Watch Out – More Scams!

All readers probably are aware of the scams sent to people over the Internet. They are sent from Nigeria by people pretending to have millions of dollars in an account they can’t access. They promise you a cut of the pie – often at the million or so mark – if you will only help them get the money out of the account. The result is being ripped off and losing all your money.

Christians are seen as soft touches by everyone, including confidence tricksters. So, here’s a warning about the most recent scam that supposedly emanates from Dubai…

The writer is a 72 year old widow with breast cancer, who says she is a new Christian convert! Her physical condition is deteriorating and she wants to distribute her wealth to a number of ministries that cater for evangelism. Her husband was killed during the Gulf war and her son was butchered in a ‘blood bath’. Quite heart-rending stuff…until you get to the money bit, which is a replica of so many other scams!

The woman says she has visited our website, amongst others, prayed about it, and decided that God was telling her to contact us. (If she had looked at even the first page of our site, she would have discovered that our main ministry is not evangelism but doctrinal teaching!).

She is willing to give us – wait for it - $10 million!! Now comes the catch…the money is held by a European security company. This is followed by a request for prayers for her well-being. Then comes an invitation to contact her attorney in France.

My friends, this is a scam!! If you had money to give to our ministry, you would simply send it. But, in these scams, the unfortunate sucker, drawn by the possibility of receiving a huge fortune for nothing, will contact the ‘attorney’, give bank account details of his ministry, meet somewhere in France to sort out the ‘deal’, then wait in vain for another meeting, and finally discover that the ministry account has been wiped out.

I have noticed over the years that Christians leave themselves very vulnerable to deceit, and they will not check out scammers or anyone else, preferring to believe everything they are told, which is against Biblical principles. They will pay out to anyone who asks for help, and so become easy targets. Giving to all and sundry is not a Christian or Biblical thing to do. When we give to those who despise God, or who act criminally, we do them no favours. And those who truly should be helped do not get it, because we have already given away our cash to those who should never have received it.

I have already talked to some about the way one church I used to attend opened a soup kitchen. The helpers, genuine and eager, were over the moon when down-and-outs started to come by the dozen for ‘help’. Each one asked for a bible. This was positive proof that God as at work!

Sadly, those kindly folk were scammed! The down-and-outs ate the food and drank their tea, and gratefully accepted a Bible. The helpers did not know that the Bibles were not read at all – they were ripped up for cigarette paper! The scammers realised that Bible paper was thin and right enough for rolling their own, and so the church quickly ran out of Bibles, provided by members’ hard-earned money.

Anglican vicars are also favourite targets for such scammers, who turn up day or night at vicarage doors, demanding help. Christians need to be far more ‘hard-nosed’ about who they give to, otherwise they will give wrongly and help some to enter even deeper into criminal activity or deceit and immorality.

Roy Clements 

Folk who sin and fall dramatically often try to cover their shame by boasting. Another way is to attempt to make critics seem inadequate or stupid. It is their clumsy way of hiding from the spotlight.

Roy Clements, whose mind was, at one time, quite fine, but is now perverted by his own heart, resorts to the same kind of behaviour. Look at his website and you will be hit in the face by his homosexuality, not scripture. He is still trying to convince others of his theological prowess, but fails miserably. See for yourself.

In his site he said that he would ‘have to write a book’ to answer his critics properly (re his homosexuality). I pointed out that if he did just that, he would be unable to sustain his arguments, because scripture openly condemns what he is doing no matter how fluent are his words.

Instead of defending his position, he told me that I did not know as much about hermeneutics as I thought I did! This comes from a man who ruined his life by choosing to act homosexually!! With the usual erroneous thinking of a man besotted with his Biblically-illicit sexual habits and desires, he writes apologetics for his favoured sin, twisting scripture to suit his agenda. Then, when challenged, he retorts with a silly statement.

Hermeneutics usually precede exegesis, and involves not just the meanings of unsure texts, but also what the Holy Spirit is revealing to the teacher. Roy’s own work is powerless and useless, based as it is on his sexual sins. The Holy Spirit is not with him, and is certainly not in his ministry. God will not favour a man who openly defies His word concerning a gross sin. Therefore, when Roy tells me that I have a wrong view of hermeneutics, it is to be treated with utter contempt.

Roy Clements’ only friends today are fellow homosexuals and badly misled Christians. He no longer has a place in the true Church’s life and activities, even if he attempts to portray himself as ‘successful’ in his own narrow world.

I have much time for Christians who struggle with their temptations. But Roy succumbed to these in a big way, in public, thus casting God’s words into the face of the Creator.

He did not repent and has not turned away from his evil, but goes much farther in his sin by trying to convert thousands to homosexual thinking. For that reason his words are treated with both scorn and suspicion by all who truly love God.

Each one of us must be driven by love of God and men. But when men flout God publicly and parade their sins before the world, calling them ‘good’, that is the time when help from fellow Christians ceases.

Roy, who is now a sad, diminished, shadow of his former self, ruined by his own sin, may well be a big noise amongst his fellow sexual offenders (offenders according to scripture), but he is as nothing before Almighty God, being spiritually excommunicated if not formally so. Who am I to judge in this way? A sinner. And I hope that if I ever sin to the knowledge of others, that they will judge me and try to guide me back to what is good and true.

I am regularly asked, via the Internet, why I seem to centre on homosexuality and Arminianism. The answer to both queries is very simple…the two topics are prevalent and increasing. No other reason. I do not have a ‘thing’ about them.

On the point of homosexuality…I am intrigued by the fact that the more ‘outward’ homosexuals, who flaunt their perversion, are actually loathed by the other, quieter, homosexuals, because they draw attention to their lifestyles.

Over the years I have discovered that many homosexuals are of the quieter type. The ones I have met are just as professional in their jobs as anyone else, and, in the caring sector, they are usually far more compassionate. Such men and women sadden me, because of this.

Their lifestyles are sinful and we must say so, but without hatred or anger. Their sins are vile – but as people they come to their sexual choices by a number of different routes, and express them differently. This is why I will review articles I have written previously, to see that my approach is appropriate and accurate.

But Arminianism is another kettle of fish! I know that there are many other ‘isms’ in the churches that cause havoc, but Arminianism is currently the ‘biggy’, for it spans Romanism and charismaticism and has even made inroads into the reformed churches. This heresy must be blasted full-force!

Animal Rights & Paganism

Christians have a certain affinity with those who wish to keep our planet free of pollution. We also tend to treat animals better than some who do not know God. But, we must take care not to overdo the ‘touchy-feely’ kind of ideas currently gaining ground.

One of these is the way-off-beam animal rights people who are willing to kill people and destroy property in order to draw attention to the ‘rights’ of animals. It is true that some experiments on animals are brutal and disgusting, especially if done for reasons other than the most needful of human welfare. But to murder, plant bombs and destroy, goes far beyond what is decent and necessary.

Their actions are not those of ordinary men and women. They are pagan in origin, as are the beliefs and activities of many ‘save our planet’ hard-core groups. A growing number see plants, insects, animals, etc., as part of a vague ‘divinity’, and are more than happy to let that ‘divine being’ be either personal or impersonal…so long as everyone else toes their party line. If not, then the ‘divine’ inside them prompts them to kill, maim and destroy!

It is to paganism that we can attribute the modern Anglican push to have women priests, for these same folk believe God is both man and woman! All talk of ‘Mother Earth’ and a female ‘God’ is pagan, not some cuddly feeling for nature.

The ideas concerning ‘global warming’ come from a similar source. For years, scientists have been sceptical that there is any global warming at all…the latest being David Bellamy.

It is important to get this right, because vast sums are being diverted to combat the ‘threat’, even though scientists cannot provide real proof that warming is occurring at all! And belief in such a ‘threat’ makes governments alter their laws on vehicles and use of fuel. Environmental laws are being added at a tremendous rate, and all are based on speculation that the earth is being harmed.

Evolution, too, is a part of all this, and is really a form of paganism, in which all creatures are seen as equal partners – hence monkeys are our ‘closest relatives in the animal kingdom’. Far from valuing all creation, then, paganism really devalues human beings, by making them equal to animals and even plants.

Pagans now talk in terms of karma and ‘energy’, and dismiss the concept of sin and the reality of a personal Satan. Everybody can believe and do whatever they wish, so long as they ‘do not harm anybody’.

People are seen as individual ‘gods’, who can believe as they see fit, according to their own revelation. This is alive and well in charismatic circles, too!

So, be careful how you respond to the issues we have highlighted here, and how you respond to calls for help by environmental groups. They are not what they seem, and you might easily fall into a trap by aiding paganism.

Palestine

In almost all news items, it is Israel who is cast as the ‘baddy’ and Palestine who is shown as the ‘victim’. There is plenty of evidence that the media is prejudiced toward Israel.

But, there is presently a fundamental shift in the country, for ordinary Palestinians are openly declaring their anger against Arafat and his terrorists, and against internal corruption.

Yet, Arafat continues in his single desire to obliterate Israel. We ought to remember this basic fact – Arafat and his Muslim extremists do not want peace. They simply want Israel to be removed from the face of the earth. To do this takes genocide and war. And that is why Israel defends itself.

Children in Palestinian schools are taught from entry to be terrorists and to hate Jews, with every fibre of their being. Any wonder that they viciously loathe Israel? Arafat puts his whole effort into this destructive venture against Israel, and has forgotten the well-being of his own people.

Now that Israel has removed its people from Gaza, the various Muslim factions are fighting to gain control, just as is happening in Iraq. It is obvious that the strict Muslims, the violent ones, are out to be top-dogs, so that they can impose their evils on everybody in the country.

The same thing happened in African states vacated by European countries that once ruled them. The result in almost every case has been continuous violence and a rapid decline into brutality, disease, sectarianism, war and economic ruin, at the expense of their own peoples. The only winners are those who would wrestle power away from decent folk, so that they can become dictators and vicious despots.

Interesting!

Both the first and the second Temples of Judaism were destroyed on exactly the same day of the Jewish calendar, 656 years apart! (K-News, 27th July)

The day is called Tisha B’Av, and is a day of mourning for great tragedies that have come upon the Jewish people. Jews fast to commemorate five major disasters. It is the final day of three weeks of mourning, starting with the 17th of Tammuz and ending with the 9th of Av.

Apart from the two destructions of the Temple, they mourn the fact that the Hebrews were too afraid to enter the Promised Land when the spies returned with news of the strength of the occupying people; the time in AD 130 when Hadrian ordered Jerusalem to be ploughed under to make way for a pagan city – and changing the name of Judea to Palestine; and when, in AD 135, Roman soldiers slaughtered over 100,000 Jews in the city of Betar.

It is interesting, too, to find that many other disasters have happened to the Jews on the 9th of Av throughout history.

Unfortunately, tried by so many years of Palestinian violence, some hard-line Jewish groups are planning to attack two mosques held in veneration by Islam, including the Dome on the Rock. Can you imagine what will happen if they do this?

And in Sudan, where British and other UN troops will be sent to try to end the growing genocide fostered by its own government, Muslim fighters, calling themselves Mohammed’s Army, vow to turn the country into a blood-bath by killing any foreign troops who stand on their soil. It is very hard not to call Islam violent when Islamic leaders refuse to condemn these atrocious acts and beliefs.

Tens of thousands of Sudanese, too, have been enslaved by Muslim terrorist groups…so how can Islam claim to fight for ‘freedom’?

Criminals

5,000 of the worst criminals in the UK will be allowed out into the community, tagged by the latest electronic devices. On a number of occasions we have said that the West imprisons people who should be left in society, repaying their debt by other means. But draconian laws mean that thousands are put inside at our expense, for reasons that, scripturally, do not need such drastic measures.

Putting the worst offenders into the public domain is pretty stupid, seeing as latest figures show that almost all of therm quickly offend again once released! It is the worst men and women who should be kept behind bars, not minor offenders. And all of them should be made to work for their own keep.

…To all those who stand by me and the ministry. No minister is an island, and each one needs Christian friends who are of ‘one mind’. (Obviously, if they are not of ‘one mind’ they will not want to remain with you).

It takes a lot of courage to show friendship for a ministry such as this, because there is immense pressure from others, who display a distaste and even disgust for what we do. Why? Because we do not hold blindly to tradition and denominational teachings. The pressure not to associate with us is quite formidable and when this becomes internalised, folk will simply stop associating with us.

However, thousands more join us in spirit, via the Internet. For all who stick with the ministry, then, and especially those few who stick by me personally, I say ‘thankyou’.

AIDS

Experts say that about one third of people with HIV in the UK do not even know they have the virus. So, for us in the West, there will be a crippling tax bill soon, to help pay for treatments.

In some countries in Africa, about 90% of all active males have HIV!! Very often young females in these countries are raped and abused and so contract the virus. And women pass it on to new-born children. In other words, lawlessness.

There are a number of missionary and other charities begging for help…but, when given, it translates as giving out condoms!

I began this ministry by publishing the very first Christian appraisal of HIV / AIDS. It was based on over three years intensive research into all the known scientific and medical articles written in the English language.

Its findings were stark and accurate, yet I lost my job and almost everything else because of it. People just do not wish to know the truth! HIV in the West began with homosexuals, and for years the disease was exclusively homosexual. And the figures in Africa seemed to show the same origin. I deduced that HIV would soon spread throughout the normal, heterosexual community, and this came to pass.

I predicted that children would soon start to suffer, and now they are. I advised that from homosexuals, HIV would begin to enter the general population through so-called ‘bi-sexuals’ who contract their disease from other homosexuals, and then pass it on to equally promiscuous women, often prostitutes. This came to fruition.

Along with others, I also predicted that mainlining drug users would help to spread HIV by using shared needles…and this source is also growing.

The cost to society is enormous, both physically and financially. And it shows no sign of stopping. Alongside this is the spread of other sexually transmitted diseases, and not just amongst the young. People simply don’t care! They want promiscuity and they get it, regardless of the human cost. God help them all!

If these same folk lived in a box and did not bother anyone else, that would be fine, for they would reap what they have sown. But, their promiscuity and godless lifestyles affect every person in their country. In the West, health bills are rising and we are expected to pay for it. In Africa, heart-rending pleas are heard. But what is the answer? It is not condoms or treatment. The answer is to stop promiscuity!

Giving condoms tells people they can do whatever they wish, so long as they ‘take precautions’. If society does not get back to what liberals claim is ‘repression’, and makes sexual promiscuity something to be ashamed of, we will get nowhere. As I said back in the mid 1980’s, the only answer is for one woman to know one man. Then, HIV would be stopped in its tracks.

Until that time (!!) should Christians send aid to Africa, which means giving out condoms and just treating symptoms, without making moral statements? Personally, I believe this to be foolish and godless. Search your conscience. Read scripture and see if God would wish us to help those who deny godly living and purity. I already know the answer – do you?

Watch Out UK!

A Swedish pastor began a one month prison sentence early in July for preaching on the subject of homosexuality, quoting Biblical sources. He was charged with ‘inciting hatred against homosexuals’.

We can expect homosexual groups to start this kind of campaigning in other countries foolish enough to give them similar ‘rights’.

Yet, Christians cannot take homosexuals to court for inciting hatred against scripture or against Christians! Why is this? Indeed, it is very unlikely that Christians would do that anyway.

Homosexuals are scared of losing the ‘rights’ they have gained by subterfuge and lies, so they show their fear by taking everyone else to court! They shout loudly because they know perfectly well that their cause is not genuine.

Dead-Easy!

Roman Catholic priests will take money to pray for dead relatives. The more they get paid the more they pray, and the quicker the relatives will be released from purgatory. Or so the fairy-tale goes.

A lot of commercial companies are moving their headquarters to India, because they get huge savings on wages and thus increase their profits. Cottoning on to this, Roman Catholics are now asking Indian RC priests to say prayers for their dead relatives, because they get more for their money! More prayers and even faster travel to heaven! C of E

“Christianity will always mutate into new social expressions to avoid slipping into extinction” says a Sunday Express writer (July 25th). Is he right?

He is referring to the Anglicans – it is God Who causes a church to rise or fall, regardless of society or any other factor. But, gross heresy does not help.

It seems that the C of E is being called the ‘his ‘n’ hers’ church because there is talk of Anglicans splitting into two separate churches – one run by females and the other by men!

The writer of the article sees this as ‘Jesuitical cunning’, and he is correct. He also suggests that it might be a sign of “the pathetic death throes of a once-proud institution”. Again, he is right.

Many Anglican dioceses are in financial crisis, close to becoming bankrupt. This is because the foundation of the C of E is not holy but corrupt. Still Romanist at heart with Romanist traditions and teachings, it is not worthy of being sustained. It should fall, never to recover.

I remember a long-lost friend who became an Anglican priest in order to ‘change Anglicanism from within’. Today, he is still a vicar, who has undergone many traumas and one or two neurotic breakdowns. He continually fights his hierarchy, believes in Romanism and the popes, swears like a trooper, drinks like a fish and smokes heavily. In between he quotes scripture and hopes he makes a difference to his could-not-care-less congregation. Says a lot, eh? He has made no difference to Anglicanism – instead, his spiritual life has been ruined.
