Vote for God

I find modern Arminianism so appalling! There was a long-running TV programme in which youngsters jostled for first place as ‘Pop Idol’. They warbled their way through programme after programme until one was left as winner, with the promise of fame and fortune (which he has now got).

One of the contestants was a charismatic (whether or not he was also a Believer I do not know). The appalling part is that the ‘Christian’ media all urged Christians (?) to vote for the young man, because a vote for him was a ‘vote for God’.

The church the young man attends said all the members were ‘on the redial button’ of their telephones to get him voted the best! This is charismatic fervour at its most rabid – how sad and how unscriptural. Vote for God by voting for a young man singing secular songs? Hmph!

But this is how charismaticism treats its idols…Hinn, Copeland, et al. And they tell us that if we reject their idols, we are rejecting God Himself. There is nothing more to say about this tragic matter.

The EA’s Folly…Again

We continue in our opposition to the Evangelical Alliance…

Nicky Gumbel, guru of the Alpha course, sees Alpha as a vehicle for the ‘transformation of society’ and as the servant of society. This is the message of so-called ‘community churches’. It is also the message and aim of the EA.

In a recent newsletter to individuals the EA talks of itself as gaining influence to change society by changing public opinion. It wants to influence governments and refers to a meeting it had recently with the Prime Minister. The EA’s aim is to promote Christian values and ‘community action’. Basically, it wants to be a part of governmental decisions and is using the ‘social gospel’ to do it.

There’s nothing wrong with gaining the ear of powerful people – but this is not the real job of the Church. Unfortunately, the EA sees its role as ‘God-given’…just the same role it thought it had when it fudged the Toronto Blessing issue and showed its total disarray concerning the things of God.

“Imagine what God might do if a million evangelical Christians united in prayer and committed to bring radical change to communities across the UK. This has to be a vision worth working for.” So says the leaflet: ‘Don’t just talk about change’.

This statement aptly describes what the EA is doing. It relies on tactics and human ideas and then drags in God to rubber-stamp its plans. The vision is clearly not of God. If it were, then the statement would read very differently! It would say, ‘God has given me the command to do this or that.’ It would not be given to them as part of a strategy devised by a human committee!

The EA has, then, invented a plan and calls it a ‘vision’. It says plainly that if a million Christians prayed, God would do what they said. This is charismatic theology, not scriptural teaching. The way of true prayer and of real answers is that God firstly gives the matter to pray for, and then when we pray what God has already given to us to pray for, He brings it about. This is not petty stuff – it describes the true heart of the EA, which is committee-based and Arminian, not scripture-based.

We will continue to monitor and oppose the EA, because it is now pro-charismatic and has no discernment. It is using Christian money to infiltrate government and society for the wrong reasons. Sadly, many heed its call and policy makers are using their words as being representative of all Christians.

The EA wants ‘evangelicals’ to be ‘respected’. Oh, what an age-old desire of men! Note how ‘evangelicals’ is used, rather than ‘Christians’? This is a deliberate avoidance of truth, for its ranks are filled by non-evangelicals and those who do not adhere to scripture alone! And respectability means not saying what needs to be said.

The EA speaks of ‘united fellowship’ to ‘promote Christian values’ and ‘community action’. Friends, this is nonsense and unbiblical. We are not called to promote Christian values – we are called to witness to Almighty God and to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ as it is given in scripture! As we all know, what passes off as ‘Christian’ can be diverse and trashy. There can be no fellowship with unbiblical groups who teach error, and community action is merely a way of spreading a social gospel.

The EA calls on Believers to join with it to transform society. This is very similar to the claim of Alpha to change lives. Not Christ, but Alpha. Now the EA says it will change society, so long as that society gives it money. It is thus equating change with itself, not with God. The difference is subtle and alarming. Don’t be misled by its supposed noble cause – it is merely the human invention of an humanly-devised organisation.

Murder She Wrote…

An Iranian newspaper has repeated a previous call to murder the author Salman Rushdie. It predicts that he will be assassinated in the USA by Muslim extremists, to mark the 13th anniversary of the fatwa against Rushdie.

I see Rushdie as a pompous and arrogant man who has no time for God, but this continued Muslim threat is an indication of Islam’s true nature, and one we have warned against for a while now. The basic idea is this – if anyone dares to say Allah is not God, or that Mohammed is not Allah’s messenger, then that person must die at the hands of Allah’s killing servants.

Beware when Islam becomes dominant. The UK Foreign Office has condemned the newspaper’s stance, but this incident is sinister because it has not been condemned by Iran or other Muslims.

Sex, Carnal Style?

The Scottish Episcopal Church sent out a sex guide to all its member churches. It contains a number of essays on human sexuality ’expressing differing views’, on marriage, sex, homosexuality, etc. Though I have not read it, why do I get the impression that it is just a collection of human fables, without any real reference to scripture?

I believe Christians must be more able and willing to talk seriously about sex and sexuality more openly, but only within the bounds of scripture. That means there can be no ‘differing views’ on matters such as homosexuality, etc.

Science for Good

In another context I have said that true science is also true theology. When science agrees with Biblical revelation and its precepts, we can know that it is good.

Latest researches have come up with a new way to sterilise food that does not use harmful chemicals – simply water. It is used at very high pressure equally across the surface of foodstuffs and immediately kills bacteria! Now that’s good science!

Alpha Gets In Everywhere

Alpha is not just about false preaching, it is also into other realms of human life. It now offers courses on marriage under its umbrella organisation, Alpha International. It has a video on the topic for use in churches.

Using a similar approach to the Alpha course, it encourages couples to have a candlelit dinner and to chat to each other about what marriage means to them, etc. Nothing wrong with that.

As usual there are also leaders guides, manuals, and so on….but the course is being applied to unsaved people, too. The aim is to have a permanent course open to anyone who wishes to attend, at an Alpha-led church. It should be obvious to readers why I am so wary about this move. Stopping divorce is great, but not at the expense of God’s truth. I can guarantee that the course will contain humanistic aims and objectives, possibly with a veneer of God’s word. Thus, couples will become humanly happier, but will then be open to the wiles and errors of the Alpha course, or, to churches that have taught it. The result will be yet another group of folk whose minds have been tarnished by heresy and a false gospel.

Nano-Technology

A computer conference in Boston was told that molecule-size computers could be available very soon, as nano-technology has advanced tremendously lately.

When we read in Revelation of the way people will be marked to enable them to buy and sell, this news can only convince that the end times are now with us. There are already many technological ways to ‘mark’ people. What would be more ideal than a computer chip so small it can only be seen under a microscope? It could even be inserted in the body at birth! This is no myth.

Not All Rosey…

Saudi Arabia set up special Valentine’s Day patrols to police shops and individuals. The government’s Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Evil (no, I’m not making it up), banned anything to do with Valentine’s Day, from red roses to teddy bears and greetings cards.

I do not believe in having Valentine’s Day, but I do not think people can be forced to accept the beliefs of a few, even if those beliefs are genuine and scriptural. This is yet another example of the dictatorship of Islam.

Good Idea!

The idea of giving up something for Lent is very much Roman Catholic orientated. A Norfolk, UK, vicar decided to give up preaching for Lent! Richard Ames-Lewis gave up preaching so that his congregation could spend more time in prayer.

So, lay-preachers stepped in to preach instead. What rubbish comes from the Anglican fold! Perhaps it was a very good idea for this man to give up preaching if his vision of it is so trite.

The EA…Again

I like the style of the Evangelical Alliance. It can promote the idea of holiness even when its own faith system is shaky and linked with heresy!

Joel Edwards says we are in danger of “relegating Christ to a mere extension of our own systems, processes and values”. Yet, the EA been doing this for years, as it brings in to fellowship groups so diverse as to be shameful, including the notorious charismatics.

Edwards calls on us all to “remember who is boss” (how I cringe at use of words used to describe Almighty God).

He says that a ‘clear sense of a common Head’ can be a “tall order” for evangelicals. What drivel! If Christ is NOT the Head, then any church is apostate anyway and outside of God’s will.

Potter Not Dangerous?

I have read much nonsense by ‘Christians’ who praise the Harry Potter books and films about witchcraft. One such idiocy is that they do no harm and do not lead people in to the occult.

Yet, thousands of children in the USA have reportedly joined covens as a result. And Adelaide University in Australia has now launched a course in sorcery, witchcraft and shamanism as a direct result of the popularity of Harry Potter.

Students will ‘study’ séances, exorcisms, healings, ritual magic, and the methods of African witchdoctors, for 12 weeks. In this way a university is trying to boost its income by shameful means that oppose God.

Another Lent Joke

This time from a Roman Catholic perspective (it does not matter – the CofE is Catholic anyway!). Brazil plans to ban women from wearing plunging necklines, short skirts and shorts, for Lent, through a new law. The mayor of Aparecida wants to introduce the law for Lent only, in order to ‘strengthen the country’s faith’. Women who break the law will be fined “£15 during Lent and twice during Holy Week’. What makes this laughable is that Brazilian women are extremely forward in use of their bodies and in the way they use clothing (or the lack of it) during their huge carnivals.

Hypnosis – and Charismatics

Scientists have discovered, by using sophisticated computerised equipment, that people who are hypnotised actually ‘see’ the things they are hypnotised to see.

So, they are not just doing what they are told to do. They are doing it because they see it. This is nothing but a ‘vision’, similar to those ‘seen’ by charismatics and other spiritists.

The same kind of ‘seeing’ can be found amongst many who have suffered a stroke and I have observed this myself in the health field. Such a person can deny his arm belongs to him, or can ‘see’ people who are not there.

Charismatics can ‘see’ their special visions etc., because they have been processed to do so by the hypnotic techniques of charismatic leaders and by Satan. It is how they are convinced…how can a man deny what he really ‘sees’ with his own eyes? Will these people be the only ones to ‘see’ Jesus Christ when He supposedly appears to charismatics in their meetings? Probably. They will argue that we cannot see him because of our lack of faith – when, all along, what they see is nothing but the product of a mass hypnosis.

The only alternative is, of course, that Satan causes demons to appear in human form, for Christ will not return until it is time to judge the living and the dead. So saith scripture.

Insane Asylum!

What on earth is our government up to, with its ‘open door’ asylum-seeker policy? The UK was forced to allow 16 Romanian ‘asylum seekers’ with false documents into Newhaven, UK. Apart from not having genuine papers, they assaulted the crew of the ferry and threatened to throw their own children overboard if they were not allowed to land in Britain! (Sunday Mirror, 3rd March).

The 16 were not hounded by their own government, were not suffering religious hatred, were not attacked for their race, and had no reason to come here – except to get free handouts and to enjoy ripping off UK residents.

Do-gooders claim that their threat to throw their kids overboard was a cry for help…but more hard-nosed realists will say that it was just a ruse. But even if it was a real threat, no parent will throw his kids in to the sea just to get in to another country! No, they are merciless people who should not be welcome in the UK! We will have to pay for them to stay and no doubt they will escape the system and live off crime….or, live by crime and off the state!

They were not arrested for assault, or for having false papers. They were not put in a detention centre for deportation. Instead, they travelled all the way to London by taxi to stay with relatives! They got in to the country far easier than I ever did when I returned from holidays abroad!!

Last week the UK was officially labelled the asylum capital of Europe, because everyone wants to get here, to take of its benefits system. So, we ply people with freebies at the expense of our own citizens, who would not get half what the asylum seekers get, even if they were desperate!

I can tell you friends, I am sick to death with the do-gooder ethos surrounding the ‘poor asylum seekers’. Whilst a small number might be genuine, it seems the majority should not be here and have criminal intent. The mere fact that so many have false papers show that.

Another proof is that they deliberately travel through dozens of other safe countries to get to the UK – which is against all the rules of asylum. But the countries they travel through don’t care, so long as they move on. That’s why France so kindly set up huge camps near the English Channel. They aren’t stupid! We are being forced to take in thousands of undesirables, not by the EC legal barons, but by our own weak-kneed government officials who dare not stand against the fast growing demands made by our new EC masters.

It’s about time our government simply told the EC to shut up and leave us alone! You will find nothing in scripture about having to maintain illegals who hate us.

BTM Publications

We have located a few of the Spirabooks sent out to readers, so we will, hopefully, now begin the laborious task of transcribing them on to computer again. John Napier is our main transcriber, so we thank him in advance!

Meanwhile, we are resuming production of our articles, etc. For example; O/124 Are We Pneumatochians? This examines the claim that ‘reformed’ Christians are against the Holy Spirit, because they are against charismaticism. A/169 Biblical Counsel  can be used with our other ‘counselling’ article. It shows the difference between ‘counselling’ and ‘counsel’, and urges Christians not to resort to counselling…Biblical counsel is the only real help we can give. O/122 Can Philippians 1:15-18 Justify the Alpha Course? O/123 Billy Graham – Apostate. A/160 Antichrist.  A/161 Is There a Muslim threat? (Replaces the outline on Islam). A/162 The Terms we Use – Dogma versus Doctrine. A/165 Benny Hinn, Jesus and Charismatics (A call to any saved charismatics to come out from their beliefs). A/166 Christians and Medicine  (A new movement is starting that stops charismatics from seeing doctors or using medicine). A/167 Election – According to Arminians (40p) (We continue to receive much bitter criticism from Arminians because they don’t believe in Biblically-clear election). A/168 Saved. How Do I Know? (These articles will in time be uploaded to the web site, but if you need them urgently, please email info@christiandoctrine.net , with details of the one you want.)

The web site continues to receive a growing number of supporting emails from around the world, from folk who are grateful we exist and teach true doctrine. Of course, the increase in readers also means an increase in critics, but these are usually easily dealt with, as they often use the same tired clichés and worn phrases, without scriptural truth.

Sadly, few who read the site make a donation. However, we wish to thank those readers of the newsletter who sent us donations but did not require an acknowledgement. Your support is invaluable, friends.

EC Sin-by-Law

I think everybody knows by now what I think of the European Community! Look at what its law-lords did in just one day…

They ruled that a company that sacked a man for smoking cannabis at work was wrong. They said it was no worse than smoking cigarettes and that the company had breached his human rights! Yet, cannabis affects the functioning of the brain. Mostly it makes users plain silly and giggly, but they also have an impaired perception of time, space and persons; their concentration goes to pieces and they can hallucinate. Can you imagine if a doctor or nurse was in this condition at work, and the lives they would ruin or kill? Or, a lorry or ‘bus driver?

The second example was the way the EC said that same-sex marriages must be allowed for sex-change people. Yet, there is no such thing as a ‘sex change’. A person can have bits altered, removed, or even added, but he or she remains the   same sex as at birth! Again, the so-called Human Rights Act has been used to overturn basic logic, decency and good law. If this rule gains ground, then be assured that homosexual marriages will follow immediately. This is bound to happen because, at root, ‘transsexuals’ are homosexuals anyway.

The third case overturned an attempt to prosecute a pub landlord for staging sex acts with rubber blow-up dolls in the street (men with female dolls and women with male dolls). Again, the Human Rights Act was used as precedent, under the heading of ‘freedom of expression’. It is up to society to be ‘broadminded and tolerant’ said a spokeswoman! So, what about the freedom of expression of a rapist…after all, dolls are but a step away?

Friends, we continue to warn against the EC and against the fawning, liberal, godless government we now have. We are fast heading for a fall and God will not allow the situation to continue without some kind of judgement – though I sincerely believe that we are already reaping the just desserts of sin, in increased violence, crime and other ways. I doubt, though, if anyone will take much notice. After all, when homosexuality gave us AIDS few stood against it or even said anything. Now, there are many millions in the world with the evil disease. No doubt the EC sees this, too, as a basic Human Right, a case for freedom of expression!

The Human Rights Convention was set up in 1951 to protect society against genocide and oppression – not to give rights to perverts and criminals. Now, the Human Rights gang are quickly allowing filth and crime easy access to society, where ordinary men who run grocer shops are criminalized for selling goods in pounds and ounces, but sex perverts are paid large sums in compensation for immoral depraved acts.

Leading barrister Martin Howe, QC, believes this to be just the beginning of an increasingly bizarre case load, one that undermines the very fabric of UK society and law. He believes that ordinary people will find themselves powerless to oppose immoral and perverse judgements. I challenge Christians to take courts to task…demanding, by using the very same Human Rights laws, that their freedom of expression has been curtailed because they cannot oppose homosexuality publicly, cannot preach the Gospel, etc. I can guarantee that the EC’s will to uphold freedom of expression will not extend that far!

Watch EC law changes, for ‘freedom of expression’ can cover anything anyone wishes to do. Given the above examples, it can be seen that ‘anything goes’ now, and a Sodom-like state is not too far away. A murderer might enjoy expressing himself in killing others, a paedophile enjoys seducing small children, an adulterer enjoys his ‘flings’…the list of what could be covered by ‘freedom of expression’ is endless and alarming.

Just a Son, or Very God?

My co-workers and I recently had a spate of emails from a man who claimed to be a Christian, yet he did not accept Christ to be God, only a ‘son’. After just a few responses by us, we could see that he was only trying to be clever and we terminated correspondence.

Reader – no man can be a Christian if he does not believe that the Son of God is God Himself. This is because only God could satisfy His own legal requirements concerning sin. In our hundreds of contacts via the internet it is evident that very few people are genuine Christians, for most display an ardent desire to cast aside scripture as it is written, in favour of their own ideas. (See our articles that show Jesus is God).

It is true that we may not know fully that Jesus is also God when we are saved – it depends on how much we learn before salvation. But, there is no excuse for someone claiming to be saved, to ignore or reject that Jesus is God after they have known this essential truth.

Be Careful

As readers can guess, we at BTM receive many communications by email and ordinary mail. The volume is such that I now have to rely on James Waddell and Mike Ford to assist with replies, many of which require deep thought, scriptural research and Biblical counsel.

One thing has struck me over the past few years – perhaps because with the volume comes a broader view of what is going on – it is that a huge number of Christians are living a lie. I don’t mean they are outwardly doing wrong. But, they are fooling themselves in their spiritual lives, which must be damaged by their actions.

Most are very happy to uphold God’s commands. But, Satan usually attacks us at our weakest link, not at those points we think are our strongest. And it is an axiom that our weakest link is also our strongest. If the weakest link is broken, so is the rest of our faith.

I have noted how Christians who need counsel will agree to everything you say from scripture. But, there comes the final point which demands their total and utter surrender to God’s word. At that very point, that crucial juncture, they stop dead in their tracks and refuse to obey!

What this means is that their whole faith is founded on ‘going along’ with what God says. It is not based on truth and personal surrender of all to God. It is based on simply acknowledging God’s demands in our heads but not in our hearts. Thus, a Christian receiving Biblical counsel will baulk at handing over their emotions and trials to God, instead preferring their own solutions. At times this can be very marked.

So as not to identify particular instances, let me illustrate with the election issue, because it is so prevalent in our correspondence with folk. They are so hung-up on thinking God can save everybody, they seem to go blind when it comes to those very clear texts that state God elects or that He predestinates. What is this but sin? What is this but bad teaching? What is this but reliance on self and not on God?

There is a particular problem when it comes to marriage difficulties. I have found that the pastor finds out about the problems only when there is a looming divorce. That means it is all over except for the bit of paper.

Why do people do this? They know that they want ‘out’ and wish not to be reminded of what God says. They scream and rant at each other and refuse blankly to listen to Biblical counsel. They want their own way and allow emotions to rule. In this way they reject God’s counsel via scripture or pastor, and become humanistic, making their ‘faith’ a sham.

Even if they later ‘get back to God’ I can vouch for the fact that their spiritual lives will be irrevocably damaged, for there are always consequences when we refuse God’s counsel, whether by direct reading, prayer, or through an intermediary such as a pastor.

In other cases, I have noted this defiance bound up in emotions, and can only put it down to Satan’s work. Why else should a usually sound Christian suddenly cast aside God’s commands and ways when it comes to the ‘crunch’? The only alternative to this is that the Christian is living a lie, and is only ‘going along’ with God until He steps on their toes. That is, obedience is fine until it requires them to let go of their own answers in a particular aspect of their lives, a part that is close to their hearts. That part is their weakest link.

If that thing they hold so dear is their ’Achilles heel’ then rest assured Satan will know about it and will aim his darts at that link. And if he manages to get us to disobey at that point, he has found a way to control us, even as Christians. How? Because if our dearest thing can be so manipulated by Satan, he will have no problem at all in manipulating the rest, via the ‘weakest link’. He just works backward from that point, leaving the victim unaware that they have lost their spiritual battle.

Note that the person is a victim, not to Satan, but to him or her self, because he or she has deliberately rejected God’s answer. Sometimes they will accept part of God’s answer but will mix it with their own. This can occur if there is an element of revenge or some hidden reasons. Oh how often I have heard ‘forgiveness’ being given, but have noted the eyes full of bitterness or hurt!

Be careful friends. Do not just ‘go along’ with God. You must drink His truth as if it is life-giving water – because that is exactly what it is. If you just ‘go along’ with what God says, you will one day be hit hard at your weakest link and you will not accept the Biblical answers. To be obedient means to be so in your heart as well as in your head.

The difference is alarmingly avoided by most Christians I have come across when they are being given counsel. That is how I know they are in bondage to Satan in a very subtle way. He is out to crush obedience. Don’t let him get away with it. If you do, you will lose your freedom in Christ and your faith will take a downward path making it cold and unresponsive. For more details read the article, ‘Biblical Counsel’.

The Last Days

The text of Revelation 16;13,14 is pertinent to ardent charismatics…

“And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs (come) out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles…”

Though some charismatics are indeed saved, they must come out, or be judged the same. Am I saying that true charismatics are of Satan? Yes, I am, without question and without apology.

Iraq Next

Iraq is about to be the next target for the USA and UK anti-terrorist wars. And rightly so. It is sad, however, that they did not go all the way when they had the option some years ago. Then, they feared a Muslim backlash from other countries. The result was no doubt the horror of September 11th.

When we allow evil to live, we come to reap its results. The new action will probably lead to an increase in Islamic terror attacks, but that will be the price to pay for doing what must be done. Watch the news and relate it all to the end times scenario.

EA Double-Talk

The EA is two-faced without realising it. Thinking it does the work of the Spirit, it denies its own unholy alliances and works. Joel Edwards warns against ‘promoting style over substance’, even though style is what the EA is concerned with.

He says there must be a “sense of calling, a vision which engages and a willingness to take risks.” All this is Arminianism, not God’s word!

The statement is clear proof of this. A minister does not have a ‘sense of calling’ – he knows firmly that he has a calling. To say that we must have a ‘vision that engages’ means we must contrive and invent strategies to win people over – Alpha being the most profitable for Satan nowadays.

A true man of God’s vision will ‘engage’ immediately with whoever and whatever it is meant by God to engage with. No need to invent visions or hold committee meetings to decide on strategy! Willing to take risks? A ‘risk’ means we are unsure of outcome which can be hazardous. When a man is truly called by a godly vision, he will not take risks – he will simply obey the calling, regardless of outcome. This is not a risk but a certainty.

Edwards continues to speak of ‘leadership’ as though it were a management function rather than a calling. He speaks of ‘successful leaders’ whose success is in their ability to be “people orientated”, “able to see beyond the here and now” and are “bold enough to recognise when it is time to pass the baton on.” I know I am being very critical – but the EA needs criticism because of its powerful influence on so many Christians, an influence that is puerile and misleading.

To refer to ‘leaders’ as though they were managers is grossly abusive of the true role of pastors and others called by God. The ‘leader’ must be as orientated to people as God sees fit; his ability to see beyond the here and now is of God, not of human perception; and a man called by God to a ministry has no-one to pass the baton on to, because God always calls individuals to a ministry given to them alone.

In my own ministry I can rely on valuable co-workers to help me with adjuncts to the ministry, but I cannot pass my ministry on to anyone else. Thus, when I leave this world, so does the execution of my ministry…all that might be left is the catalogue of past works that others might wish to continue to read.

Edwards then makes the astonishing statement that “God’s future agenda depends on present investment” (by people)!! This is an amazing admission of reliance by Edwards on charismatic heresy! It says that God depends on us to make His plans work!

Edwards also maintains that we must give leadership roles to young people because they are young. This runs contrary to scripture, which tells us to respect the zeal of the young, but to give eldership to those who are…older. Also, it is up to God to give His calling to whomever He wishes  - it is not up to us to make leaders out of youngsters.

The EA is to embark on a massive advertising and marketing campaign in April, culminating in a final bill-poster campaign in September, concentrating on ‘mission’. Once again, emphasis is put on what we as human beings can devise and accomplish, with God being ‘offered’ the results for approval and rubber-stamping.

We are told that the campaign will “engage with Britain’s movers and shakers…politicians, community leaders and the media…” The idea is to promote the gospel as the ‘antidote to many of society’s ills’. Friends, this is sheer Arminianism and it is highly prevalent in charismatic circles, where social involvement is a higher priority than obedience and the true Gospel. All of this sounds nothing like scriptural Gospel preaching….because it isn’t.

That’s What Scripture Says!

It seems that Japanese scientists think there is five times more water under the earth than is on the surface, trapped in a layer 1400 miles thick. Perhaps they should have read the Flood account before spending money on their researches!

An Example of ‘One World’

Infamous Robert Schuller, known for his ‘glass cathedral’ and massive income, has a special wing in his church for Muslims to worship in! Pastor Bill Hybels of Willow Creek, mentored by Schuller, has a similar attitude toward the unsaved and his services are ‘seeker sensitive’ (i.e. find out what the community wants, then give it)! Very much like Alpha.

(See article on Willow Creek strategy).

Another Example

A state-funded school in Byron, USA, has officially introduced Islam in to its curriculum without notifying, or discussing it with, parents. Though this caused an outcry, the principal refuses to alter his mind, because the school board of California says it must happen. See how easy it will be to make all religions acceptable and as one?

Foul-Mouthed Copeland

Maybe our pro-charismatic friends should consider a quote made by Kenneth Copeland recently on TV. He said that the “biggest failure in the Bible is God”!! This is out and out blasphemy, yet millions follow the man. It shows just how deluded they are, doesn’t it? How evil is charismaticism!
