers have a great laugh at our expense. They make everything into a rubbish dump and then simply move, leaving the rest of us with a massive bill. The field in Leeds contained 70 tons of garbage, including human excrement, dead dogs and a dead horse. And that was after a stay of just five weeks!! The cost of clearing all the illegal sites in the Leeds area will run to millions. That’s money that could pay for local services for genuine citizens. And, on top of that, the council will have to increase local council taxes to pay for it all. This government, of course, advocates giving in to these tinkers, even though their lives cause mayhem to everyone else. They kill, maim, damage and steal. That isn’t a generalisation – it is fact. I should know, as one who once tried in vain to run a caravan park for tinkers! I can tell Leeds council right now, that if they give portable toilets to the tinkers they will ruin them or sell them. And they will still dump rubbish wherever they like. UK Muslim Terror In the past we have been rebuked for saying that moderate Muslims can turn to terrorism, or to its support, if ordered to do so by extremists. This warning has been proved to be accurate recently… 15 masked Muslims broke into a Muslim Council of Britain meeting at the Central London Mosque. They yelled slogans and attempted to punch the secretary general. Police soon threw them out after criminal damage was done. The men were thought to be part of the ‘Saviour Sect’, linked to an extremist cleric. A Muslim Council spokesman admitted that “This group is like a growing cancer…They are a minority in the Muslim community – a danger, not just to wider society, but to Muslims themselves.” A cancer does not just stop – it grows until it kills the host body. We have warned before that moderates will, if pressed hard enough, succumb to the minority who want blood. The extremists are telling Muslims in the UK to boycott legitimate elections. They want to turn the UK into an Islamic state! What a surprise!! We’ve said this for some years now. One UK Muslim website openly says that it will not stop its terrorism until the whole world is Islamic. Whenever we warned of this Islamic desire, even Muslims complained that we were wrong…yet there it is in black and white on an Islamic website. Remember – it isn’t the moderates who bring changes – it is the terrorists. It only took a handful of these violent men to alter the world forever, in New York! The site calls for all Muslims to obey Allah by forcing everyone to submit to him. The same extremist group was behind the seemingly innocent girl who recently demanded that she should wear her Islamic head covering in school…it was no innocent demand at all, but one signal sent out by a terrorist organisation. Extremists have also gate-crashed political meetings held by non-Muslim MP’s. One was warned that the extremists were ‘setting up gallows’ for him and that anyone who voted for him would face a ‘sentence of death’. At BTM we have warned about this growing menace for some years, but who is listening? Islam is not in the best interests of the UK people. We allow it to alter our laws and ways at our peril. As Christians we should allow Muslims to believe as they wish, but also reserve the right to be critical, just as they can be critical of Christian beliefs. But, we stop short at allowing Muslims to rule our country and ways, and to change our laws in favour of Islam. But… It is not all doom and gloom! Our website continues to attract believers and unbelievers alike. Large numbers of papers are downloaded, and a growing number of folk send us eMails thanking us for the content of the site. Because we are not popularists, we do not, however, attract similarly large numbers of donations! But, the very little we thankfully do receive helps us to continue the work.
