Gloom and Doom?

Amidst all the accounts we present in this newsletter, it might be supposed that all is doom and gloom. I have even been told by someone who does not know me that “I bet your wife screams at you every day and wants to leave you”! Thankfully, she doesn’t, but the writer assumed such to be true because I must be a depressive who cannot see anything bright in this world.

To be more specific, he said this because I had written against a particular heresy. So, he had a vested interest in bursting his spleen on me.

For a while I admit that I felt quite down, following many negative emails and a very long run at work without much time off. This really annoyed me, because, of all people, I know just how sinful it can be to sink into depression willingly. It was only after having a short chat with a former church member that I saw just how pathetic I was being. I repented of this and got on with life, got out a bit more, and all is now back on an even keel!

All believers have so much to be grateful for, including breath in the body. Usually I see all this, but with so many negatives occurring at once I temporarily lost sight of the good that God has done to, for, and in me.

And not only in my own life – it is all around me. Regularly, I receive reports from around the world of this or that Christian being blessed by God.

Bournemouth was the unfortunate town that originally hosted meetings that led to the widespread introduction of the Toronto Blessing to the UK. Yet, out of that mess arose several smaller churches whose members once sat under wrong teaching. Some are so small as to meet in lounges of private homes. These Christians are brave individuals who rely on God’s grace and favour, and they subsequently grow spiritually.

Yes, some of them know a struggle – but at least they are doing God’s will and have honoured Him by coming out of false churches even though they must have lost many friends by doing so.

And, daily, I receive wonderful emails from worldwide friends whose lives have been changed, many from reading our material on the internet. Others say they are blessed by receiving our Sunday lessons. I have even received emails telling me how this or that person has come away from Roman Catholicism or some other cult, or from homosexuality, having read articles on our site.

This is all cause for joy, especially as so many tell me they pray for my ministry. I also have criticisms of course, but as I know my work is of God, they have little effect on me now.

So, I do not live in a little world riddled with doubts and fears, nor do I see doom and gloom everywhere. Indeed, if my critics only knew me, they would see a much different person from the one they think I am! I am very pragmatic and down-to-earth, with a sense of humour. Every day is wonderful, whether bits of me hurt, I am under pressure, someone bashes my character, or whatever! I love it when it rains, or when it shines, and I thank God for everything He has given to me and does through me.

This is indicated in my refusal to become involved in conspiracy theories, which abound in Christian circles. I refuse because no matter what happens, God is in control and there is nothing He is doubtful about. If there is a conspiracy, so what? Will it change my life? Possibly – but even if it does there is nothing I can do about it. And, by their very nature conspiracies cannot usually be proved, so why try?

In this newsletter I talk about what exists before my eyes, and what I can deduce spiritually. There are even things that I know because God tells me so, by His Spirit. So why should I see only doom and gloom?

Gay Police Try it Again!

The infamous Gay Police Association, who threatened us not so long ago, is at it again! This group, like so many homosexual groups, is stridently heterophobic, hating everything that stands for God’s created order of things – an order that finds men loving women and not each other!

This time the Association is screaming about the ministry known as Christian Voice. It shows us just how insecure these people are! They cannot get their own way so they shriek abuse and immediately tell critics that they are being ‘investigated’!! For goodness sake – if they are so sure of their ground, they do not need to throw people into prison or take them to court!! I repeat to the general secretary of that group – “for goodness sake, grow up!”

This latest move, then, is the move of gays who know very well that they are sinners and that what they do is biologically illicit. It is repulsive that this Association is even paid for by our taxes. It is about time that Christians who are able, should make this matter public, for the Association is threatening people left right and centre, but all in secret. They claim that Scotland Yard is investigating those they hate…but when I approached the Yard I was told that it was not the case.

The tactics used by these people are appalling. If they wish to be homosexual that is up to them…but they cannot expect Christians to pay for their awful lifestyle by way of supporting their Association with taxes. As Christian Voice points out, the Christian Police groups are not supported!

I do not trust that homosexual police will deal with fellow gays with proper procedures, but will be sympathetic. I hope I am wrong…but sin has a way of defeating truth at times. As the saying goes, “When good men remain silent…” etc.    

The Home Secretary recently called evangelical Christians ‘terrorists’, so we may have no recourse to his wisdom in this matter – though we should insist on it.

As I have said before, I work with homosexuals, both male and female, and they are all very nice people as far as their work is concerned. But, they are still sinners and whilst I can work with them (because I have no option), there are certain things I must not accept and cannot do. I have noted that they all stick together and help each other.

That is why I do not trust that ‘gay’ police would be without prejudice if they catch gay criminals. And one proof of this basis for mistrust is the way that the Association is so willing to threaten any member of the public who disagrees with them.

We urge all Christians to tackle this matter by complaining to the Home Office and the head of Scotland Yard, for if this group gets full powers, Christians will be stopped from speaking against homosexuality by law. Along with attempts to stop us speaking against cults, this is yet another screw in the coffin that will bury our freedom of speech!

Travellers

In many spheres of life, there are Christians who think it good to help those they think – often with only their own mistaken judgements as a guide - are poor and downtrodden. In this case, ‘travellers’, who weave their way around the UK countryside, wreaking havoc wherever they go.

But, who exactly are they helping? Typically, they help their own consciences, rather than society at large, for they do not distinguish true travellers from tinkers and vagabonds and do not even listen to the word of God, which says much about helping those who He says are condemned.

Speaking as one who managed a fairly large caravan site for a year, I can tell readers that there is much to learn! (Those stories in the media are not hyped-up). The real gypsy travellers had their own money, earned honestly by offering farms their services…welding, gate-making, and so on. The gypsies and their caravans were spotless, and the people lived by an old-fashioned code of honour and respect for the law.

These good folk lived apart from the tinkers, separated by a field! They did not wish to mix with them and did not recognise them as their own. The tinkers? They made the site, which had been landscaped, into a pig-pen! They tore out toilet facilities and sold the fittings, preferring to use the river-bank and wood as their toilet. They tore out electrical wiring, but tapped in to the national grid for nothing, and never paid their rent.

They drove around at break-neck speed in expensive cars, none of which were taxed or insured, and none of them went out to work. Yet, they always had plenty of cash! Every night the police would raid the site looking for murderers, thieves and violent men…labels that easily fitted every man on the site.

They were threatening and evil, always cursing and on the look-out for an easy way to steal and cause mayhem. My wife was so threatened by some, that one of the genuine gypsy leaders had to take them aside and warn them of the consequences of harming either of us.

They did not want their kids to go to school, because they were useful for committing crime…one young boy was pushed through very small openings in buildings, so that the others could enter by the door, which he would open! Overall, the village nearby was threatened and made very unsafe by the presence of the tinkers.

Today, tinkers are buying land cheaply, without seeking planning permission. Then, they reveal their true identities once the sale goes through, and dozens of tinker caravans converge on the site. The result is always mayhem, violence and large-scale illegal activity, for the poor unsuspecting villagers. And the law allows them to get away with it, though councils would tear-down an illegally built dwelling or shed put up by legitimate inhabitants.

When I worked on an industrial estate, the lease-holders of our factory unit had to erect high fencing to keep tinkers out. Though parked illegally, they were not forced to leave, and so a string of thefts, destruction and even arson was the legacy! So brazen were these people that their children, filthy and with even filthier language, would roam right up to the fronts of factories, peering in through windows to see who they might steal from next.

They actually walked calmly up to one of our brand new vans and threw a large boulder at it, damaging the wing to the tune of several hundreds of pounds! Their parents, whose caravan was parked nearby, just laughed and threatened us off from doing anything about it (they had shotguns!). Many factory units were damaged and even set on fire by these people, who also broke in and stole everything inside, including copper pipes, toilets and light fittings.

Recently, a small village was forced to spend a third of a million pounds on legal fees to get rid of tinkers who invaded their land illegally. The true cost is likely to go up to an astronomical £1 million, all paid for by raising local taxation!!! Though it was the tinkers who were acting illegally, it is the poor locals who have to foot the bill.

The tinkers have caused social unrest, stolen from many, and created an atmosphere of fear and violence. The village even had its first murder since they arrived.

My friends, we are talking about people who have no regard for life or property. They are not hard-working gypsies, but tinkers who roam around because by doing so they avoid the police and paying taxes! Their children are already hardened criminals by the time they become teenagers.

Christian groups who love to meddle should find out what they are really doing. Gypsies are legitimate people to help (though they tend not to need it), but there is no godly warrant in helping those who are a law unto their own selves, whose only aim is to steal, kill, maim and harm.

Even more recently, tinkers who bought land and illegally built upon it, and took in about 30 more caravans, were made exempt from normal planning procedures and were allowed to make the field into a caravan site. This, even though the dwellers caused misery for locals, and locals were not allowed to make similar applications for holiday homes.

It seems that the worse you are to society the more you can get! Don’t be fooled by ‘human rights’ and by tinkers who seek pity.

Latest…

In Yatton, Somerset, UK, tinkers brazenly moved their caravans onto land designated by the government as a protected wildlife area, of special scientific interest. They ripped up hedges and poured tons of gravel onto the grass. Then, they erected eight foot tall fencing and installed generators!

The site was sold by auction two weeks ago, and even if the tinkers bought it secretly, they would have been informed that the land could not be used for any purpose, except as a wildlife area.

A spokesman for the tinkers then accused the locals of ‘prejudice’, saying they would fight eviction, though they had so blatantly ignored the law! This is yet another case where those who break the law will get away with it and locals will have to fork out huge sums to get rid of them!

One woman in the village of Cottenham, UK, went to court to complain about tinkers who set up a site without permission. A villager was bludgeoned to death there, by tinkers. She said that her electricity was cut for 12 hours in April this year when a tinker crashed a stolen Ferrari into an electricity pole. At the same time a car was set on fire in the middle of the road by tinker children.

Next day tinkers were speeding dangerously up and down the road for several hours. Next night she was awoken by honking car horns, revving of engines and loud music. The day after that, more revving and dangerous driving, with anti-social behaviour, through the night.

A few days later, another two stolen cars were crashed and left on fire. Next day, a Mercedes van was driven at high speed dangerously up and down the road, the drivers drinking alcohol at the wheel…loud music blasting and horn going. A few nights later, the tinkers held car races all through the night. This is very common for those who have the misfortune to live near such an invasion!

The woman was driven at by a crazy tinker, as she and a neighbour were riding their horses, causing them to bolt. The man got out of his car and threatened them. The police could not do anything because – what a big surprise – the man failed to turn up for interview. Some of the tinkers who drove at high speed were kids of just ten! They then torched the cars. And local children could no longer use a playground because of attacks by the same tinker kids. Tinkers with Mercedes and BMW’s (untaxed) blocked roads and entrances, and threatened anyone who dared to complain.

Another villager said that he no longer shopped in the village, after tinkers attempted to mow-down his family in a shop car-park. In an attempt to move away from all this terror, they have dropped the price of their house by many thousands of pounds, to no avail – no-one wants to buy a house where tinkers roam free!

As usual, in the court case, which is ongoing, the tinkers called the villagers ‘racist’!! Yet, the village has had a harmonious relationship with proper gypsy travellers for centuries. It was only when the predominantly Irish tinkers arrived that everything went haywire. Now the initial 35 families may be joined by up to 5,000 more tinkers!!

The constant call for government (that is, paid for by our taxes again) to provide local sites for these people is appalling. Why should we pay for people who openly act criminally and do not give one cent back through taxation, stealing what they want and attacking innocent people?

I have given this longish report so that Christians are better informed. Do not help those who flaunt their illegal and anti-social activities and disobey the law, bringing misery to all they live near, in many areas of the UK.

The Human Hobbit?

It is known amongst academics that though thought by the public at large to be ethical, honest and logical, scientists can be very silly indeed! The most famous stupidity is belief in evolution.

Generally, theories tend to change with every new bit of data, and fanciful theories are rebuilt, much like the films made by Steven Spielberg! The latest pseudo-scientific novelty is the ‘human Hobbit’.

This bit of silliness centres on a three feet tall skeleton found in Indonesia. The idea is that we have found a new type of human being, or, rather, a link in our supposed evolutionary progress. Have they not heard of pygmies?

Though they only have bones, scientists have already constructed a fanciful creature that stands on both feet and is covered in hair, with a sort-of monkey face. Why can’t these people be real scientists and only speak of what they know? That is, the facts. There is nothing to suggest that the bones belong to a hairy monkey-like creature!

As we have said before, don’t be misled or made anxious by the proclamations of those scientists who hate the idea of God, and who write whole bits of pseudo-science that would not go astray in a sci-fi film script. Nothing they can find w ill depose the Biblical account of mankind.

There were NO pre-humans. Adam and Eve came onto this earth, the first humans, fully as you see humans today, in every respect (except for a belly-button!). And, it is very likely that they were far more beautiful than men and women today, as they had not been ravaged by sin or disease.

Arafat…an Interesting Story

Readers already know what I think about Islam, Islamic terrorists and folk like RT Kendall, a charismatic who shared in the spread of the Toronto Blessing. However, an interesting account came my way about several visits he made to president Arafat.

They are so interesting that I have prepared an article. If you want to read it, just ask for the Arafat article. It also contains some sobering facts about his life and work and a warning not to be gullible or taken in by the false claims to peace.

The Passion of the Christ

In the past I have told our small church that, personally, I do not wish to see this film by Mel Gibson, because it dwells on unmitigated violence. I also believe that the film can affect Christians in many ways, making them less amenable to the truth and losing what truth they already have, bit at a time.

I have just read an article containing a wealth of reference material, published by The ‘Better Than Rubies’ ministry, that tackles this film…the contents of which might shock you. However, it more than substantiates my inner disquiet with this film. It is similar to the disquiet I had about the then new Toronto Blessing. But, few Christians listened to me then, either! As a result those who have seen it may suffer the consequences.

Basically, we should not go to unsaved film-makers to bolster our faith, or to project a twisted version of evangelism that we use as a means to an end (which is Arminian in concept!).

The ministry has graciously allowed us to reprint this article (having asked us to provide a shortened version) and I urge you to read it, and do not go to see the film, for even secular critics have called it ‘pornography’!

If you have already seen it, I suggest that you reconsider your conclusions if you thought it was a good idea. (See ‘The Truth About the Passion of the Christ’ Film.’ Article Ref. A/198)

If necessary, repent and cast out all thoughts that the film caused in your mind. No, I’m not joking and I’m not trying to foist a false idea on you. From what I can see, the film can have many adverse effects, both spiritual and mental.

EU Students

The EU, a social and economic steamroller with malice, is costing the UK a fortune. When I was a student I was given a small grant and had to supplement my income with working every spare moment I had. Now, the EU is trying to force the UK to give grants to students who come from another EU country, increasing our expenditure by many millions!

We can expect at least 100,000 a year to come to the UK from the newer eastern EU countries, looking for work and benefits, not counting the countries who still wish to join. They all want to come to the UK because of the outlandish benefits system and the sycophantic way our Labour government willingly jumps every time the EU whimpers. I repeat – as a country we are not just handing over our rights to a foreign power, but we are bringing economic collapse upon our own heads. All because fat-cats want a share of the huge income promised to them.

It is obvious that eastern countries’ students will choose the UK because of this, knowing that EU law will ensure they receive a good income and help with expenses, all from our taxes, yet again! Readers might think I am being very repetitive about our taxes, but taxes are our lost income! It is money being taken out of our wages, whether we like it or not, to pay for schemes that can be very sinful indeed. And the more we pay the deeper we get into personal strife.

Prayer

Some might know that we produced an article on prayer meetings some time ago. This is now incorporated with amendments in my new book on Reformationism. But to date I have not written material on prayer itself, though some tend to think that the prayer-meeting article covers the subject.

I watch in sadness as so many churches everywhere still maintain their rota of prayer meetings every week, though such meetings have no basis in scripture. The Bible only speaks of sudden, impromptu, Spirit-led prayer meetings, occasionally held, for very specific reasons.

So, I watch as church members dutifully attend their prayer meetings, without God’s actual prompting. They insist that they must do it and reject claims by Christians such as myself, even though our Biblical research into the matter is exhaustive and completely scriptural! So, they ‘pray’ without thought for their actions, all uttering things that God has not asked them to utter, and persistently ‘chatting’ to…who? God? Or to themselves?

They are being ‘empty vessels’ making a great deal of noise, without purpose or godly intent. How can it be godly, when God does not give any warrant whatever for modern prayer meetings in His own word? If God does not authorise them, what are these people doing? They are wasting their time, chatting for the sake of it.

My friends, I do not apologise if this seems rather blunt. I believe that those who continue in this way are missing real opportunities to pray, given by God Himself. They are so busy doing whatever they wish to do, they miss what God wants them to do. This MUST be the case if modern prayer meetings are not God’s will!!

This weird insistence on regular prayer meetings is very Arminian. Do not fool yourselves into thinking otherwise. They are Arminian because they are rooted in our own desire to get God to do something for us, because we pray for it. We make our demands, even though God has never asked us to pray for them in the first place.

We also think that if we meet regularly we are being, somehow, more godly. How can this be, when regular prayer meetings have no basis in scripture or in faith itself? It is all just so much superstition.

So, friends, blunt though this is, I urge you all, if you attend these meetings, to beware. It is my view, based on the testimonies of thousands, that the Toronto Blessing overtook the churches precisely because of their adherence to traditions and unworthy practices, coupled with bad teaching. Christians were in a very poor spiritual shape – Satan could not have been so bold unless this were so! And it is worth mentioning that prayer stalwarts were some of my worst attackers!

At that time I warned Christians that another wave of Satanic delusion would soon be unleashed on the world. From the many reports I read of charismatic activities, and of the massive success of Alpha, I can assure readers that the wave will not be long in coming.

With urgency, I ask Christians to prepare themselves. That includes stopping their irrational reliance on self-made meetings, such as those for ‘prayer’ when God has given no mandate to hold them. The more bad practices we follow, the worse becomes our spiritual state! Pray together by all means – but ONLY if God has brought you all together with the same mind and heart, for the same precise and singular reason to pray. If you do not see what I am saying, or cannot accept it, then your condition is not good and I ask you to read the article on prayer meetings.

Dr Peter Masters wrote a counter-article, enthusing about prayer meetings. Sadly, his words misused scripture and his arguments did not hold water (see my critique of his booklet). Even sadder are those thousands who continue to follow his example and ‘pray’ when there is nothing to pray about and their ‘prayers’ are sent into thin air.

To ‘pray without ceasing’ does NOT mean to chatter aimlessly in a group! Please, if you are a prayer meeting attendee, think twice, for God does not tolerate foolishness or bad practices and beliefs.

Far better to pray for each other and for other needs impressed upon us by the Holy Spirit in private, as Christ Himself taught, than to be as the Pharisees, praying in public for all to hear, aimlessly and with only pride as their reasoning.

AGAIN – BEWARE! DO NOT CONTINUE SOMETHING THAT HAS NO SCRIPTURAL WARRANT. (Ask for our article on the subject: ‘False Prayer’).

Muslim – Yes; Christian? No!

Christians who have applied for radio station licences are often turned down. Yet, Muslims applied for one and got it right away. Indeed, 33 licences were issued so that Muslims could broadcast over Ramadan. (The short-term licences cost £84 a day and Ramadan lasts for 28 days).

The government wishes to appease Islamic groups after the Iraq war. So, Muslims can push their wares to the UK without a problem, but Christians are denied the same courtesy and right.

Meanwhile, the Eden Project in Cornwall, named, ironically, after the Garden of Eden, has banned any mention of Christmas at its facility. The excuse is that the Project is not ‘faith based’. Yet, its leaflets gladly highlight the beliefs and festivals of false faiths. Instead of referring to ‘Christmas’ the organisation lists it as the ‘Time of Gifts’!

There is far more at stake than the word ‘Christmas’. Most readers know that we do not celebrate Christmas, because it is not a scriptural requirement. But, the Eden Project, like so many other organisations and councils, etc., are trying to shun, ignore and obliterate all reference to Christianity itself. That is, anything that speaks of God and His word.

It is my suspicion that those who make these decisions do so unilaterally, like power-crazed despots. They do not believe in God and so they foist their own unbelief and sin onto others below them.

The Dean of Truro commented that what offends people of other faiths is the claim (made by groups such as the Eden Project and local councils) that they will be offended by the faith of others!

Labour is Labouring!

Here I go again about our taxes! Please remember that when government talks about its spending and its income, it is referring not to money it has of its own – but about money we give them through our taxes! That includes the vast sums the Cabinet have awarded themselves as pensions whilst pensioners can hardly manage to live at all.

This government is spending almost £2 billion a year on private consultants, in an effort to push through their policies and reforms. The opposition have no such endless pot of gold to use in its defence, so Labour can do whatever it wishes on the backs of our taxes. How can the so-called part of the people give £2,000 a day to men in pinstripe suits, when all they offer is duping of the public into accepting Labour’s monstrous decisions?

Proof Available

I have no doubt whatever that some who read this newsletter (and the total is many thousands) think that I am making up some claims. This also applies to the claim that TB is making a comeback in the UK after many years of no cases, because of the huge increase in asylum seekers. I am accused of being alarmist and racist and…well, hateful.

But, I know the facts! I was alerted to the truth when my present matron started work. As an ex-health visitor, she was privy to insider information. She told me that at one time asylum seekers were screened for TB at the airports and ports. But, the machines used for the purpose broke down and were never repaired. So, now, people with TB and many other horrendous diseases come in to the UK, causing long-gone diseases to re-emerge.

Health visitors were assigned to visit individuals and whole families who entered the country illegally, to check on their health status. Because the government decided to spread out these people around the country, the diseases were carried with them. But, when the Health Visitors attempted to find them, they suddenly disappeared! And so TB is now growing rapidly. This fact has been recently reported in the Daily Mail (23^rd October 2004).

Another person, a teacher of food hygiene, told me that asylum seekers from certain countries also bring in typhoid and a number of diseases that are passed on by handling food – yet, many are employed, often illegally, in the food industry as well as in restaurants! We are building a massive health bomb for ourselves!

In an effort to make at lest some difference, I redesigned and reworded the employment application forms our Home uses. It specifically asks if the applicant has come to the UK recently and if all medical tests have passed them as completely fit and free from certain diseases such as TB, typhoid, etc. Before I introduced this new form, we had many applicants. Now, almost no ‘refugee’ has bothered to send in the completed forms, let alone become employed. The assumption is very simple – they have the diseases specified.

You might think this is racist – but it has nothing to do with race. It is to do with disease and the fact that we deal with very frail and ill people. We cannot, on their behalf, be politically correct and let them be put at risk.

Most doctors have not even seen the signs of TB, which shows how blessed the UK has been for many years. One little girl appeared to have a pimple on her neck. It grew to an infected lump, which the GP thought was an infected hair follicle. It grew to the size of a ping-pong ball and so a biopsy was done. To the amazement of all, it was an infected TB lesion.

That was an ordinary white girl, who was fit and healthy. But, mixing with asylum seekers, she was infected. Now, every year since the Asylum fiasco first started, a huge 7,200 in the UK get TB. Of these, 400 die. Now 7 out of every ten cases arise amongst ‘ethnic minorities’ and almost two-thirds were born overseas. In other words – asylum seekers who enter the UK without proper checks.

Just as the UK is the top place for asylum seekers to aim for, so the UK is becoming the TB capital of the world, according to official figures, beating well-known centres of the disease such as Brazil, Romania, etc.

To add to the problem, there is now a super-strain of TB that does not succumb to treatments. Let us be open about this – the upsurge is caused by our own government, which gladly jumps whenever the EU barks a command. We are told to take in every Tom, Dick and Harry, so we do!

The result is economic disaster, social breakdown and a deteriorating health situation. And, once again – all paid for by our own taxes!! Like the poor unfortunates in Nazi death camps who were forced to dig their own graves, so we in the UK are paying for our own doom. When will we wake up? My own warnings about electing the present government was, as usual, seen as scaremongering. But, even I am shocked by the facts we have before us today.

A prison health worker says that one in 20 inmates has the virulent form (untreatable) of TB. They are supposed to walk about with face masks on. But they do not, and so we “face the possibility of an epidemic.”

A GP in the London says “There’s no doubt that TB is being fuelled by the increase in immigrants. It is clear that is the case and it is not racist to say so.” And that comes from an Indian doctor who was himself an immigrant 20 years ago (legally)!

He continues, “Everyone arriving in Britain, whether a refugee or incoming British holiday maker from parts of the world where TB is virulent, should be screened before they enter the country. America and Australia have introduced mass screening. It is a system that works.”

The UK’s Chief Medical Officer admits: “The disease has regained the upper hand.” Ridiculously, he says that the aim is to cut incidents and finally eliminate the disease. It is ridiculous because TB had been dealt with many years ago! It is this man’s own government employers who brought it back to the UK, through their foolish EU obedience!

TB is no longer found just amongst the poor –it is being found in richer folk in good areas. In London, 7 people a day are being diagnosed with TB! Immigrant areas are the ‘hottest’ spots for TB.

The disease is spread by coughing, sneezing and spitting and is well-established in victims before it is diagnosed. It is sad that so many foreigners have such diseases, but we do not help anyone by making our own people susceptible to them as well!

The head of the World Health organisation adds that given the insane free movement of people around the world (including immigration), he expects that virulent and sometimes rarer forms of disease will spread very rapidly in the future. Where, then, is the sense in allowing such a free movement to the UK? It is not just foolish – it is criminal!

The Daily Mail remarks that “In the politically correct world of the modern NHS, open discussion about what is causing the rise of TB is avoided for fear of being ‘racist’”

But, what does our government say? The Institute of Public Policy Research (set up by Blair) says that the setting up of mass screening for all immigrants would be ‘morally wrong’! For goodness sake – how can the saving of lives and the eradication of disease be wrong? The same kind of stupidity also surrounds the eradication of AIDS.

Though some experts think it wrong to attribute TB to immigrants, they nevertheless admit that it is ‘imported’ by them. In other words, TB comes in with them! It has cost half a million pounds to treat just one woman with TB.  To say it would be ‘immoral’ to do mass screening is an absurdity!

Then we have a final chilling tale…a nurse took a two year old girl back to her father in Lincolnshire, UK, after successful treatment for TB in London. As she handed over the baby to her father, he cleared his throat and spat TB-filled sputum onto the ground. He works in a large food factory that packs salad for three of the UK’s biggest supermarket chains! Should we be scared by this? Yes. We should! All of this is in the hands of the people, so why do we vote-in those who would do us harm for the sake of clinging to the EU and being politically correct?

Maxine Carr

When child-killer Ian Huntley was jailed, his girlfriend Maxine Carr received a great deal of sympathy, even from Christians. She was let out of prison early to be given a second chance – even though Huntley’s victims had no chance whatever.

Then, when she was shunned by those who discovered who she was, do-gooders were on her side. So, what now? It has been found that she has been writing to Huntley, telling him that she wants to get back together with him! So much for her being a changed person! Huntley has also admitted that she urged him to burn the bodies. What’s wrong with Christians and others who are so taken-in by experienced liars?

The Prince & Paupers

Good old Prince Charles has been in trouble again, after daring to suggest that people should not try to rise above their station.

Inevitably, baying hounds were immediately going for his jugular, and the PC lot shouted in horror that such an old-fashioned attitude should exist today, when everyone has opportunity to make good.

But wait! Why is this happening? When I was in college training to be a teacher, part of our course was to understand the ‘law’ that states that 80% of all successes are down to just 20% of all people. It says that out of 100 people, only about 20 will get anywhere or do anything.

In schools, I saw this with my own eyes, as the majority of kids just fooled around or did not bother. A very few struggled to do something with their lives. I witnessed just a handful who wanted to rise above their circumstances or given slot in life. The rest were quite happy to string people along, or to get out of school quickly to get money. The fact that this would forever put them in a condition of disadvantage did not concern them.

 In colleges, the same occurred. I took many classes in which the majority were ‘coasting’ because it was the only way they could get some cash out of the government. Their ‘studying’ was a joke and they could not have cared less whether or not they passed exams. They were just playing the official game! Literally one or two wanted to make something of their lives. Charles, then, was quite right!

And before Christians accuse me of being uncharitable…did you know that scripture says exactly what Charles said? It tells men not to rise above their stations and to accept their place in society. Yes, it’s true.

Friends, you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink. You can give people the best of everything and the most opportunities, but you will find that very few will take advantage of it. So, they remain as they are, and later moan because others earn more and get somewhere. That’s life.

Charles, though with a few odd thoughts, generally is very astute in his views. But, unlike so many, he is not particularly PC. Good for him!

Governmental Thuggery

In a stupid bid to tackle school thugs, the government is going to force successful schools to take in disruptive or violent pupils! Can you fathom the thinking?

There are also fears that this policy will lead to faith schools taking in children of other faiths, and grammar schools admitting pupils of lower ability. Knowing this government such fears are well founded. From experience I know how much disruption is caused by just one unruly child. The result is the total disruption of all the children, whose overall education suffers badly.

This is all the fault of socialist education thinkers who insist that everyone must ‘have a chance’ and that no-one should be told they have failed. What a farce! If no-one fails, why should anyone bother at all?

It is the kind of thinking that brings about mediocre church folk. They just amble along in their beliefs and practises, content with their non-active faith, because no-one in their churches says anything to the contrary. Such folk are a real hindrance to progress and to the general spiritual health of churches. They would not have lasted five minutes at the time of Paul, whose expectations were far higher than anything we now know.

Who Benefits?

A mother of six was evicted from her council house recently, accompanied by cries of consternation from some. But wait…despite receiving state benefits, her home was a palace, with a heated swimming pool, plasma TV’s, expensive soft furnishings…you name it and she had it. The authorities found that she had been living off the proceeds of crime, and even had thousands stashed away in cupboards.

Typically of her kind (yes, I mean ‘her kind’), when she had the eviction order, she and her family ripped out everything they could take, including light fittings, doors, fireplace, kitchen cupboard doors, floors…everything! Then they disappeared.

Believe me, there are many on state benefits who are the same. I have met quite a few of them. They drain the state dry, pretending to unemployed, or sick, or disabled. By doing so, they reduce what is available to those who are genuine.

One woman, who worked in the UK Department of Employment, used her inside knowledge of benefits to her own advantage. With seven children, she took a career break for a while. But she reasoned to herself that she would be better off on state benefits, by about £3,000 a year. So, she calmly resigned in order to get the benefits.

Her job only paid her £12,000 a year, but state benefits for family support raised this figure to a massive £32,000 a year! By giving up her job, she now has £35,000 a year. I can see how some will refuse work because benefits are greater – but to resign from work for greed is not acceptable.

She was receiving a huge sum because she chose to have so many children…children paid for by…yes, our taxes. Her annual income, even in work was way above what I earn, and others earn, for working solidly all week, work that is far more responsible and requiring intensive training and education. Frankly, I find it galling.

And what about the family that was evicted from their council house for being drug dealers, only to be given rooms in a guest house costing £2,500 a week? This was demanded by the law!

Then there was the mother and five children who caused so much mayhem in their street, they were kicked out of their council house…only to be taken to a Travelodge hotel (which must have seemed like luxury after they left their own den of iniquity) costing £9,000 over 13 weeks. The mother plays music loudly and shouts about the way she has been treated!

Wish I was in charge of the law in this country? You betcha!

Watch This Quango

It is odd how a quango, which is supposed to be an unofficial body, can have so much power. The newest one, again reflective of what socialism is really like, will have “sweeping powers to fight racism and other forms of prejudice”. You read above our warnings about the Gay Police Association. Now take warning about this quango. Called the Commission for Equality and Human Rights, it will enforce what the government wants, a government that is not a lover of Christians or God, that will do all it can to eradicate Christian influence.

Observers have already warned, as we do, that this body will quickly stop freedom of speech and democratic rights, just as the EU has forced us to accept what is sinful and immoral and bad for us.

It has been given specific powers to outlaw discrimination on grounds of religion and belief. So, there goes our freedom of speech! The new body will initiate investigations into any group or organisation that speaks out against cults and homosexuals, for example. It will also frown upon evangelism that criticises the beliefs of another.

Promoting human rights will include protecting and encouraging tinkers and gays. Interestingly, the same Centre for Policy Studies mentioned earlier has said “This is quite frightening and contains the seeds of totalitarianism…In the wrong hands…it will have all the powers it needs to perpetrate serious abuses and act as a suppressor of freedom of speech.”

We can tell you right now, that this body will champion homosexuality and those who do harm to society, and it will do-down Christians. Again we say – be careful who you vote for, and oppose actively all who would deny us freedom of speech.

The Elijah List

We have an ongoing article on this cultic group. It is ongoing because I add to it every now and again. In a recent message sent to me, Steve Shultz, who runs it, said, “We enjoy posting (the messages) when prophetic words come to pass”. What?

What about when they don’t come to pass? I have read other ‘prophecies’ issued by this group and they are so trite. They remind me of the way spiritualists claim authenticity for spirit messages that detail minor and totally irrelevant things, like the colour of a shirt, or the pet name for a husband!

Do they really think God is so petty as to try to persuade us that it is Him speaking? By giving us party-trick details? Of course not – yet here is a group that claims to utter prophecies as though they were coming out of every pore of every person in the group, every single day! It is pathetic.

One favoured ‘prophet’ talked of the temperature changing and suggested that it meant there would be a spiritual change in the land. He then went on to claim that the recent plague of locusts that infested Israel recently, and that was killed off by a sudden cold spell, was fulfilment of the ‘prophecy’!

Firstly, what was the point of the prophecy? It had nothing much to do with anything. There was no spiritual element to it, and even the ‘prophet’ applied a meaning that contradicted his own suggestion!

So, secondly, I repeat the first question – what was the point of it? What effect did the ‘prophecy’ have on Israel? What was Israel meant to do about it? They did not even know about the ‘prophecy’! Read the article for more details. I am constantly amazed by the weird and wonderful claims made by false prophets such as these. I am even more amazed that so many gullible people exist who serve to feed them!

False Blair

It has emerged that Tony Blair threatened to throw out Gordon Brown if he did not back his move to join the EU single currency. Blair was furious that his second-in-command would not allow him to become the (infamous) prime minister to historically hand over Britain as a gift to the godless entity!

Blair is as false as they come. He is sending out two different Christmas cards this year – one with ‘happy Christmas’ on it, and the other with just ‘happy new year’, so as not to offend non-Christians (i.e. Muslims). His list of falsities grows by the minute – it’s about time the country got rid of him, before he does even more damage.

I am often shouted-down when I say that our government officials, national and local, should be honourable, truthful and beyond reproach. But this is God’s plan. “thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place (such) over them, (to be) rulers of thousands, (and) rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens…and all this people shall go to their place in peace.” (Genesis 18:21-23).

On Truth…

I can put up with a great deal of nonsense and the foibles of others. In my place of work I put up with them – including their personal stupidities. I do so because, overall, they comply with the work schedules they are given and, despite their many failings, they are good workers. If they lie on occasions, I put up with that, too, because I know that though I might demand better, those who are unsaved are more subject to their sinful natures.

I also put up with a lot from fellow Believers who, while accusing me of this or that failure, do not see their own failings. I put up with them because they are my brethren, despite any failings they have, and I know that they must hear the truth.

Even so, I urge you all, my friends (and even those who do not call me their friend) – when you find those who teach and keep the truth, stick closer to them than to anything else you can name.

In coming days it is this sticking to the truth, over and above any other consideration, that will keep you safe. 

My thoughts are the same as we find in 3 John 1:4 “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.” It is a sad fact, though, that many today prefer to walk on their own paths, even without scriptural support.

Remember – the next wave of charismatic heresy will strike soon. If you do not stick with the truth, you will fall.
