Hinn the Heinous Benny Hinn, that enemy of Christ with deceptions that defy the imagination, is out to dupe and deceive the nation of India in 2005, and has opened a permanent Benny Hinn office in readiness. Called a ‘Festival of Blessings’ this next crusade by Hinn is promised to dwarf his February 2004 meetings, which pulled crowds of almost 5 million to the ‘biggest healing crusade in recorded history’ (his own description). The next crusade will be held in Bangalore in January and major denominations have all joined together in anticipation, together with the Southern Asia Bible College. 230 acres of land is being flattened to accommodate 250,000 chairs and 3 million standing. There will be a 1,500 strong choir, 45 screens each 25 feet wide. There will be up to 17,000 ushers, plus 10,000 security men and police. A separate ground has been set aside to take 60,000 cars and buses. Huge billboards are already up, advertising the event, along with TV and newspaper ads, so double the 2004 visitors are expected. The total costs are estimated at about $3 million, but Hinn tells his people that “You can’t put a price on souls”. (Source: Benny Hinn Ministries)…yet his income is phenomenal! I am constantly surprised by the gullibility of people, and yet I come to expect it, as apostasy increases. Benny Hinn is abominable, preaching lies and spreading deceit. He has been found out in so many falsities and yet masses crowd around him in adoration (I think that is the right word to use). Such incredible hunger for deception can only come from Satan himself. Meanwhile… When Benny Hinn took his road-show to Manchester in 2002, 2,000 people were turned away because they thought they had tickets to see him. Outside there was pandemonium, one man had a heart attack and people needed treatment when they were crushed. Quite Christ-like, eh?? The BBC used words like ‘show’ and ‘fans’, to describe events, and that was rather accurate. The ambulance service referred to it as a ‘major incident’. (BBC News, 4th Nov. 2002). Bowing to Islam The authorities have discovered, from the mouth of Franklin Graham, that his organisation has been handing out Bibles in Iraq and spreading the Gospel (as defined by the organisation, that is). BTM is no friend of the Billy Graham organisation, but the principle behind this story is astounding. It says that the USA and others are angry that the word of God (albeit corrupted) is being made public in an Islamic country. Yet, Islam is free to say whatever it likes to the rest of the world! Al Qaeda even has its own Web site, allowed to function by those who could easily deny it access to the airways! God demands precedence in this world. His word may not be covered over or repressed. So, why bow down to Islam? The more we give in to its wicked demands the smaller become our freedoms and the more power the wicked will accrue. It could possibly be said that Franklin was foolish to admit to the activities of his organisation. Perhaps he should have acted in secret, being careful and crafty as a fox. On the other hand, we might ask why Christians should have to remain silent about spreading the Gospel. But the biggest problem is not this – it is the way the West is allowing Islam to dictate what is truth, under the threat of violence. Also note how the Muslim Council in the UK is actively telling Muslims not to vote for anyone who believes Islam is violent. Watch as our freedoms disappear. Sniggers Justified! Tracey Emin is well-known for getting an unmade bed into top art galleries and winning prizes for it. There are others just like her, foisting rubbish (literally) on the public in the place of true art. Now, her ‘work’ and the ‘work’ of many other pretend artists, has been destroyed in a fire. Oh dear! Emin was angry that the British public ‘sniggered’ when this happened. She complained that we have ‘no respect’ for what she does. Well, she’s got that bit right! Her latest ‘creation’ was a tent with names stitched to it. It was entitled ‘Everyone I Ever Slept With 1963 – 1965’. Sadly, this, too, was utterly destroyed in the fire. The gullible Charles Saatchi paid £40,000 for that piece of drivel. Emin, like other pretentious charlatans in the art world, do not deserve recognition or patronage. They have nothing to offer the world apart from shop-bought tents and dead animals. This is not art, but rubbish. I speak as an artist. Whilst there are things I do not particularly like in art, I can at least appreciate them. But the stupid stuff produced by these bright young folk is nothing like art and should be dismissed as cultural garbage. The trouble with the art world is that it is closed and very controlled by critics who think they know everything. It is these foolish people who get Emin and her ilk into the rich bracket. I relish telling the story of a critic who stood before one of my paintings years ago, and proceeded to tell me, confidently and with great detail, what I ‘meant’ by it. I burst into laughter and replied “No, I just liked the colours and the subject!” Pretension is a key word in art circles. That is why rubbish masquerades as art in the West. Blair – Friend of Islam I think the country ought to be appalled and angry with what Tony Blair is doing with our taxes. He plans to provide funding (remember – from our taxes) for moderate Islamic newspapers, TV and radio stations! And, in galling fashion, he even wants to offer special mortgages to Muslims, whose religion prevents them from paying interest rates!! The rest of the country can struggle on! Then what about the UK’s refusal to allow the USA to extradite the evil Abu Hamaza (‘The Hook’)? Our sensitive government is afraid that he might receive the death penalty if he goes to the USA – so the UK will keep him in this country instead, free of any restriction or legal punishments. I find this government spineless and degrading to true human rights. Hamaza and violent Muslims like him should be thrown into the deepest dungeons or put to death for their wickedness. Instead, we give him legal aid costing us thousands, and money to live on. Blair’s departure from the government scene is well overdue by about 100 years! If the people do not vote him out in the next election, then we will be subscribing to loss of everything we hold dear. Meanwhile in the USA, Detroit will allow Muslims to blast its call to prayer over their mosque tannoys, but a smaller town has now banned its opening spoken prayers that usually precede council meetings. Instead it will have ‘silent’ prayers, so as not to offend Muslims!! The Detroit council actually altered its noise ordinance to make the noise levels acceptable. They are doing it to ‘respect’ other faiths – but in so doing they disrespect the Christian faith! Yet, a growing number of Palestinian Arabs are admitting that the Palestinian authority is filled with corruption, anarchy and lawlessness. At the same time, Egypt has warned Arafat to stop his strangle-hold on affairs, or it will agree with the USA to ‘remove’ him. At last, some sense! DNA Pseudo-Science Scientists can be awfully stupid. Those who study the 3 billion chemical bases that form just one string of DNA tell us that many of the genes contained in them are ‘junk’ and do nothing! They add to this unscientific conclusion by saying that the ‘junk’ has been left there by millions of years of evolution…the same evolution that has never been, and cannot ever be proved to exist. God allows men to pick their way through His glorious creation, but how He must laugh at their stupendously ridiculous assumptions! DNA research is providing the world with great results, but when scientists come to unfounded decisions they are just as silly and ignorant as the general population. Africa’s Garbage I watched a TV documentary, presented by a young black theologian (can’t remember his name). He went out to Nigeria from the UK to discover for himself what is happening there, because the country was sending missionaries to the UK, spreading its own brand of charismaticism. What he saw was rather frightening, especially as it is determined to export itself to the West. He walked into a huge shed that could hold a million people at one time! The leader was a self-appointed ‘prophet’ and he has half a dozen ‘trainee prophets’ with him - all of whom seemed to be British white folk. Sadly, each one of them looked like my own stereotype of a true charismatic - fixed smile and glazed eyes! Without doubt, the whole thing was cultish. There was even a large class of very young children, all singing a song to the leader, extolling his virtues and his direct line with God! Needless to say, his greatest virtue was his financial expertise in taking cash from a people who cannot afford it, whilst he lives in splendour. When the presenter attempted to get the ‘trainees’ to answer any questions, the leader, who was somehow monitoring them from a distant place, ordered them by telephone to leave the room! What I saw of the meetings was similar to what I have seen in freakish charismatic meetings…lots of people falling down, writhing on the floor, shouting, and so on, with plenty of ‘healings’. The scariest part was the way everyone was subservient to the leader, who took centre stage, literally. (This is one of the marks of a cult – the raising up of a personality, around whom everything revolves…as it does in most charismatic churches). Watch out for these ‘missionaries’, for one of them is bound to appear at a home near you, full of great promises, glazed eyes and smiles that would not be removed even if an atom bomb blew up. Israel Perhaps it is again time to outline very briefly certain points… At BTM we do not support Israel ad nauseum, in everything it does. Nor do we say that it presently should necessarily have the land it occupies. What we say is that nations should beware of attacking Israel. NOT because it is currently working with the approval of God, but because God has said that He has not removed His people, nor has He completely forsaken them. These are the same people who will assume the mantle of preaching some time in the future. It might be argued that the people of Israel, by and large, are unsaved and so we have nothing much to do with them. But, our argument is that the saved Jews will come from amongst the people of Israel…hence the need to be careful how they are all treated. It does not mean they can get away with abominations. It does mean that God will one day elevate many of them as saved people, and so we have no business denigrating them as a whole. At BTM we have no time for Zionism or the heated fervour surrounding many ‘Christian’ ministries that serve to send Jews back to Israel. Far better if they preached the Gospel to them! Heresy = Charismaticism Clement of Alexandria was writing about the misuse of scripture by heretics, a long time ago, and what he said exactly fits the repugnant state of true charismaticism (Quoted from ‘Early Christian Writers’, H.M.Gwatkin, Pub. Macmillan & Co. 1920): “And of those also who follow heresies venture to avail themselves of the prophetic scriptures; in the first place they will not make use of all the scriptures, and then they will not quote them entire, nor as the body and texture of the prophecy prescribe. But, selecting ambiguous expressions here and there; not looking to the sense…while they alter the meanings; neither knowing how they were spoken, nor using the quotations they do bring according to their natural meaning.” We have said this time and again and have previously pointed out the ancient roots of charismatic heresy. Tertullian, also, describes the truth about heretics, which also easily fit not just charismaticism, but many other movements today: “It is after a single rebuke, not after a discussion, that the apostle forbids us to converse with a heretic…for…a debate over scripture plainly does no good.” He then tackles the ‘disorderly worship of heretics’, which, again, exactly fits what true charismatics do… “I will not leave out a description of the conduct also of heretics – how empty it is, how earthly, how merely human, without sobriety, without impressiveness, without discipline – as suits their faith. In the first place, who is catechumen and who faithful, is doubtful. They all come up alike, all hear, all pray alike – heathens, too, if they come in. That which is holy they will cast to the dogs, and their pearls (though they are but shams) to the swine. They will have it that simplicity means the destruction of discipline, and the care of it with us they call pandering. Peace, too, they mix up at random with all comers; for with all their differences of thinking they care for nothing so long as they are agreed on assailing the one single Truth. They all promise knowledge. The catechumens are perfect before they are fully taught. The very women of the heretics – how pert they are! For they have the impudence to teach to wrangle, to perform exorcisms, to undertake healings, possibly even to baptise. Their ordinations are random, capricious, unsettled. Sometimes they appoint novices, sometimes secular officials, sometimes renegades … in order to bind them by vain glory, for by truth they cannot. Nowhere is promotion easier than in the camp of rebels, where the mere fact of being there is a merit. Thus one man is bishop today, another tomorrow, and he is presbyter today who tomorrow is layman; for even on laymen they impose priestly functions.” That description is incredibly modern and accurate. Why? Because that is what all heretics are like. As we have said before, and as the reference to an African cult above proves, all charismatic heresy centres on individual personalities. Please bear in mind what all this means…the ancients called such people barbarians (rough and untaught) and heathen, and we should not grace them with any other titles that allow them to suppose they are genuine Christians. (Note that I always differentiate ‘true’ charismatics from those who just happen to attend their places of worship. Even so, all who mix with them are tainted by the unholy epithet of ‘heretic’.) The Ring Goes Round… On a lighter note, I was in Bath, UK, not so long ago, in an antique shop. There I saw several silver rings from the third century that once belonged to Christians. It was marvellous to see such small evidences of God’s continuing presence in this world. Those wearers are long dead, but they were linked immediately to me as I gazed at their possessions. The saints persevere, but so does God! I also walked past an artist, painting a street scene, using a very small set of palette knives. Quite unique and very attractive. Good to see that decent art is still available! (I still hope to offer art study on our Web site, but that will have to wait for now) The Evil in Iraq (Taken from K-House News, 9th June). When asked about the spiritual climate in Iraq, an army specialist said that though he knew God was with him, it was very difficult to talk about God there, because of the “spiritual darkness in this country that is so thick…the presence of evil just permeates this place. I know some people think that Allah and God are the same, but if Allah were this great, wonderful person, then this place wouldn’t suck so bad.” “Satan does not want us to succeed. Because if we did, then Christianity could get into this place...I want to be able to help these people know Jesus…Pray that God reveals Himself to (the Iraqi people), to let them know He exists and that He loves them. That’s what these people need. Pray that God comes here and establishes Himself, because the people of Iraq are scared – they’re scared that when the Americans leave, the whole country will go to pieces.” Amen to everything that man said! He is not just talking about terrorism, which can be of any religious hue, or none. He is also talking about that darkness that is spread by basic Islam, that hates truth and loves violence. It is worth remembering that the capital of Iraq is Baghdad, the new name for old Babylon. Jonah went to speak to the people of Ninevah, now known as Mosul, northern Iraq. At one time the great city contained the largest concentrations of ‘Assyrian’ Christians in that part of the world. Sadly, their spiritual descendants are now ready to pack up and go, because they fear what will happen to them when the new administration takes over and militant Muslims begin to jostle for power. No Christian has an official governmental seat, and the temporary constitution declares the country’s ‘official religion’ to be Islam, so the signs are there. As we noted a while ago, Saddam was not a religionist, but was quite secular. His rule was by sheer terror and repression. Now, as we have also feared, the war may have made way for an intense form of Islam that will wipe out any progress made by the USA and other forces. It is ironic that Afghanistan was cleared of a similar fate, and yet the allies have helped to recreate another Islamic Mafia in another country! No wonder the extremists want the USA to get out! As is the way with any tyrant, they enjoy the freedom for themselves but will soon deny it to everyone who is not of the chosen few. The USA should have made more effort to protect the minorities, including Christians, in the setting-up of a new government. It is not too late for them to do so. Even before the change-over, Christian women are being accosted in the street and intimidated into dressing in Muslim clothing. Christian businesses are burned down and local Muslims are being allowed to get away with it, because of the almost universal attitude of appeasement toward Islam. It is a tiger that will turn and eat everybody! Even moderate Muslims are being attacked. One said that it is the extreme Muslims who are her real enemy, not the USA. She says that the Islamic leaders create a “black mind…and…they are crazy.” In truth, she asks how these same leaders can turn a blind eye to what Saddam did over several decades, and yet act like fury against their liberators. It is because Satan is in control of them and they wish only to destroy. She added “I am a Muslim… (this black mind) comes from Islam.” Don’t be misled by those stupid evil soldiers who did some awful things to prisoners. They are in a minority. Concentrate instead on the whole scene and know your true enemy! Even Russia Agrees! Russian scientists found an ancient mammoth site way past the polar circle. (Source: PRAVDA, 8th June). This has prompted scientists to rethink human migration patterns, and so they now believe (as do Creationist scientists anyway) that human beings used to live in what is now the frozen north, way back in history. The newer theories suggest that humans migrated not north, but south, from what is now frozen waste, after a cataclysm…known as the Flood to Christians, though known as the ‘glacial theory’ to unbelievers, who insist that the northern hemisphere was covered with ice at some time. PRAVDA also writes of ‘aliens’ who supposedly live under the sea. Typically, because observers do not understand what they see, their minds try to categorise occurrences. In one case, an American scientist attributes a large silver object that emerged from the sea to an alien race. Only this year I watched a TV programme about ‘hyper-lightning’, a devastating form of lightning that is immensely more powerful than any known to us before, and not even witnessed properly until recently. It is capable of bringing down aircraft and even space shuttle craft, such is its power. There is yet much out there that we simply don’t understand, so maybe ‘aliens’ should take a back seat, eh! Death Penalty Needed Any real Christian knows that the death penalty was never intended as a deterrent, but simply as a punishment (though it certainly is a deterrent in any standard society). During the French trial of the Spanish killer of Caroline Dickinson, a psychiatrist said that the killer was not mad and had all his mental faculties. “He is perfectly normal in psychological terms…(he is a) violent sexual pervert”. (Source: The Guardian, June 12th). In other words, he is a vile sinner, wicked - and, as the psychiatrist warned, “would kill again”. Yet, such people are allowed to live! The rise of killing and paedophilia is directly due to a lack of the death penalty and of life-long incarceration. Our Local Pharmacy… As I was waiting to collect my prescribed medications I picked up a leaflet on the counter of the pharmacy. It warned heroin users about new heroin batches arriving on the streets that could kill, because it was corrupted. The leaflet advises users on how to test new heroin and how to ‘stay safe’. Published by the local drugs-advice team, it underlined for me how we are in such a mess. Instead of calling drug misuse stupid and moronic, help is given in how to use it!! What’s wrong with everybody? Helping people come off drugs is one thing, but to actively advise on how to take killer drugs is beyond comprehension, for the advisers then become part of the problem. Priestly Breeding Romanist priests in the USA are dying of AIDS at a rate four times the national average. (The Weekly Standard, 26th May, 2003). Between 30% and 60% of all USA priests are homosexual! This terrible statistic came about because seminaries began to accept homosexuals as trainee priests, from the 1960’s. It is also not surprising, then, that the scandals that are now rife also began about the same time. It stands to reason that if homosexuals become prominent in any grouping, the group will exhibit all the traits of sexual perversion. The Anglicans should not be complacent or smug though, for their own priests are dying of AIDS at a rate 2 to 3 times greater than that of USA priests!! And that is when priests are allowed to marry! Though hotly denied, paedophilia is a homosexual sub-culture. Don’t let homosexuals get away with their grubby redefinitions. Note that Catholic bishops protect homosexuality in its ranks.
