When Evil is Praised

On Easter Sunday, I took a few minutes off from preparing the day’s study lesson, to have a cup of coffee. As I sat, I watched the usual scene televised from Rome, a scene depicting the success of Satan in his master-strategy.

The pope sat in his window, waving silently, and I could not help but compare him to that scene in the film epic, el Cid, where the dead hero went out on horseback, fixed to his saddle by wooden supports, so that he would scare the enemy and rally his troops. The pope looked just as dead, like a puppet manipulated from behind.

To add to this picture of a puppet, his secretary of state gave the message, as the pope silently mouthed the words!

In St Peter’s Square, the crowd cried as the man’s head continually nodded because of his Parkinson’s, and they shouted out “Long live the pope!”, praising him for his fortitude and dedication. The emotions shown were genuine.

Now, the pope is dead and another will take his place. It makes no difference who is in Rome leading the flock, for all popes are liars and deceivers. They even deceive themselves. That massive crowd in St Peter’s represent millions everywhere who bow to the pope as their ‘father’, their ‘stand-in for Christ’. They are swept along with Romish pomp and ceremony and threats of never entering heaven, and then praise Satan’s helper, the pope, for taking them to hell!

The pope is not to be praised for his dedication, or for his bravery. Many true preachers of God have done much more in their ministries! The pope was not brave or dedicated; he - and all other popes - was only doing what his ‘father’ the devil, demands. He had no choice in the matter, for he was leader of the greatest deception on earth, and had to do what Satan wished him to do, even to death. Hell will now be his abode, and will prove, too late, that his lifetime work was all useless.

No doubt this will be seen by Romanists and others as an awful thing to say, but it is all true. The pope led an ungodly body and was responsible for deceiving millions. His path is clear, for his end is eternal damnation.

There is, then, no reason to praise him or to shed tears of pity. He is already condemned by his own unbelief and religious delusions. This is not derogatory, but stark fact. The pope is not praiseworthy, nor should he be given dignity or respect. Nowhere in scripture are we called upon to respect what opposes God, but we are to rebuke and warn against it.

As for the ‘bravery’, etc., he is attributed with by the media and Rome…please, let’s be reasonable. The man had Parkinsons and then finally succumbed to a heart attack. Just as he had no choice in his work but to obey his master, Satan, so his body had to obey its conditions. He had no choice! He was not ‘brave’, he had to do what millions with his conditions have to do – get on with it! It doesn’t matter what our illness or condition is – we can either sit down and mope or we can come out fighting and get on with life, limited or not.

Many folk suffer greatly and never have the luxury of a personal physician, or an entire suite in a hospital, or the help of lackeys. Many live not just with disease, pain or crippling condition – they also have little money, no friends to support them, and maybe, if fortunate, a husband or wife to look after them selflessly. For these the struggle is enormous…but they don’t get plaudits from the media. There’s nothing brave about it – they just have to get on with their lot, best they can.

But the pope? He had it all and was backed by possibly the wealthiest organisation on this planet. He did not need for anything, and even had millions of his deceived audience ‘praying’ for him! Most folk with similar conditions have only one room, hardly any money, and possibly one person who cares.

But the ones I know have something far more precious than the pope’s inherent wealth (even if he didn’t use it, he had it) or benefits – they have Christ. The pope did not, and he now awaits judgement day, when he will be assigned to hell. So, please don’t praise the pope, for either his fake religious zeal or his vaunted ‘bravery’! Mary will not be there to meet him – she is destined for heaven, but she is presently as dead as anyone else.

BTM Publications

We have added a large number of articles to our Roman Catholic list, with two series. One describes the machinery behind the massive false religion. The other argues against the thinking of Aquinas, who is the central figure in Catholic thinking. The latter series is not easy to read, but is essential. Interestingly, the arguments against Aquinas also apply to charismaticism. See the leaflet.

Did You Know…

That if a relative of yours has Alzheimers, you will not receive a penny in allowances, because the government does not accept it is an illness? Thus a husband or wife can struggle for many years to look after a loved one, but will get no help. What stupidity is this? Alzheimers is a disease process, as I can testify. Approach your MP about this and demand a new definition!

Aquinas…

I have completed my answers to the teachings of Aquinas on predestination. Not a few Christians were surprised to learn that Catholics teach this vital doctrinal statement.

But, as I hope I have shown in my comments, they do not believe it scripturally, but add ideas that take it beyond God’s word and into heresy, the heresy of Arminanism, which make it uncomfortably close to charismaticism also.

This is because it probably began with Roman theology. (See ‘Aquinas’ leaflet: there are separate articles plus a large document containing all the points,     plus more).

Did you know…

That Henry 8th was the first to be called the ‘Defender of the Faith’ by pope Leo 10th, because he wrote a book against Luther? It isn’t a Protestant title at all, but a Roman one! So, our monarchy is being true to the accolade, after all.

And…

I maintain that the true emergence of Rome as ‘head’ of the churches did not happen until about 300 years after Christ. Though some argue against this, note that the Council of Nicea took place under the Emperor Constantine, and that Rome had a population of about one million at that time! Hence the power of Romish leaders, who overawed others into submission. Not all, but many.

Why So Secret?

As readers should know by now, our objections to asylum are not based on race, or hatred, but on the import of criminals and others who come to this country illegally. In addition to this basic objection is our opposition to giving out state handouts to those who have not proved their status, and who give nothing to the UK in return, when UK citizens themselves are denied the very same help; and we object to making this country an Islamic state by default. These are all valid Christian concerns.

I had a BNP (British National Party) leaflet pushed through my letterbox recently. It claimed that the government produced a secret document in 2001 (Revised Joint Tenancy Agreement), regarding the housing of asylum seekers. It appeared to back-up what we have said ourselves – that asylum seekers are given extensive rights not available to UK citizens, many of whom have worked all their lives, love their country and have done nothing wrong, except maybe be ill, unemployed or old.

At BTM we do not support the BNP or any other party. Whilst we advise all Christians not to vote Labour (because it is socialist and anti-God), we do not actually advise readers to vote for any particular party, because they ought instead to check things out as per Bible. So, rather than simply take the BNP leaflet as correct, we tried to check out the contents with the Home Office and also the Immigration Service itself.

Lo and behold – whilst both had search facilities, each time we tried to access asylum material we were denied access. Why? What is there to hide? The sites contacted did not ask for our name or any other information – so how could we be ‘denied access’ or have pages ‘ forbidden’ because we are ‘not authorised’ to see them?

In effect, then, there are whole public websites one cannot access, though there is a clear invitation to do so! And these are sites paid for by our taxes!! Local councils have to remain silent about ‘seekers’ under the terms of the Official Secrets Act, according to the BNP. Is this correct?

We have asked the Home Office why we have been denied access, but have had no response thus far. The BNP leaflet summarised some of the benefits given to asylum seekers…who appear to be moved around the country at night into rented accommodation under the cloak of darkness…

Rent, council tax, water rates, insurance, electricity, gas and telephone bills all paid for by the taxpayer

The seeker is put at the front of the housing queue

Old cookers are removed and new central heating installed

A brand new 20 inch colour TV is given and we have to pay for the TV licence

The house windows will be cleaned every 12 weeks, again by the taxpayer.

In which way is it ‘unchristian' to query this vast misuse of finances, when they are provided by taxpayers who cannot have the same benefits themselves?

When I had the misfortune to be unemployed I received a pittance of benefits, yet still had to pay my own council tax and other bills. The telephone was cut and, at times, so were gas and electricity! When anything broke down – tough! When I needed clothes or shoes – tough! TV? Huh! Windows cleaned – I did it myself.

I do not mind places offered being habitable and for basic amenities to be offered…but brand new? TV’s? Telephones? New cookers? Window cleaning? Jumping housing queues? Health provisions before anyone else? Remember – the government admits that over 90% of all asylum seekers are illegal!! At least the Tories promise to get rid of the Human Rights Bill…then maybe we will return to sanity!

This government is breaking the back of the UK, not just by forcing us to remain in the EU, but also by taking in thousands of illegal immigrants, many of whom are criminal in intent, and some of whom have deadly diseases AND are working in industries that can help spread them (hospitals and food, for example), and all of whom should not be here. Legal refugees yes – but not illegals.

We do not support the BNP, but if this information is correct, and local councils are being told not to speak, we must ask why. The Bible says a lot about things done in secret! How can a government, elected and paid for by us, turn around and tell us we may not know something about such important issues? They can only do so if what they are doing is suspect and wrong.

If any government agency wishes to extend us the courtesy of information they so readily extend to illegal asylum seekers, we would be most obliged! And maybe they can also advise us why they act in secret!

Politics

Christians ought not bother with politics? Tell that to Joseph, who was something similar to a Prime Minister! And what do you think the judges in the Old Testament were doing? Or the kings, like David? Or even the high priests?

In the New Testament, Paul aimed at the top and spoke with many in high office. They had authority and could influence many.

It is a fallacy prevalent in Christianity, that we should not enter into, or take part in, politics. Yet, how many Christians join unions and become stewards or higher? (I am in a nursing union, for my protection, but I take no active part). Some become local councillors.

Personally, I find the attitude toward politics weak and without any real point. It is true that many in politics are corrupt and sinful. But, to be frank, so are a lot who call themselves Christians and who are in our churches! In usual church life you can come across all kinds of internal politics and political intrigue! So, let’s be realistic.

I find no teaching in scripture that prevents us from entering politics or dealing with it. Even in everyday life each one of us has dealings with politics in its widest sense. The scriptural warning is very clear – we must be a part of this world without being tainted by it. Therefore, if we deal with politics we must do so openly and honestly, from the basis of truth and God’s word.

There is nothing wrong with a Christian acting on behalf of others, for their general good. Look at me – I’m a nurse, and I care for people who, in the main, are not Christians. They do not believe as I do, but I will fight on their behalf, to ensure they receive what is good. Not only is it a witness, but it is required by God.

What is the difference between this and being a politician? If a Christian has freedom to act as a Christian, then all is well. But, if an organisation, including a political party, demands obedience to what is sinful, we must not be a part of it. Really, the position is quite simple!

In my home city, the Tory party have appointed a Muslim as a Tory candidate for Swansea West. I have written (three times with no response) to Michael Howard to say that there is no way I could vote for a Muslim. I have advised that to vote for a Muslim is to vote away my rights of free speech. The candidate is one of the highest authorities on Sharia law, as well as being a top Islamic banker. That means he is not your average Muslim, but is in a position to alter British rights regarding Islam. Therefore, it is not in the interests of a Christian to vote for a Muslim. Indeed, it is not in the interests of anyone to do so!

What if the candidate is Catholic? Strangely, I have no problem with that, because, to date, no Catholic candidate has attempted to stop freedom of speech. Also, we have opportunities to oppose Catholic ideas when they arise…but we can’t do so with Islam.

As for politics being ‘secular’…this is only the position because we have let it become that way. Politics is how a country is run and how it deals with life. That way can be secular or it can be better. To remove all Christian influence is absurd.

Christians?

The heretical Evangelical Alliance polled its one million members about evolution. Only one third said they believed the Adam and Eve account! The rest believed either in evolution or a modified form of it. Are they true Believers? I don’t think so. A man cannot claim to be saved and yet also claim not to believe God’s word.

Rowan Against the Tide of Scripture

The academic archbishop Rowan Williams is showing his true colours. He is to attend the pope’s funeral, and said to the papal nuncio who invited him “I am pleased and honoured”. Poor old Rowan knows nothing of God’s word!

He will be wearing the ring presented to archbishop Ramsey by an earlier pope. (How quaint). Rowan described the pope’s last days as a “lived sermon” and his sugary praises abounded! “(The pope) was a leader of manifest holiness…” of “our brothers and sisters in the Roman Catholic church…” For Rowan the pope was a “beloved Christian leader” and he asked for “God’s blessing” on the coming papal elections.

In such statements Rowan proves himself to be an enemy of God and a blind teacher of the blind. God help him!

Russian Threats

Russia has warned that it will fragment the EU if it does not devise an uniform policy toward this vast country. (Source: EU Observer, 4th April).  Sounds good to me!

The threat was uttered by the Latvian president during an official visit to Sweden. He said that it was a test for the EU, to see if it can come to decisions without reference to the bigger member countries. He has thus driven to the very heart of what the EU is really about – its own power and its ability to force member countries to submit to its rulings, even if they disagree!

It seems that more and more French folk want to vote against the EU constitution. Excellent! But, the French president will intervene.

Greeks will no doubt be very pleased to learn that their taxes will go up, so that Greece can meet EU budget needs!

Failed!

The Incitement to Religious Hatred clause has been scrapped, thank God. Some years ago I remember being contacted by ministries who wanted us to support a tightening of the Blasphemy laws. I could not agree to it, and went so far as to suggest we get rid of this law. The reason is simple – it could be used against Christians! All it needs is a re-definition of the word ‘blasphemy’.

It is my view that religious statements should be allowed to rise or fall according to the beliefs of their supporters. Once the law is brought in to enforce them, there enters the threat of law being used against Believers. All we need is freedom of speech…but even if we don’t have it, we should understand that God is aware.

The USA Experience

The USA has had a long-standing problem with ‘aliens’ who cross the border from Mexico. Like us in the UK, they are forced by law to treat them freely. As a result a staggering 84 Californian hospitals have had to close, being unable to cope with the pressure and the cost. Others nearer to the border are also closing.

And, as in the UK, many of the illegals (note: I use the word illegals because that is the word used by governments) have dangerous communicable diseases that had been got rid of in the USA a long time ago. Now they are back with a vengeance. Why should we have to put up with this kind of stupidity? Be careful who you vote for in the coming election…socialist namby-pambies will bring us down as a nation!

In the USA the number of AIDS patients has doubled in the last ten years amongst the black population…that’s nearly one million. It is interesting to note that the reason given for this sharp rise was predicted by myself many years ago – the availability of powerful HIV drugs!

A similar reason is given in this country for the huge rise in sexually transmitted diseases. These drugs give the impression to the promiscuous that disease doesn’t really matter, because there’s always something available in a tablet to cure them. As always, the only true ‘cure’ is sexual abstinence until marriage, and social stigma for being sinful.

True!

This quote was found on the Calvary Contender website, and it is true: “If churches were functioning Biblically, there would be no need for the contemporary ‘biblical counselling’ movement. Counselling is often a substitute for a church gone wrong…” That is my own view, too.

Another Truth…

(From the same source): “Biblical unity means having one mind, not ‘unity in diversity’…The N.T. faith is not many separate doctrines, but one unified body of truth into which all doctrines fit. There are no ‘secondary doctrines’ we can ignore for the sake of Christian unity…If one is faithful to the N.T. faith, it is impossible to have a wide fellowship…” (From a book by David Cloud).

Charismatics and ecumenicists do well to heed this warning. Note that in scripture the only references to ‘doctrines’ (i.e. plural) is to do with the teachings of Satan!

The Elijah List…

I am writing a continuing series on this cult. In one of the latest newsletters, the founder equates ‘mercy’ with keeping down the price of a book it is selling! “OK, I have to show mercy and hold the Graham Cooke set price the same through this weekend.” What a gross abuse of the word ‘mercy’…and to equate it with a godly aim is appalling…when it is nothing but a marketing ploy to get folk to buy in larger numbers!

Graham Cooke is a leading ‘prophetic’ light amongst charismatics. The founder of the Elijah List often has coffee with him, and Cooke refers to these times as ‘St Arbuck’, linking his fake prophecies with Starbucks, making the ordinary activity of having coffee seem to be some kind of angelic visitation!!

The full CD set promises to ‘speed up’ what God has in store for us. This is an Arminian heresy – that we can do something to make God act faster. Cooke claims that “God likes it when we ‘push the envelope’ “, which he calls “going off our map”. In other words, God likes us to make errors by deliberately moving away from His path. Cooke teaches others that it is ‘good’ to make mistakes and even ‘preferable’, when God ‘works into you’ the ‘prophetic gift’!

Easy Come, Easy Go

Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles, uttered a ‘prayer of repentance’, admitting to their sin of adultery. So, everything’s okay.

What cynical rubbish! Charles and Camilla are unsaved, so their ‘prayer’ is just bunkum. They were lovers when Charles was married, and even when things went public they maintained their relationship. I have noted, through contact with a number of adulterers, that they are more than willing to ‘repent’ – after they have had their way!
