Immoral Bucks

Thomas Cook is the first mainstream travel agent to offer gay breaks at its 700 UK agencies – proof that the mighty buck easily overturns morality.

By doing this, the once respected travel company joins the ranks of the immoral, for to offer the holidays is to join with immorality.

I remember my mother going to Salu in Spain some years ago, with several grandchildren. She was shocked and appalled when the beach was suddenly filled with homosexuals, whose activities left nothing to the imagination. I know what she meant – homosexuals in large groups tend to be outrageous and, well, filthy.

On that beach they laughed as ordinary holiday makers tried to get out of their way. Then they did things that should have brought the law on their heads. I decided that I would not go to Salu for a holiday in the future. For the same reason I would not go to San Francisco. As a Christian why should I go to a place that flaunted sodomy?

Homosexuality is immoral and a perversion. That nations now allow it to flourish unopposed is a shame. It is also very foolish, for homosexuality brings AIDS and many other diseases in its wake. Now, Thomas Cook is to push the sin of homosexuality in ordinary people’s faces by deliberately collecting together homosexuals at a holiday destination!

Though the massive homosexual lobby strenuously denies it, many homosexuals have a penchant for young children (as police cases prove). Thus they will be at risk wherever homosexuals are. Would you place your child’s life at risk by going to a place where homosexuals congregate? Do you want to witness the actions of men and women who openly flaunt their godlessness, when you are on holiday?

Will Thomas Cook warn other holiday makers who book with them, that there is a contingency of homosexuals at their hotel? If I found such a group where I stayed, I would demand my money back!!

Catering for perversions is not the way to go. Homosexuals currently book holidays anyway. But, for a company to cash in on immorality and perversion is beyond decency. Thomas Cook, by offering these holidays, is forcing its staff to be linked with the provision of sodomite venues. That makes it a form of abuse, by foisting an immorality upon its workers. Will the workers protest? Hardly – they want to keep their jobs!

Society is being permeated by the idea of sodomy. Yet, the majority of people are not convinced by homosexual pleas of ‘equality’. The reason is simple – conscience and common sense tells them that homosexuality is a perversion, a sexual choice and no more. Don’t be fooled by propaganda.

An homosexual is a man or woman who deliberately chooses sex with someone of the same gender. It is a wrong choice, just like paedophilia, necrophilia and sex with animals!! There is no such thing as ‘homosexuality’...only men and women who choose to have perverted sex. It becomes a ‘lifestyle’ only when these people cling together...because they enjoy the same sexual choices.

If I knew a hotel was to have a grouping of homosexuals, I would not go there on that occasion. If I knew that the hotel continually and deliberately had such groups, I would avoid that place altogether, just as I would not go to a restaurant or any other venue where homosexuals tended to congregate.  What is provided might be okay, but it would disgust me to be in the company of homosexuals for a social outing or activity. To be in the same place would be to condone them, if only silently.

So, Thomas Cook, count me out for future holidays! A similar article appears on our web site news section, so I hope that many thousands of Christians worldwide will likewise strike Thomas Cook off their holiday buying list.

Despite pseudo-research by pro-homosexuals, there are no scientific or medical evidences to support the claim that homosexuality is ‘natural’, or that it is some kind of ‘condition’.

Homosexuality destroys society as a whole. It is a vehicle for lust and is not ‘equal’ to heterosexuality. It abuses the body and prevents normal relationships).

More EU Bad News

The EU smells to heaven. We have already shown this. Here is another scandal of the EU, to show how corrupt it really is. We can expect far more than this, and I have no doubt that the EU is riddled with a corrupt heart that few of us will ever come to discern in full.

The fault for this system can be laid at the feet of every single person who voted-in the EU itself some years ago, and later voted-in pro-EU political parties, despite many warnings about the evil nature of this one-world system. (Source: Daily Telegraph, 27th June).

Most people know the pivotal place held by Belgium in the EU leadership. Belgium has just started a six month stint in charge of the EU. But do you know what’s been going on?

Readers have been warned about organised criminal gangs ‘somehow’ getting in to the UK via the EU, some posing as ordinary migrants and some as ‘refugees’. Well, this ‘somehow’ route of entry has been identified – Belgian officials have been providing organised crime members with illegal EU entry visas for many years! Let us all applaude Belgium!!

Belgium’s foreign ministry involvement in the wholesale movement of criminals in to the UK is now discovered as Flemish EU members call for a full commission of enquiry. But, with typical EU arrogance, dismissive as ever of public concerns, Belgian government simply brushes it aside, just in case the news upsets its presidency of the EU!! The Foreign Minister (who is in charge of the very same ministry issuing the false visas) said that to deal with the matter now would damage the country’s image!!

A senior Belgian diplomat has even filed a lawsuit because the Belgian embassy in Bulgaria sold entry visas to Balkan and Russian gang members...many of whom came to the UK, wreaking havoc and bringing in a fresh and more violent class of criminal. This is beside yet another scandal in which Belgium sold ‘red cards’ to Russian gangsters. Red cards give diplomatic immunity to those carrying them!

As the story unfolds, another case has opened on the Belgian illegal sale of visas in Nigeria. We are talking about high level involvement...ambassadors, too. Apparently, many ‘sales’ are laundered through companies set up by criminals as ‘fronts’ to obtain work visas...a fact known to Belgian officials, who made mighty big bucks whilst allowing vicious criminals access to the UK and other EU countries. What this really means is that criminals ‘own’ the EU visa system.

Belgian police have said that Scandinavian and Swedish embassies were almost impossible to bribe, and the British Embassy is “one of the most difficult”. But, if Belgium is issuing false visas, the good status of UK embassies makes no difference, because the criminals get in anyway. Added to this, the French are taking bribes from gypsies and Turks. Note the large numbers of  foreign gypsies who reach UK shores?

The point is this – once someone has a EU visa, he can travel anywhere within the EU with impunity. And we can do nothing to stop it. The senior diplomats who are involved have all been promoted! Forgive my cynicism, but does this not suggest that their boss, the Foreign Minister, is using bribes to shut their mouths when investigations open this can of worms?

The Belgian official who is suing her own government over this scandal, has been joined by an anti-Mafia lawyer...but will they live long enough to bring the case to court? The EU is corrupt through and through. It is dismantling everything Christian that made the UK great. And it sends us criminals of a ferocity that makes even our own ‘hard men’ run in fear. God help the UK for adopting the EU masters via the Labour government and all who welcome this godless system for their own greedy and wicked ends.

The Alpha Deception

I received a reader’s letter saying that her church had read our material on Alpha and thought it was very good. Yet, they continued to teach Alpha because they said they do not ‘do the zapping bit’, so that made it okay!

Apart from the fact that our reader says they do ‘zap’ (the section where hands are laid on people to ‘receive the Holy Spirit’, usually to speak in tongues, etc), it ought to be pointed out that it does not matter if no-one is ‘zapped’...the whole thing is wrong. Simply letting Alpha in to your church is sufficient for Satan to fire his darts through the chink!

Alpha itself is Arminian and is not of the true Gospel. It does not teach scripture, but men’s idea of scripture. Alpha is a deception. Its purpose is to mislead and to deceive, so that men and women will become more and more open to all kinds of spiritual error.

That church (in Bournemouth, UK) has opened itself up to the wrath of God. It must cast out Alpha with everything it is linked with. Otherwise, error will become its way of life and God will remove His active presence.

The same church (quite well known) allowed a visiting preacher’s son to get up in the pulpit to perform magic tricks. Also, a Moorlands Bible College student used a large electric car to ‘illustrate’ his sermon, causing it to whiz up and down the aisles. When challenged for allowing this kind of activity to occur, the members said it was ‘not done’ to stop preachers doing whatever they wished! What do they think God will do?

The Apostles did not perform magic tricks or use novelty means to attract attention! They simply spoke as the Spirit prompted. It is the Holy Spirit Who attracts and brings results, not human means.

I was told recently by another ‘ministry’ that it was not right to judge others or to tell them they are wrong. Maybe the critic ought to read scripture, for there we are told to judge our fellows and to fight error.

Listening to a Salvation Army officer on radio recently, I was again struck by the godless nature of Alpha. Many times I have noted that all praise for so-called ‘being saved’ is given to Alpha and not to God. The officer said he hoped that Geoffrey Archer, just sent to prison, would ‘come under the influence of the Alpha course’! No mention of hearing the true Gospel, or of being witnessed to by a believer. No, here is another example of how people perceive the Alpha course – as being wonderful in its own right. Time and again this self-praise comes out, further displaying its evil source.

All the correspondence I have received asks us to keep on sending out The Beacon monthly. So, we will.

What is Unity?

We keep getting correspondence from Arminians, particularly on our web site, who insist that we must strive for unity and not division. What they refer to is our strong work against error. We have had to spell out that God’s word commands us to oppose error and to judge our fellow Believers – before the world does so.

Only last Sunday we looked at a portion of Ephesians and could only conclude, along with many other texts, that unity is only possible when we know the truth and act on it. The truth is not made up of countless human opinions, but of the fixed and eternal verities of God. We may not interpret as we feel, but only as the texts allow...and these do not allow freedom to guess or to give our own opinions!

To this end I will be writing a Spirabook on the proper interpretation of scripture. More on this when it is completed. Many problems arise in our reformed churches because Christians simply do not know how to read their Bibles or how to interpret what they read. Sadly, they think that they can ‘interpret’ as they wish, and this cavalier approach is encouraged by their pastors and friends.

Also, they imbibe a little bit of this and a bit of that, gleaned from all kinds of diverse sources, many of which are highly suspect. (Our call is always God’s word alone). 

The net result of all this random learning is a very loose and groundless basis on which to put one’s supposed faith. It leads to a careless attitude, that could not really bother about error or about truth. ‘Faith’, then, becomes a personalised belief system that barely recognises scripture or its rule in our lives.

Real Christian unity demands belief in the same things, and of the same nature. (See portions of Ephesians, et al, for examples of this). Texts tell us clearly that unity means believing the same interpretations as well as everyone being saved. There is very little opportunity for us to interpret freely, because otherwise we are assuming that God’s word is variable and without firm meaning.

Interfacing With the Community!

In an article above, on Alpha, I referred to a Salvation Army officer who hoped a disgraced MP would ‘come under the influence’ of the course.

He was being interviewed about his part in organising something called ‘More Than Gold’. As you might know, missions were held at the last Olympic Games. This man was part of that, too. Now, he is heading the mission for the coming Commonwealth Games, to be held in Manchester, UK.

According to him ‘all the churches’ in Manchester were supporting the venture, to ‘reach’ the many visitors to the area at the time of the games. It all seems to be okay...but listen to the talk! He said that they were ‘using sport to interface with the community in Manchester’ with an organisation ‘that we created’.

Again, no talk of God leading men, with a burden for souls, to evangelise people. Instead, he used words found in business. Buzz-words that are meaningless.  Note that they created an organisation – God did not cause them, by sheer Holy Spirit conviction, to pray and begin a true ministry.

Think I’m just being hard? Well, look at what they intend doing as ‘evangelism’...street theatre, puppetry, clowning, face painting, rock bands...the usual charismatic/ecumenical falsity. And where will people be sent if they wish to ‘take up God’s offer’? Why, to Alpha churches, of course! It is all very depressing.

The Body’s Smaller Members

Our post and web site bags are quite diverse in their contents. Some of the nicest are letters from folk who have had to start their own fellowships.

Typically, many think they are ‘forced out’ of their churches. This was especially the case when the Toronto Blessing blasted its way through the West. But, in scripture, God says that He actively removes faithful men and women from the influence of bad pastors! This ought to change the perception of so many arrogant people who automatically look down their noses at men and women who have had to take this drastic step. They are not ‘backsliders’ – they are brave and obedient servants who, sick of falsity, have to move on.

Some remain on their own, because they have no marriage partner or family. Some meet as married couples only. Some meet with a small group of friends, whilst others can be about 20 or more strong. No matter what the number is, they all have one thing in common – they left their former churches because they were led to do so by the Holy Spirit.

Yes, it is always very hard and very traumatic to take such a step. Fear can grip the heart simply because the step is in to an unknown future. What will we do without the local church we have known from birth? Surprisingly, after the initial shock and adjustment, we will do quite nicely, thank you!

Since the Toronto fiasco, letters confirm that new local churches have been formed with a thriving and faithful heart. They usually meet in homes. Some hire a small hall. But all are honest, open to God and have a hunger for true doctrine! 

We thank God that BTM has had a share in this movement of Christians, which is gaining in momentum – we have rarely advised people to leave any particular local church, but our literature and personal letters have often been used to support them. 

What adds weight to our position is that we have gone through the same trauma ourselves and God has rewarded us with many blessings. If some of you know the Holy Spirit is calling you to leave your bad pastors behind, then you must obey, right now. He will do the rest...and will not leave you stranded.

The Body of Christ is often made up of these smallest of members. So, just ‘hang on in there’!!

Congratulations!

Two of BTM’s co-workers have tied the knot! For several reasons we were unable to attend the wedding in Manchester, but we congratulate Natasha Thomas and Paul Sharples on their recent wedding.

The two are ‘red-hot’ in their desire to serve God and offered to assist us as computer experts, after reading our web site. Between us we have several ventures to sort out, as God leads. I am grateful to them both for their zeal and skills and pray that Mr and Mrs Sharples will enjoy their lives together and that they will remain faithful to God in truth as well as in love.

Brands Are Just Red Herrings

Branding can be a very cynical exploitation of human gullibility. Many brands of products we buy are owned by the same companies. Take the soap-sud industry...just one or two huge businesses own all the brands of washing powder we buy today. 

Thus, if we reject one brand we are sure to buy one of the others! Same goes for beans...buy an ‘own brand’ can of beans and you get a more expensive bean ‘watered down’ with more juice, that’s all. So, you buy the main brand anyway, but with another label!!

The same principle is found in brands of religion. In particular I am thinking of Pentecostal ‘brands’. Even amongst Pentecostals there is a seeming lack of knowledge of their own roots – Azusa Street with its spiritualism and earlier occult links. 

So, when I read of Pentecostals say they reject charismaticism, I see people who have simply chosen another brand, but of the same cult. It does not matter whether a man is Pentecostal or wildly charismatic, because they both come from the same stock.

The only answer is to totally reject all forms of denominationalism, because denominations are unbiblical and divisive. Scripture expects us to follow Jesus, not men. So, Pentecostalists, don’t fool yourself by rejecting charismaticism whilst insisting on retaining your Pentecostal roots. The only thing that will convince us, is your adherence to God’s word alone, not to any particular group.

AIDS

 The idea to promote ‘safe sex’ to combat AIDS was a disaster. At the time it was mooted I made public statements saying that the campaign would merely lull people in to thinking safer sex was the answer – when, all along, the only answer was sex within marriage only, and no other partners. I carried on this response for several years until the press got tired of my repeated demands for godly sexual relations.

Now, we find that there has been a sharp rise in HIV cases. The news came from the pro-life group, LIFE. It says that since the ‘safer sex’ message has been preached, there is no evidence whatever that it has had any effect. Instead, it says, it has actually helped to spread HIV...something I warned about in earnest even before the ‘safer sex’ campaign was started! I also forecast an increase in other sexually transmitted diseases...and these are also on the increase as younger people in particular do whatever they like, without censure. It is this censure that is missing. There have always been illicit sexual relationships, but when people are censured for them, they are very few by comparison.

Rate of AIDS increase is up 14% this year alone, and is set to increase even more. I stifle a yawn as LIFE says the only way to slow down this plague is to adopt a less promiscuous lifestyle! When I first publicly opposed the calls of homosexuality for a more open attitude toward AIDS, I warned that they would try to '‘spread' the blame for AIDS on to heterosexuals, even though all the health figures pointed to them as the cause of spread! This they did and still do.

I also warned that safer sex was not the answer – only single partner sex within marriage would stop AIDS in its tracks. But government and pro-homosexual lobbies shouted me down and liberals gained the upper ground. As a result, AIDS is again blooming, like a cancer that erupts through the skin, showing its malignant heart!

Friends, never give way to homosexuality, not even in the smallest sympathy. Homosexuals defy God and are corrupt to their very core. It is true that heterosexuals now help to spread AIDS by their promiscuity, but initial blame is still with homosexuality, which accounts for the majority of cases.

The Disheartening Truth

Even as I write this short news item, I am aware that the title is wrong! Though many news items can be very disturbing and even personally disastrous at times, the truth should not itself be disheartening. Truth should be used as a springboard for action, in an effort to present that truth to those affected by lies. Anyway...

In a sense it is disheartening, that the Evangelical Alliance has gained another 80 new members in the last six months (EA press release, 26th July).

It is my opinion, based on several years observation, personal contact with EA leaders, and on scriptural reflection, that the EA is simply a distraction, an irrelevance to church life. Yet, 80 more churches and organisations have now joined. 

The disheartening part is that those who call themselves Christian should join the EA for any reason, given the EA’s definite Arminian, pro-Alpha, pro-charismatic (and, by definition, pro-Catholic – though it might hedge its bets on this one for a while) stance. It is disheartening that the Church should be dogged by such lack of discernment. However, many of the churches and organisations are themselves pro-charismatic, etc.

Basically, the EA is fast becoming the No. 1 repository for unbiblical groups and individuals, slowly shedding any semblance it once had of being there to ‘unite’ Christians. What it is really doing is to unite a vast variety of groups that, again by definition, are moving toward union with Rome. Why ‘by definition’? If you note the increasingly charismatic membership role and know anything about charismatic theology, you will know that it embraces the RC renewal movement and Rome itself.
