Bad Government

Tony Blair, in typically Marxist style, is going to spend millions of pounds on propaganda to brainwash the UK public into accepting the many enforcements of the EU. This is very like the way fifth columnists operated in the time of Elizabeth the First!

Cynically, Blair thinks he can get away with anything, and by using the law he does just that! Like so many other pressure groups in the UK, Blair and his Labourites are forcing the UK into their own Marxist mould, using fascist methods.

Blair wants to overcome strong British opposition to the EU and will forge secret links with Brussels. This was agreed in cabinet by Blair and his cronies. By doing so they again prove their disdain for the public. The way they are forcing us to accept homosexuality is just one strand in the totalitarianism displayed by this government.

The Mail on Sunday obtained documents on this secret activity, which say Blair is frustrated by his lack of success in persuading us to be pawns of the EU. So, he is (again!) using public funds to put his case forward… and we already know from his previous ventures that a lot of lies will have to be told to accomplish it, via ‘brainwashing’ the public.

Part of his strategy is to ban ministers and top officials from referring to anything we dislike about the EU (what – everything??) by name, such as ‘EU Directive’, etc. Instead, they will soften the image by only referring to the European Song Contest, the Cannes Film Festival, etc!! Thus they hope we will completely miss the important stuff such as handing our sovereignty over to a foreign power, removing our civil rights, creating a vast federal army, and imposing thousands of useless and immoral policies and laws on us, when we want none of it. As part of this huge campaign of lies, Blair is appointing spin-doctors for every department, and they will spin some wondrous pro-EU stories to lure us into acceptance! Those of us who are older, or lacking in education, will be ignored, because we are not gullible, but the young will have an appetite for all things EU… just tell them lovely things about it, and don’t mention the war! Yes, Blair said it all!

The plans have been drawn up by Blair’s own spin-doctor, Howell James, who is a close friend of EU Commissioner, Peter Mandelson. It seems that James had a gay relationship with a man who became Mandelson’s partner. Hence the gay connection! It was this connection that supposedly led to James’ appointment. (Re Mail on Sunday)

The reason for the ‘big push’ is that the EU is reviving the idea of an EU Constitution (which would make the UK useless as a country and a mere local area within Europe, imposing a Marxist-fascist rule on all of the north-west hemisphere).

Once again I say, Blair’s government is treasonous, handing Britain to a foreign ruler, even though France and the Netherlands rejected a Constitution last year.

Thus the UK and other European countries are to be given a revamped ‘kit’ to help persuade people to agree to the EU’s every whim. The kit will contain a new approach to persuasion, designed to bamboozle younger people, using softer language with rarely a mention of the EU, which will be downplayed. This is exactly the strategy used to persuade the public about accepting homosexuality!

James complained to the cabinet that he was concerned by the continuous indifference and apathy about the EU and that “Ministers must claim victories for Brussels, not Britain”!!! Why are we allowing these turncoats to ruin Britain and lead us into a new kind of slavery?

Any EU stories will be ‘dumbed-down’ and presented in a newer way, a bit like Jackanory-for-the-gullible. A host of ‘friendly themes’ will replace anything about institutions, laws, etc. (like the audacious and moronic Human Rights laws that are ruining our country?). Pro-European politicians will be replaced by voices of pro-European celebrities. Thus we are being reduced to a political version of Big Brother, with all its attendant dumb fools.

This Marxist strategy is called ‘Reframing the Debate’, in which what we hate about the EU (everything) is replaced by ‘friendlier’ ‘warm’ themes, thus rebranding the EU. A new network of spin doctors has been hired within the various departments, headed by a coordinator. These will have a rolling programme of EU stories, that will be rewritten in popular style, avoiding the real big ones such as continuing legal restrictions, the proposed EU army, and so on… and, of course, the billions the EU is costing us just to be a member! We will be fed with a continuous stream of pro-EU stories, so that we become quickly desensitised to them. We repeat – this is exactly how the government forced us to accept homosexuality, even though it has nothing commendable to offer the country and it brings in gross immorality and high health costs.

You might object to our calling all this ‘Marxist’ and ‘fascist’, but the network of spin-doctors will prove our point. They intend censoring all EU news releases, to make sure only the fluffy and airy items are shown to the public. Sensitive and heavy stuff will be removed, so that Britain will no longer hear what is genuine – such as happened in Stalinist Russia and Hitler’s Germany. Blair must go! His legacy must be removed and replaced by freedom. Even if, as a Christian, you find action distasteful, you owe it to your children and their children to keep them safe and away from harm.

We tell you openly right now: we do not like our government. Time and again new revelations about its evils are being published. But what do Christians do about it? Nothing. I must be frank, my love for living in the UK has diminished to nothing over the past five years and I am struggling to feel attached to this country.

Prayer is the only spiritual response, but only if God has prompted us to pray. Apart from that, are we to just sit back and allow government to walk all over us? I don’t think so. It is our duty in general to pray for our rulers, but when they disobey God and lead us into evil, we should pray for their downfall.

The present Labour government is closer to early communistic Russia than you might think (see article detailed later). What we are seeing is a repeat of Marxism. It is what is behind homosexual activism, as well as our crushing taxation and ignoring of public opinion. I would like to say – as I used to – that the Tory Party is the best alternative.

Now, I cannot say that. The Tories were lost as soon as Margaret Thatcher left government! Now, they are as Marxist as the Labourites, running around like sycophants after the gay vote, rather than uphold family values. David Cameron is a Great Pretender, coming up with illusions and tricks rather than true values and policies. If he thinks that pandering to immorality works, then he can keep his ideas to himself. They are worthless. Advertising guru Lord Saatchi, said that Cameron will say anything to get elected and describes Tory activities as the “moral void” (Source: Daily Mail, 21^st November, from a paper produced for the Centre for Policy Studies).

Saatchi correctly says that the British public no longer believe anything politicians tell them. And, they do not care who says what because they are all the same. He says that the Tories are following the ‘myth of the centre’, that is, making all their so-called policies so bland as to be insipid, in order to gather in as many votes as possible. No morality and no genuine aspiration to govern wisely! Just a desire to get in office, to get paid big bucks and to deceive the public as usual. Saatchi says that Cameron will fail if he thinks he can simply use socialist tactics. What is needed are real policies based on what people truly want… morality and well-being.

B.A. has now relented over that stupid incident with a woman employee wearing a cross. But, the real issue is with government, for B.A. is only following the ethos of Labour’s socialistic, Marxist ideas – the putting-down of religion in favour of outright immorality and anti-religious feeling. It took the intervention of the Archbishop of York to bring the matter to a speedier conclusion.

Tony Blair went to Afghanistan to address the troops. The troops all turned up smartly, standing to attention. Good old Tony dressed casually, without a tie. Critics rightly said that this shows his contempt for the troops. If he thinks dressing casually is a substitute for truth and effort, he is mistaken.

Gordon Brown did a similar thing in Iraq. How stupid do these men think the troops are? The troops spent hours making sure they were presentable, but their leaders thought they would use advertising standards to win them over!

Blair loves to posture overseas. He thinks he is a Churchill or Nelson, but he is, in reality a dictatorial Napoleon and just as tall, morally! Or a Hitler, stepping on all who oppose him.

As he tries to look important overseas, his rule at home is like that of a tin-pot Hitler. He is failing drastically, and his government is constantly lying. To this day I cannot understand why people were so bowled-over by him, enough to elect him and Labour to office! The warning signs were rife, even before election came along, but no-one took notice. In knee-jerk fashion they wanted the Tories out, and, instead elected a government that would, and continues to, press them like grapes! In politics there are heavy consequences for being foolish!

This government has passed more ridiculous laws than any I can think of. They make no difference to the running of the country, but they place a huge burden on us all. Make no mistake – this government is out to bind us in chains and crush every ounce of independence. The EU is obeyed blindly by Blair… but, of course, he will no doubt get some kind of kick-back in the future, possibly by ‘representing’ us (Huh!) in the phantom EU parliament… you know, that vile organisation that loves to bring us to our knees as a country.

In just 12 months, Labour passed a staggering 3,621 laws! (Source: ‘How to Label a Goat’’, by Ross Clark, Harriman House. It lists all the stupid laws in detail). And over 3,000 new criminal offences have been introduced. Another sign of Marxist ideology. Look at what these laws have accomplished…

Serial killer Dennis Nilsen won a case under the Human Rights Act, to have hard-core pornography in his cell, because refusal was against his human rights. (Anyone who has had to retain such men, as I have, will know how pornography makes killers even worse in a locked environment).

An arsonist got away with appealing to have a cigarette lighter on her person, after being denied it by a court, for the same reason. (I remember removing a lighter from a patient because he threatened to burn down the hospital. It was returned to him because I had ‘infringed his liberty’. He later set fire to a toilet block, causing extensive damage!). In Cheltenham the council refused to allow its gardeners to plant flowers in the town centre, because they might hurt their wrists.

Before moving a goat from one field to another, a farmer now has to make out two forms. When the farmer moves the goat, he has to carry the forms with him, from one field to another. It took 45 pages of law to detail all this, and many man-hours of legal experts to do so! The DVLA removed a number from its licence plate list just in case it offended Germans (GO5TEP)!!!

A Bristol pub landlady was given an ASBO because the pub is signed ‘The Porking Yard’. Though no complaint was received, the council did so because the sign ‘might offend Muslims’! Yet, the pub stands on a street that was called Pork Alley, because it used to house several butchers’ shops.

Another landlady in Somerset was visited by police after she put a Welsh flag up during an England v Wales archery competition held locally. The charge was that she was inciting racial hatred!

Employers cannot hold important meetings on October 31^st just in case it offends pagans. But, of course, they can do anything they like on days observed by Christians.

The NHS, struggling to keep afloat, now has 264,012 administrators – but only 175,646 beds! Older nurses like myself remember working in hospitals run by one matron and a voluntary management board! As I said before, I can walk around any hospital and point out where money is being wasted. Administrative staff are just one huge drain on cash. Including the useless 42 quangos.

The Communications Act 2003 (brought in by Labour!) allows government to advertise its wares, whether lies or truth (!), but prevents anyone else from placing ads complaining about government foreign policies, or to save our hospitals, etc. Is it too hard to think of all these things as being fascist?

To comply with political correctness, the chief of North Wales police is going to recruit Polish officers, even though this will deny UK applicants a place. The reason? They want the officers to speak the language of the many Polish people now flooding into the area! As this is the UK, why not demand that the immigrants speak English instead?

“Does anyone in this country seriously believe that a Centre-Left European government such as Tony Blair’s truly intends to ‘give people control over their lives’? The whole urge of social democratic politicians is to interfere. To fiddle.” (Source: ‘Yesterday in Parliament’, Daily Mail, 21st November).

Then we have prisoners, killers and violent men, who have their prison pay topped up with tax credits amounting to about £2,300 a year. Our government is so kind – but not to the deserving!

Hospitals are being forced to spend thousands of their budget on advertising for patients, because of government rulings. The immigration rules are another shambles, according to insiders. As for those countries who have newly joined the EU, our government promised us (!!) that only 1000 a month would be allowed into the country. Thus far a staggering 1000 A DAY are flooding in. We have said it before – the UK is heading for melt-down and intense social unrest.

Our government decided it was a great idea to give explicit sex lessons to our children. But a major study proves this was a stupid idea as teenage pregnancies are rising. When abortion on demand was brought in (1967) it was supposed to stop these pregnancies and reduce abortions. It did neither and both abortions and pregnancies increased dramatically and have never slowed down.

Everything the government does outside of godly laws and justice fails miserably and makes everything worse.

What about the recent revelation that Labour is siphoning off our taxes to fund itself and to win elections? Over £2 million a year is being given to the government by Labour councillors, who are paid by local taxes to deal with local issues. The Daily Mail rightly calls it a ‘secret scam’. Police are ready to arrest senior Labour figures over the ‘peerages for cash’ scandal. Where does this government stop its cynical exploitation of the public? It doesn’t!

And did you know that economists working for Gordon Brown have been warning him for years, that his taxation policies are ruining our economy? And that his heavy multiple taxations of business are bringing businessmen to their knees? But does he listen? Of course not! Labour is creating yet another smokescreen to make people think they’re doing a good job… but after hitting us with tax after tax and lying consistently, the ploy is not working.

A few days ago the government rolled out its claim that 24-hour drinking laws have reduced violence and alcohol-fuelled crimes on the streets. Research has shown that this is a direct lie! They have increased (what a surprise).

Meanwhile, the socialist EU sent EU officials, including Glenys Kinnock, to Barbados to discuss world poverty. So, they danced the night away, had countless cocktails and went to bed in their five star hotel. That helped a whole village in Africa, where its babies are dying of starvation. I am sure of that.

Labour’s judges have already had a long list of words they must no longer use when dealing with homosexuals. Now, teenage muggers and burglars may not be called ‘villains’. They must be called ‘trainees’! No, I’m not kidding. And only about half of offenders receive any kind of court appearance and face retribution. Most of them are just told off by police officers. Contrast that with the eagerness of police to intimidate Christians whose only ‘crime’ is to speak out against homosexuality!!

And we have the government’s wickedness exposed in the way it refuses treatment for Alzheimer’s and cancers, but lavishes expensive treatments on homosexuals with AIDS!

But, there is some hope – not from the government, but from individuals. Christmas has a notional Christian basis, but both Muslim and Christian groups have now warned local councils to keep their hands off Christmas. They have told them to allow Christmas to carry on as Christmas, or else.

Councils have disbanded Christmas over time, for fear of causing offence to those of other faiths. One officious and stupid council leader even said they had banned all mention of Christmas because it only referred to Christians. It is sometimes hard to understand where these people buy their brains from! Why can’t people celebrate their own festivals, without this communistic interference?

However, it is okay for Home Office staff to belong to Islamic terror groups. It is their human right to do so. And the BBC is trying to make it policy to give ‘equal coverage’ to Islamic terrorist groups who wish to give their side of the story!

Like charging motorists £1.50 a mile for driving on motorways, when we already pay enormous taxes for roads? At the same time, Labour-held councils are refusing to give help to bedfast pensioners in their homes, because it costs too much. So, where do the taxes go, then? They go to fund gay activist groups, and minority groups.

What about the brave police senior who said “We are supposed not to zone-in on black youths in London when we stop and search… but it is a fact that the majority of crimes in the area are done by black youths!”

And did you know that Gordon Brown has introduced over 300 new ‘stealth taxes’ that cripple us individuals? I have given a lot of space to showing how wicked this government is. If people vote for them again, well, they will drive us to the wall. But, even if Labour loses (I pray they will), unless Cameron discards his ‘stupid head’ and gets back to godly policies, we will have no real reason to rejoice.

Warped Values

If children eat the wrong foods, it could, possibly, lead to heart disease, strokes and diabetes in the future. So, the government is right to bring in measures to combat the problem, even though many who eat bad foods will not suffer these conditions.

But, perhaps the government can tell us why it is not combating a far more hostile and aggressive problem affecting children, and which has a 100% death rate? We are talking about AIDS.

Whilst government is leading the way with food-related conditions that may, or may not, lead to fatality, it is merrily pushing children into homosexuality, a prime source of AIDS, which is always, without fail, 100% fatal!

How can ministers hotly attack bad foods, and yet allow homosexual groups to teach our children how to contract HIV and AIDS, in our schools? ASK ‘WHY?’ before it is too late!

Our Gutless Society

Everybody wants to sue everybody. No-one can take criticism, whether moral or otherwise. We can’t just argue a topic – we must now be thrown into prison for saying what someone else doesn’t like!

And now we have soldiers who moan about how long they are away from home for! For goodness sake, are our armed forces filled with 9 - 5’ers whose main concern is to have weekends off with their families? Yes, it is great to do that, but when you join the armed forces you are there with the specific possibility of being sent away to a place of war!!

Maybe our modern forces’ personnel should be somehow translated back to the Second World War, when some men were away for five years!! Where is their backbone? Where is their commitment? And why do TV companies spend so much time spreading demoralisation by telling everyone how miserable soldiers are?

And even worse, one soldier was recently awarded compensation because he saw a colleague’s arm blown off. For goodness sake! Can I get compensation, along with thousands of other nurses, because I have seen hundreds dying? Soldiers sign up for war, so what else do they expect to see? The UK is being filled with people who have no courage or honour. Our government is mainly to blame, but behind our puppet government is the monstrous EU, dictating everything to everybody. What a mess we are in!

“But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the LORD doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.” (Exodus 11:7)

Don’t cower to dogs. Don’t think your enemies have a hold on you. The worse they get the more they show God’s glory. God will not allow even a dog’s tongue to touch you. Everything is in His control. The wickedness of homosexuals and others occurs because God has hardened their hearts, not because they desire to be that way. Their end, except they repent (and few will), will not just be death, it will be eternal damnation. They think they have chosen their way of life. They are unaware that Satan is their master, and he has been given authority to drive them like cattle to their destruction.

Crucifixion

I watched a very interesting TV program recently, on crucifixion. The presenter, an archaeologist, wanted to know, why, if there were so many crucifixions, there were no proofs.

The reason was given by a Jewish archaeologist. He said that Jews and gentiles alike used to take the iron nails from the dead victims. They then fashioned them into amulets for ‘good luck’! Hence, no examples of crucifixion nails are ever found. That is, but one. One such nail exists in the world, in Israel. It is fixed through a heel bone.

Of course, bodies were usually left on crosses or stakes, so that animals could eat the lower parts and birds could eat the upper parts. So, no evidence would come from bodies.

There were many kinds of crucifixion, using ropes and a selection of positions and crosses or stakes. Apparently, what determined when iron nails were used, depended on the purpose of the killing. When there were large numbers of killings, ropes were used to cut down on labour. But if the Romans wanted to make an example of someone, they used nails, to humiliate the victim and make him an example to others.

Other facts emerged. A pathologist in the USA has been conducting experiments. His son, now a retired judge, helps him by being the ‘victim’. Using specially made leather gloves, the man is crucified on a cross, but without nails actually entering his body. He has electronic equipment attached to him to record his reactions. It is all very scientific – these are not nut-cases!

It turns out that the son, who has done this for 30 years, can’t last more than four minutes on the cross, even though he has not actually had nails in his body. The presenter wanted to try out the position, and lasted a minute. Neither could last very long because of the excruciating pain and discomfort.

If a man was crucified using ropes, he could last days. But if nails were used, he would not last more than a few hours.

One living UK artist wanted to actually experience crucifixion and travelled to the Philippines, where people act out crucifixion as part of their religious festivals. He had nails hammered into his hands and said that apart from the most awful pain, he passed out within a minute.

Despite lack of physical evidences, the archaeologist said what I said: that lack of evidence does not mean something did not occur. It simply means there are no evidences. Other archaeologists repeated the same simple fact. There are plenty of written evidences for crucifixion, though.

We must accept that Christ was a real person, living at a time of violence, in a land held captive by brutal Romans & run by puppet Jewish haters of Messiah; and the same Christ was actually beaten and killed at the behest of His own people.

Finally, the pathologist said that the film by Mel Gibson was wrong. As we might easily assume, Gibson used the whipping of Christ in a totally gratuitous way. The pathologist said no man could have been whipped for that length of time. The whips had sharp solid objects at the end of strands of leather. Each would have caused not just external wounds, but internal bruising and bleeding, leading to death within just a few minutes. No man, said the doctor, could have lasted for the time shown in the Gibson film, let alone be able to carry a 200 pound cross to the hanging mount! In fact, he said that a man could not survive more than five lashes.

Look at genuine facts, friends – do not place your faith in Mel Gibson and film-makers, whose only aim is to make millions. Time and again I warn Christians not to give credence to these films, yet they continue to take relatives and friends to them, in the vain hope that God is going to somehow use these completely secular offerings as a substitute for genuine preaching!! What a lack of discernment, when the things of Satan are relied upon, rather than God’s ordained way of reaching people!

Creation Versus Lies

I am often astonished at the claims made by scientists. In an effort to discredit creation, they invariably discredit their own intelligence!

The title of the news report sums up the attitude, even amongst the media: “Revealed: rise of creationism in UK schools”. As though creation teaching is somehow subversive.

Referring to PR packs sent out to schools (all of whom requested them) as ‘spreading controversial theory’, humanists are up in arms. Even though 59 schools said the pack was a “useful classroom resource”, officious unbelievers want to deny kids an alternative to Darwinianism.

The government (socialist and therefore anti-religion) say the packs are “not appropriate to support the science curriculum”. BUT WHY NOT? WHAT MAKES DARWINIANISM AND EVOLUTION MORE ‘APPROPRIATE’, WHEN EVOLUTION IS MERELY AN HYPOTHESIS?

One teacher said “Just because it takes a negative look at Darwinism doesn’t mean it is not science. I think to critique Darwinism is quite appropriate.” Good for him!

The government however, appears not to understand what makes a scientific theory a law, by saying “Neither intelligent design or creationism are recognised scientific theories”. Recognised by whom? It is certainly recognised by leading Christian scientists! And even by scientists who claim no religious view.

Once again we are seeing repression of speech and suppression of ideas, which is oppression of the people. Why is the government afraid? Because people might learn the truth? Or because their minds will be opened to another idea our atheistic government will not like?

And how can a government confuse a theory and a hypothesis? Evolution is not a full theory but a mere hypothesis, hardly higher than an idea. There are no proofs for evolution, but unbelieving scientists confuse ‘evidences’ for ‘proofs’. Evolution, then, is as theoretic as creation. Whilst we know creation is true, we cannot prove it scientifically. But, neither can evolutionists prove evolution to be true. Therefore, the only genuinely scientific thing to do is to present alternative views side by side.

But government will not do this, because it might upset their heathen policies and views, which they constantly try to indoctrinate the public with! If people started to believe creation, they would sooner or later start also to reject government lies and foppish scientific garbage… gay causation being one of them.

So-called ‘leading scientists’ (who are they?) say “There is no evidence for intelligent design, it is pure religion and has nothing to do with science.”

This shows they are confusing evidences with proofs! There can be plenty of ‘evidences’ for something, but evidences do not necessarily prove something exists! Any genuine scientist knows that! Look at the lead story in the last Beacon, where a ‘leading scientist’ admits there are no proofs for evolution, but growing reasons to query the existence of Darwinian theory!!

WHY ARE WE PUTTING UP WITH THIS NONSENSE IN OUR SCHOOLS? SAME GOES FOR GAY MATERIAL: IT IS PRESENTED AS FACT BY GOVERNMENT, WHEN IT IS NOTHING OF THE SORT. IT IS JUST PROPAGANDA, THROUGH AND THROUGH, JUST LIKE THE TEACHING OF EVOLUTION.

Educationalists show their complete ignorance on this matter. Evolution may indeed be a preferred theory, but that is all it is, a very weak theory or, rather, a hypothesis that cannot ever become a full theory, because evolution can never be tested or repeated in a laboratory! Creation cannot be tested or repeated, either, so why is it that evolution is given greater credence? It is because of the hatred shown towards the very idea of God by those who run our state schools! That is why they won’t even look at the scientific arguments put forward by genuine, highly-respected Christian scientists.

We once attempted to get a straightforward ‘slug-it-out’ published argument between a leading evolutionist and a leading creationist. Guess who backed-out? Yes – the evolutionist, after another evolutionist warned him he would lose!!

Fat Cats on our Taxes

Over 500 senior civil servants will get pensions of £500,000, paid for by our taxes!! (Source: Survey by the Taxpayers’ Alliance, as reported in The Guardian, 27th November).

This is worse than the obscene amounts paid to footballers and film stars, because these huge millionaire cash payouts are funded by the majority of citizens, many of whom will end up on state pensions, or less. It is enough to make us sick. But wait – there’s more… our wondrous MP’s are demanding an amazing £40,000 a year rise in their income!! Instead of trying to compete with industry, these governmental fat cats should go back to genuine reasons for becoming an MP – consideration of the good of their fellow men.  (Will such a man ever emerge?).

Many MP’s are a waste of space and money. They do nothing for the good of the country, as the lead story in this Beacon proves. They are out for massive personal gain, on the backs of a populace they constantly deceive and impoverish.

M.E.

Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, also known as M.E., or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, has been treated as psychosomatic since it first started to appear in medical records. It has now been revealed that medical researchers have conducted biased research because of this, and so many with the problem are being brushed off as neurotic. There are about 250,000 with M.E. in the UK.

I know people with M.E. and their symptoms are often extreme and powerfully debilitating. I had M.E. alongside another ailment for 18 years, and there was no way I invented the symptoms. Nor did I have a neurotic reason to be fatigued.

When the symptoms first began, I would literally fall asleep at work. On one occasion I lay on a couch and when a senior manager walked in I simply could not move. When he ordered me to stand I could not, so I was reprimanded!

A month or so later the fatigue was made far worse, with horrific physical signs and symptoms, none of which were finally diagnosed. For a year I was crippled and unable to do anything. After that, for 17 more years, I suffered a variety of symptoms, the fatigue being only one of them. Yet, I had to work.

And by fatigue I do not mean simple tiredness! I mean I had to lay down and could not move! Then, suddenly, the fatigue would lift. One moment I could not move or keep my eyes open; the next, I could move normally and had no fatigue!! Other symptoms continued for years, and suddenly left me in 1996.

So, if you know anyone with M.E. have sympathy, because their symptoms are real. And the fatigue is not normal tiredness – it is overwhelming, distressing and completely debilitating.

Hands Off Christmas!

A combined Christian-Muslim group have sent out letters to every local council in the UK, warning them to keep their hands off Christmas!

Muslim leaders are telling them that it is not just against Human Rights, but it is also about their own well-being. It seems that when a council removes Christmas trees, lights, carols, etc., from public places, schools, and so on, Muslims are being blamed, and this causes anti-Muslim feelings to arise. So, far from leading to racial and cultural harmony, the council actions are actually fuelling racial hatred!

But, will councils listen? They are pathetically PC in everything they do, and Marxist at heart, so the group will probably not be heeded.

May You Know Peace

At BTM we are active against injustice and godless activities. But, above all that, we know only God can bring-down evil men and cause holiness to take effect. Without God’s intervention there can be no genuine earthly peace.

We pray that all our readers will know God’s peace over the coming holiday season, whether you practice Christmas as a festival or not. If you do, we simply urge that you do so with personal conviction. Otherwise it becomes just a thing to do because everyone else does it!

As always we ask you to remember obedience to God. Obey and be blessed. Prayerfully celebrating the birth of Christ is fine (though His birth was nowhere near December 25th), for those who wish to. For others, like us, we enjoy the time as a period of rest, and, hopefully, as a time when family gets together.

Let us all strive to gain peace, to obey the Lord, to truly love our brethren (even if some do not agree with each other!), and to show compassion to those who are bedridden or alone.

Peace is a product of really knowing God in truth and in love. Both together are holy gifts, and all gifts are for the benefit of the whole Church.
