Mandela Wisdom?

I don’t understand why the world, and many Christians, hold Nelson Mandela up as a world leader of great wisdom. I admit that I cannot see much beyond his former terrorist image, but Mandela has not really done anything to dispel that image.

A few weeks ago he visited the Muslim terrorist who blew up the passenger airplane over Scotland, murdering nearly 280 people. Now Mandela is calling on the government to give the terrorist more rights, wanting him to be moved to a Muslim jail!

Then, after that, and after the hue and cry about the visit, Mandela decided to visit Scotland to ‘redress the balance’.  Mandela must still be a terrorist at heart, if his first concern is for the one who so callously slaughtered nearly 280 people. His visit to Scotland cuts no ice with me, and, no doubt, it has been lost on the people of Scotland, too.

The terrorist should have been put to death immediately, according to God’s law. But, human beings are notoriously stupid and like to replace God’s laws with their own, and God’s wisdom with a poor human substitute. That’s how we get so many things wrong.

Mandela is also meddling in the AIDS issue. He says that the whole world must get together and send Africa billions in cash to fight AIDS. This awful disease is crippling Africa and has sent out its tentacles to the rest of the world. Mandela says that we must be rid of the stigma surrounding AIDS.

What drivel! AIDS is caused by sexual promiscuity – in Africa amongst the general population; in the West mainly amongst the sexually perverted, such as homosexuals. I fail to see why the whole world should fund ‘help’ to people who cannot be bothered to contain their sexual lusts and keep their sexuality for lawful married partners alone.

Why should we fund those whose morals are from the pit and whose activities are even lower? AIDS should have a stigma! AIDS is brought about by immorality and sexual impropriety, and by a world that refuses to utter those terrible words; “ AIDS can be stopped instantly, if you stop being immoral”.

Mandela and those of us who have grown lax about morality are the biggest part of the AIDS problem. Unless we get back to telling everyone that promiscuity is wrong and unacceptable, we will get nowhere. Following Mandela’s wisdom will only make things far worse. Spending billions on AIDS will send funding away from legitimate causes for concern, and will reinforce the immorality of the people.

This reminds me of the need for brethren to rebuke and give help to each other. Too many Christians think that discipline in the churches has to do only with excommunication! Discipline is mainly to do with how we live our lives, from sexual ethics and morality to the proper interpretation of scripture. Weirdly, a lot of Christians uphold Mandela as some kind of Biblical saviour. How wrong they are!

Readers – there are many Mandela’s out there, with their own brand of wisdom. But it is not God’s wisdom, which can be very tough, very stark and ‘in your face’.

Addendum

We are interested to note that the churches that continue to snub us, refer to our website as “a joke”. Yet, those with serious intent have called it a ‘heavyweight theological site’!! Who is right?

I believe the latter. We have spent many years researching scripture and presenting our findings in easy-to-read format, so that theology becomes understandable. Do not confuse the easy format with slack theology!

Indeed, we smile to ourselves that the churches who say our site is a ‘joke’ are the churches who have human ‘angels’ in their midst, teach pagan and occult practices, and reject scripture as it is written in favour of charismatic heresy. Tryng to slander us for teaching the truth will never stop their disastrous slide into sin. 

Sin Pays!

For every $20 the USA National Institute of Health spends on diabetes research, it spends a staggering $2,400 on AIDS/HIV. Breast cancer gets $200, prostate cancer gets $100, Alzheimers gets $78 and Parkinson’s gets $34!!

HIV is mainly contracted by homosexual perversion, drug taking and so-called ‘bi-sexuality’. Sadly, unsuspecting wives and those who must have blood transfusions also get it, but their numbers in the West are few compared to homosexuals.

So, sin pays. Go out and commit unspeakable sexual sins and the USA (and other Western governments) will literally throw money at you to ‘help’. It should be noted that in the UK alone, over 12,500 stroke victims die or are left crippled because there is not enough cash to help them. Yet money is no object for homosexuals who contract a vile disease through sexual perversion!

But, what’s the difference when British MP’s have just voted an extra 25% extra for their own pensions, when I will not get one at all when I reach retirement age in 9 years time!

Brainwashing Babies

At last we have it – homosexual acceptance preached on Sesame Street! This long-running children’s programme watched by millions of babies, toddlers and adults, is now to have a puppet with HIV. No kidding!

It will be presented in a positive way, so that children will grow up with sympathy for AIDS sufferers. This will inevitably include sympathy for homosexuality.

Reader – let it again be emphasised…AIDS is the result of illicit sex. It is a curse upon homosexuals, whose lifestyle is evil and anathema to God. By allowing children to watch this kind of propaganda, we will be letting the pro-homosexual brigade get away with it.

If it’s In, It Stays In!!

A reader claims that we are Zionists and Dispensationalists. He bases this on last month’s brief report on Jerusalem and on previous statements that Israel are still God’s people.

We are not Zionists or Dispensationalists or Calvinists or any other kind of ‘ists’, because we do not subscribe to any kind of ‘ism’!!

We have said that we do not accept present day Israeli violence, but that we do accept the place of Israel in God’s heart. Jesus came to preach to Israel and Israel will one day come back to the fore. In terms of salvation there is neither Jew nor Gentile – only people.

Yet, Israel are still God’s people from old. So are the saved of any nation. Both are true. Where do I get all this from? From plain scripture – not from theories or from any particular denominational belief.

Telling me that ‘the Church is now Israel’ does not wash. In scripture we see Israel as a nation distinguished from faithful Israel. Thus it was said that not all in Israel were of Israel.

We also see that the meaning of ‘church’ includes not just that of a gathering of Christians, but it also includes a whole nation. Added to that, Christians are part of spiritual Israel.

I accept all these statements and do not bother to square them with this or that theory. If scripture says it, then it stays in! I will not manipulate them for the sake of Calvinism or any other ‘ism’.

Our critic adds that “any discerning reader” (himself?) can see that our views are dispensationalist. Hm. I would say that our readers are discerning, and that they do not see anything Dispensational in our work. Nor do they find Zionism. Maybe they aren’t discerning enough for our critic? Or could it be that they are discerning, but that the critic has got it wrong? I wonder which it is?

No, I’m not being facetious to our critic – I am just pointing out that we would hardly use Zionist or Dispensationalist language or ideas when we have previously rejected them. What we have said about Israel is consistent with scripture and that is that. The critic however is determined to force us along a Calvinistic route, when we are not Calvinists.

I repeat – if scripture says it, then we will accept it. If we have to amend our personal beliefs every single day we will do it, if it is scriptural. For this reason we will not accept traditional or denominational beliefs unless they are scriptural.

Our critic asked us to address this ‘error’ of ours in the Beacon, so we have. But, somehow, I don’t think he will accept what we have said. (Note: the item below ‘More Deference to Terrorism?’ is not an example of pro-Israel bias. It is a call for honest reporting and for a stop to the blatant demonisation of Israel by Islamic terrorists).

More Deference to Terrorism?

The media appear to be paying deference to Islam nowadays in its efforts to play-down any differences between the West and Allah’s stormtroopers. Take the recent shooting at the El Al counter of Los Angeles airport…

Two people were killed by Hesham Muhammad Ali Hadayet, an Egyptian living in the USA. Though the media and the USA government were quick to deny it had any terrorist connection, it has been discovered that this man had met twice with a deputy of Osama Bin Laden, in 1995 and in 1998, in Egypt. (Reported a week ago in ‘Al Hayat’, an Islamic newspaper based in London).

He had Koranic verses of jihad pinned to the back of his apartment door in Irvine, California. He is known to have been telling friends that Israel had tried to subvert Egypt by sending in large numbers of prostitutes with AIDS. (A lie that has been widespread amongst Arabs for the past ten years).

So, why ignore this man’s past associations and statements? Why pretend it is not a terrorist attack? As ‘Terror Petition’ (an anti-terrorist watchdog) has said – the media is bent on making out that Israel is a demon, whilst Islamic terrorists wreak havoc against the Jews…would the USA government be so quick to deny this attack was terrorism if those killed had been Americans?

The Jerusalem Post (July 6th, Editorial) asked some very pertinent questions about media coverage of the attack:

Though the USA was expecting some kind of attack, officials tried to play-down any terrorist connection. Why? The officials tried to say that if it had any al-Qaida link, it would have been ‘large scale’…but did they think such an organisation would play things by rules and by their own past?

Why did the same officials deny any possibility of terrorism, even after finding out who the dead gunman really was? Even after a former work-mate told police and FBI that the killer had expressed violence and hatred toward Israel? (The Times).

Even after it became known to the same officials that he attended an anti-Israel mosque in Los Angeles, known for its blatant Israel-hatred?

Why is it assumed that terrorism requires a direct command from headquarters, especially when ‘sleepers’ are characteristic of terrorist organisations?

If Americans think terrorism will only come in conveniently huge packages such as on September 11th, then they have yet to come to grips with what terrorism is all about! The people of the USA were stunned that September 11th could possibly take place on their soil. Is this why they are now so reluctant to carry on the war against terrorism? If they do not continue, then terrorism will gain greater control. There is a need to maintain momentum, regardless of the threats made by Islamic killers.

…and, the Facts Behind the ‘Facts’!

As you probably know, statistics can be used to prove anything you like. (That is how the Labour Party - and other parties - uses plunging popularity polls to ‘prove’ its effectiveness!).

I am talking about the apparently horrific figures being thrown about concerning the nasty Israelis and the poor down-trodden Palestinians. At least, this is how the media is now portraying the two sides. They are trying to swing emotions so that they align with terrorism…see how…(Info. Terror Petition).

After the most recent attack on Israeli civilians, the media reported that 1500 Palestinians have been killed thus far, compared with only 550 Israelis. Seems clear that Israel is therefore using far too much muscle to kill-off their neighbours? No – the media are using unfair tactics by manipulating figures…

Firstly, the figures do not differentiate between civilians and combatants or suicide bombers. Nor do the statistics show that many Palestinians were murdered by their own people. Yet, they are lumped together as if they were killed by Israelis. Why?

A study by the International Policy Institute for Counter-Terrorism has thrown light on the way the media are trying to influence opinion against Israel.

They have shown that the majority of Palestinian deaths are of combatants, whilst the majority of Israeli deaths (80% of them) are of civilians. This shows that the deaths of Palestinians are due to legitimate actions by the Israeli army against terrorists.

It has also been shown that of the 1,500 Palestinian deaths at least 185 of them were caused by Palestinians themselves…one in every eight. (In the 1980’s 800 were killed as ‘collaborators’ by Palestinians themselves…one third of the death toll at that time!).

Of the dead, 30% of the Israelis were female, but of the Palestinians 95% are male, again showing that they were involved in death squads, whilst the women were merely going about their daily business. It has also been found that Palestinians tend to go for easy, older targets, whilst Israeli soldiers try to confine their targets to terrorists with bombs and guns. So, think twice about the figures so quickly reeled out by the media in support of the ‘poor Palestinians’. It is true that Palestinians generally are not having a good time – but they live under a Muslim regime that teaches terror and death as a way of life.

CofE Error

A spokesman for a recent CofE conference bluntly said that, once, Anglicans thought that ‘other faiths’ were enemies because they did not teach that Christ was the only way to God. Now, he says gleefully, that is “no more”. Today, Anglicans are being taught that other faiths are all of God, and that is why we must ‘enter into dialogue’ with them. After all, God made them all.

Thus we see Anglicanism not only going back to its Romanist roots – it is also on the road to the multi-faith scenario that will engulf the world in readiness for ‘one faith’.

Other faiths are NOT of God. Even a superficial glance at scripture will prove that! Anglican thinkers are ignoring scripture to arrive at their conclusions. They are now teaching that Christ is not the only way to God, and so He is not the only source of salvation. That, friends, is how Anglicanism has sealed its fate as pagan heresy.

Asylum Again…

A Muslim family were forced out of a mosque in the Midlands, UK, by a squad of police and immigration officers. They had smuggled into the UK not from a war-torn Afghanistan, their home country, but from Germany, in the back of a lorry. Yet, do-gooders in the UK and Muslim leaders complain because the family are to be thrown out of the country!  But, tugging at emotions does not change the fact that what they did is a crime.

For goodness sake!! I hope that many more will be sent out of the UK…why should we taxpayers shell out for people who think it is okay to be illegal? The family above were already in a safe country and acted criminally to get to the UK, when they had no reason to do so.

This story is more galling when we hear that the British government is going to pay out over £1 million of our taxes to pay for days out, courses and a variety of recreational activities for illegal asylum seekers! I just cannot believe what our elected MP’s are doing with our money!

Oh yes, and to add even further to this absurdity, another £1 million is soon to be spent on instant health care, given by BUPA and other private health organisations!

It has already been admitted by the government that almost all the asylum seekers are here illegally, and have no right to be here, yet they are getting more help and ‘goodies’ than citizens born in the UK and who live here legally, in poverty! Over £1 billion is being paid out per year so far!!

How many UK families could afford to go to theme parks, or even to the cinema or theatre, or get private health care? Very few. They can’t even afford to go on courses to better themselves. I know that I can’t. So, why are illegal immigrants, who will be sent back to their own countries, receiving all this free help, including free food, clothing, shelter and health aid? It is an insult to all who have to struggle to work for a living and pay heavy taxes to boot – a lot of which is being given, without just cause, to people with illegality in mind!

The ‘Socialist Puritan’

The next Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams, is an intellectual. I think we need more intellectuals. But we can do without Rowan. He believes in homosexual rights for a start. He is also one of the thousands who are confirmed pacifists – you know, those well-meaning but deluded people who believe that if you lay down bearing your neck to the enemy they will just shake your hand in friendship.

Rowan also wishes to appoint women bishops. He is calling for the ‘Church’ (defined as the Anglicans, that is) to be loosed from the monarchy, which is no bad thing…except that he also wants closer ties with Rome.

The leader of the Church Society says that Rowan holds some unscriptural and divisive views. Too true! He has openly said that he disowns any war against terrorism. He is ardently pro-orthodoxy, so they say…but how can he be when he supports homosexuality? Does he think that doctrine has nothing to do with behaviour?

Rowan has been called a ‘Socialist Puritan’ and a ‘Bible-believing Christian’…yet his views reflect the mind of a liberal who rejects Biblical teaching on peace and perversion. Let’s see what other messes the Anglicans can dream up in the coming years.

Million, Billion, Trillion…

When I studied economics as part of my business degree, my tutor told us that it did not matter how much money you threw at the health service or on public services, because they would never be satisfied. And that is perfectly true.

Yet, the present government is going to spend an amount that cannot be imagined on the public services – over £1.5 TRILLION ( £1,500 Billion) in the run-up to the next election! It is just a way of paying for advertising for a government that is taking us all to ruin, as well as into the lair of the EU.    

Happy Days

Often, I wonder about my ministry and about happiness. Every time I receive a letter, saying that all I do is be ‘critical’, I sit back and look again at what I have said or done. In each case thus far, I have been ‘critical’ because the matter to hand demanded it. I had no option. In some folk’s minds this translates as ‘heresy-hunting’!!

Friends, I did not choose this ministry. It is what I have to do, because God says so. If I could have chosen a quieter life, I would have. But, I can’t. Not so long ago my ministry was offered a substantial and continuous cash boost, if only I dropped all reference to Pentecostal errors and criticism. I know ministries that have succumbed to such offers, and today they are earning a hefty income.

I also know of ministries and ministers who conveniently drop certain items from their preaching and activities, so that they can be in favour with as many folk as possible. One of the biggest is the Evangelical Alliance who, like the Church of England, are a ‘broad church’, having many heretics in their midst. I can’t do it.

I look back on my life and wonder if I had happier days. Yes, I did. When I became a Christian I was a renegade rock-singing art student. I jumped in to the Young peoples’ Fellowship ‘society’ with gusto and enjoyed our trips, walks and general activities. I still had my long hair and odd ways, but I was getting there. I enjoyed church meetings, too. I would say I was very happy (but theologically ignorant).

As I continued in my Christian life I began to mix truth with error, not because I wanted to, but simply because no-one was there to tell me where I was going wrong. Even so, I was happy. It is a fact of life that many a heretic is very happy with his or her life. So was I.

Then, many years later, my life was turned upside down and I began to see the difference between happiness and joy. Ironically, true joy rode not on the back of happiness, but on the back of my gut-wrenching heart-searching, and sheer viciousness by those I trusted in the churches. True joy was the result of finding what God really said in His word. The more I searched, the more I had to cast error out of my life, and the more I did that, the more friends I lost and the greater became the anger against me from traditionalists. Yet, I was given God’s joy! Don’t think that joy always equals happiness, because it doesn’t. Even so, I prefer it.
